The DDA Trouble Free Zone Part 3

I'm off to bed myself. Just finished the paperwork for the reviews of my staff. I have two of them tomorrow, two on Wednesday and 3 on Friday. I have the best team in the world. They work hard and have a good time doing it. I always enjoy spending time with them. The problem is that we support the West end of the UP so are all in different locations. We get together once a month for meetings. This is a treat being able to see them twice this month. Hopefully the weather will be good tomorrow because I have a 5 hour round trip. Ramiro & I watched it last night.
We are so confused.
What is the story line & or the plot?
Did we both miss something?
We are so glad we rented rather than purchased.
Or is this for Sci-Fi fans or what?
Nothing against Sci-Fi, just didn't get it.

I love the book. Or rather the "trilogy," which ended up being 5 books. Really funny, really clever, lots of irony.

The movie was just another one of those classic examples of a great book that just didn't translate well to the silver screen. Part of it was just the sheer volume of 5 books condensed into one movie. That's understandable and forgiveable. The fact that they tried to make it into a love story, well, not so forgiveable to those of us who read and loved the books.

Ramiro is about the same age I was when I first read the "trilogy"; he may want to give reading it a try to see what he missed, although I can see why he might be turned off from it after watching the movie.

go to disneyshopping.com they have a preorder for it already!! I think it is set to be released 4/4 so plenty of time for our Easter Baskets!!

If you pre order it Lynn it should arrive on time as Theresa says, and if not then you'll definitely get a copy from Walmart and you can send the ordered ones back.

You're right about the dvd machine - I was going to suggest you all order Nanny Mcphee from Amazon.co.uk instead of shelling out or cinema... we're on a different region though (which is why we only ever buy multi region dvd players so that we can buy US dvds too, they come out quicker and usually have better features...)

I'm so excited and I just can't hide it, I can, I can, I can, I can, I can watch Disney, Disney!

That is a variation on a song from my younger years except it was I know I want you.

It just popped in my head when I saw that Walt Disney World Resort: Behind Scenes is on the Travel channel at 6pm CST. Woohoo!!! Great TV for dinner time!

I will do anything to help me make it 19 more days!!!! I've listened to my Disney Greatest CD's about 100 times each in the last week or so! Well that is probably an exaggeration but I have listened to it alot. I've watched Mary Poppins, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Mulan, Mulan II, Return to Neverland, and I don't remember what else in the last month.

Can you tell I'm excited??!!

I've never seen either of them... should I get them? WIll I like them?

I started buying up all the dvds when they came out as I've missed quite a few - last year I got Mulan and Pocahontas... not really impressed...

I LOVE Beauty and the Beast and the Little Mermaid though...

Cinderella was ok.

Should I buy them? Even just to say I've seen them... they are classics after all...

I bought it for dh for Christmas, but I don't think he has watched it yet. He did read all the books ages ago. I also read Hitchhiker's Guide, but I honestly can't remember much about it.

So I am getting my me time, but not in a manner I would like. I went to work Sunday, luckily the roads weren't that bad. I got home about 6pm. While I was at work I got called and asked if I wanted to go in early. So instead of working from midnight to 8am, I ended up working from 10:30pm to 6:45am. Although I was supposed to stay until 8am.

At about midnight I started to feel nauseous and sick to my stomach. About 1am the vomitting began. I don't think I have ever thrown up so much in my life. I can't even count how many times I have thrown up. My whole body hurts so bad, plus my blood vessels under my eyes have all broken. I feel horrible.

I called on call about 3am to get someone to come in and finish out my shift. It was 6:45am til someone arrived so I could leave. I spent all day in bed. I tried to get a shower so I could go to my other job at 3pm and just about past out. I called in sick. I just got up a little while ago. I still feel horrible and nauseuos and stiff all over.

This definitely is not the type of me time I wanted or needed. When I woke up I thought it was Tuesday morning, this has definitely been my longest day ever.

In better news my grandfather is out of the hospital.

You will love both of them. I haven't seen Bambi yet though. I saw the 1st version but this is a new extended version but I am sure it will be great. Lady and the Tramp is a love story so I know you will enjoy that one.

Happy Valentines Day!!! DH and I have already had an arguement. I noticed this morning that Alex didn't finish all his homework. He said he forgot about a sheet he had to do. I wasn't going to make a big deal about it until after school. I hate getting their morning started off bad. Well DH didn't feel the same way and started fussing at him and telling him no more computer, no more TV, no more Nintendo...... .......Alex is a straight A student and is in focus (gifted class) so it is not like he did it on purpose. I even asked DH to not have the arguement this morning so he could have a good day at school on Valentine's Day. I really, really love my DH but sometimes I really don't like him. Right now I can't even stand to be in the same room with him. I asked him if he was perfect.....did he ever forget something!!! Of course he does but nobody yells at him.

O.K......I am thru venting I need to get ready for work and fix Austin's Valentine breakfast. Thanks for listening.
