if there is any spare PD floating around the DDA could I ask that some be sent winging its way to Boston? Kathrin has landed and is checked into the Omni. She has a 3 hour interview this afternoon with one company and another long interview with the second company tomorrow morning.

She will get back into the Richmond airport tomorrow night about 9:45 and will meet Kristin and Bob and me at the Doubletree there instead of driving home and then back again Thursday morning. So, it will feel like our vacation starts tomorrow too!

Anne Marie, wait till the Christmas shopping really begins Glad you are enjoying your job, sounds perfect for you! I had a customer comment on my shirt yesterday that had Winnie The Pooh on it. We got to talking & he told me that he was a CM for 20 years working at the resorts. I would have loved to have chatted with him all day, but I don't think the customers behind him would have appreciated that lol I did ask him what he was doing here & he said he was getting tired of the constant heat & wanted to be where he could enjoy all 4 seasons, silly man

I am so glad I decided to take today off. I woke up around 6am & did not have any problems getting myself motivated today I have dusted, vacuumed, swept, have laundry going, & have my toiletries ready to pack. I just need to wash the dishes & I will be done with house work. At least it will look decent when I leave.

I got most of my shopping done last night, just have a couple of errands to run later. I am hoping to wear myself out so I can get to sleep at a decent time, yea right lol

Good morning all! So much excitement with so many ready to leave soon. Of course that leaves so much depression for the rest of us. You all are going to have such a great time. Alas, I never heard the "magic words" so I'll be here living vicariously. Can't wait to hear all of the reports and see the pics!

My list for the week is long and not-so-distinguished so I had better get working. Several sewing projects that need to get done before Halloween is upon us. Also, lots of work towards Christmas projects that I want to get working on. Which reminds me, I need to go place an order.

Are you bringing capris? The weather forecast doesn't go below 70 at night...Maybe I'll throw 2 pairs in to be safe. It's cold here so I will be on the plane in long pants, & a sweatshirt. I am looking forward to the warm weather..I don't like cold. (nothing below 65!!!!! )

I hate to admit it, but I will stocking up on TV dinners for the boys. May not be the healthiest, but at least I know they will eat lol

I ordered a couple pairs online & I returned them last night. They sat way to low on my hips & to me just did not feel right. I am going to see if I can find a pair today, if not I will be wearing jeans on the plane.

I called the vet & they are going to give me some medicine to help her out. I have my 1st scratches from her, I was trying to clean her & she did not appreciate that lol

I called for a car service to pick me up & take me to the airport.

$90!!!

Dana wanted to drive me but I have to leave here at 5:45am to make the flight & I don't want to disrupt the kids schedules. I also think it would be hard for them to see me go to the airport without them....

Now I have my fingers crossed that the car will show up on time.
My flight is at 9am!!!!!

I was gonna offer to check a hotel/parking package for you but they start at $210 a night! I'm sure the car service will be fine.

I have my new Donner bag ready for the parks. I like the room it has & think it will work ok. Only problem, it is going to bother my shoulder. Even though I do not have it over packed it feels heavy. I looked last night for a shoulder pad to put on the strap but had no luck. Does anyone that is going have an extra one that I could borrow? I need something like this:
