The DDA Trouble Free Zone Part 3

Okay, but you were combining your wedding with a rediculously long holiday at WDW! My week-long trips are almost as much stress as my wedding, depending on the goal!

Also, you were a little farther from home than I was if something didn't go as planned.... that would stress me out as well!

Hmm come to think of it I did spend more time planning the WDW days than the wedding :

P.S. Here's something...I'm feeling the baby move around finally...only two weeks until our ultrasound. Are you all taking bets if it's a boy or a girl?

OK so you encourage me to join in on this thread and to stop lurking, your husband designs a signature for me, not to mention I fed you dinner on Saturday----and then you become too COOL to post about your "boring" (let me be the judge of that) life !!!! WHATEVER.....

Clare -- BElieve it or not, DD19 has not had an IBS attack or need for additional lactaid supplements since returning to college last month. She has the link you sent and will order the tablets if she feels there is a need. Thanks again!

Hopefully it will stay that way for her - I'm very jealous!

Ok, so nobody talk this afternoon, ok?

I'm skipping class because Kyle turned my alarm off. When I called him this morning he said, "with as little sleep as you've been getting the last few days, if you were up to go to class you could have. if you weren't up, then that means you were sleeping -- which you need. i don't care when you sleep, as long as you get some. don't worry about it"

But now I'm a little stressed. Not that I'll probably miss much as the professor just talks in circles and never gets to the material.... but I still feel like I should be productive while I'm home!

Doctor's report: sinus infection, double ear infection, bronchitis. Don't be jealous Actually, don't feel bad at all. This happens yearly... just usually in January. Just a day or two now, and I should be back to normal.

Hope you feel better soon. Kyle seems like a real sweetie, letting you sleep in. Sounds like it is just what the "doctor" ordered.

Just been nuts around here. Rees' lawyer meeting is tomorrow. He's had a bad 2 weeks, trying to get all the stuff for his school eval. That's why I'm not on much. Just a little stressed and taking a breather. I"m actually really depressed about Rees right now. It'll get better, but it is really hard to be a parent to a special needs child at times. I wouldn't trade it for anything, but it isn't always as easy as one would hope.

Garden Grill lunch
1900 Park Fare breakfast

My dad sent Alyssa a Valentine that said "Happy Valentine's Day to your BROTHER too." That card's going to be really funny someday if we have a girl.

I am happy to report that after calling three Party Cities, the third location has Jojo supplies, and I successfully booked three character meals for our upcoming March trip.

So glad you're around and doing ok.

I hear you about the dentist! Had to take all 4 kids to a new pediatric dentist, and found out that because I was so sick while pregnant with the twins, it affected their teeth. Mary's are so bad (even though we floss and brush every day) she's going to need caps in about a year. Talk about feeling guilty!

As to your baby, I would never want to guess. Either would be wonderful! My mom's doctor used to come in at every appointment and say, "Well, it's going to be a girl," and then the next time, "Well, it's going to be a boy." Then on delivery day he could say, "See, I was right."

I am fixing for breakfast strawberry muffins with bacon and chocolate milk. I did the cornish hens a couple of weeks ago and the boys didn't like them. I had to sit there and pick the meat off the bones for them and then by the time I was ready to eat it just didn't look good anymore. I am more of a "boneless chicken girl".............hence Chick-Fil-A being one of my favorites.

Strawberry muffins! Yummy! Do you make them from scratch? Recipe, please.

I'm hoping the Cornish hens go over well. My kids really enjoy eating with their fingers, so that might be a plus! They are real Medieval Times kids. We used to take them to a Renaissance Feaste every summer, and they loved being able to eat with their fingers without getting yelled at. If we ever manage to get them all to WDW, it would be funny to take them to 50's Prime Time and see what happens.

The big storm missed you guys, huh? Lucky you! And yes, I do want to hear about your life. I just enjoy the contact with other grown ups. Being surrounded by 3 year old twins all day long can grind your brain down! Thank heaven for the DIS!

Ok. I'll give it a shot. I'm new to the series but I think I have the main characters down.

Dr. Grey has her hand in the guys chest. They have to move to another operating room because the main oxygen line is under their operating room. Move is successful. Dr. Grey gets nervous and thinks she is going to blow up, tells the bomb guy and Dr. Burke to leave. Bomb guy talks calmly to her. She phases out for a minute and has a conversation with Dr. Shepherd telling him she is scared. He tells her it will all be ok. She phases back in. Slowly removes bomb successfully. Bomb guy leaves room. She walks out door a minute later to watch him walk down hall. Bomb blows up and knocks her background. She is fine.

Dr. Bailey (I think that is the right name - head of interns) decides she is not having the baby and won't push. Dr. Shepherd (female) is afraid she is going to have to c-section. Dr. O'Malley (again not sure if right character - shy intern) gives her a stern talking to and tells her he expected more from her. After all, she was Dr. Bailey. Dr. Bailey has the baby.

Dr. Bailey's husband is in bad shape. Dr. Shepherd (male) is operating on him. Things aren't going real well. Dr. Yang comes in and blurts out that Meredith is the one with her hand on the bomb. He pauses to look at her and at that moment, Dr. Bailey's husband dies. They try all kinds of things to bring him back. Nothing works. Finally, Dr. Shepherd (upset) bangs on his chest. He comes back to life.

Dr. Webber (head of the dept) passes out. I'm not sure what they determined it was. They were concerned he had a heart attack. He is fine and is up & around by end of show.

Dr. OMalley finds EMT who pulled her hand out of bomb. She is hiding in stairwell. She has cut her hand because she fell when she was running away crying. He bandages her hand.

Dr. Burke calls Dr. Shepherd by his first name. Dr. Shepherd goes looking for Meredith. His wife finds him and hugs him. He goes to Meredith's house to check on her. They talk and he leaves. Dr. Bailey shows husband the baby (forgot what the sex was).

Of course, this didn't happen in this order. It is the main story lines and their endings. I think I caught everything.

I know that Kate was the mastermind behind the Personalized names with the characters, but has anyone done the character's name with clipart of the characters inside? These are what I came up with, but if someone has already made these then I would like to give credit where credit is due. These are the ones that I have made so far, but it would be fun to do more.

1) George helped Dr. Bailey through labor by sitting behind her and at one point he was looking up at the mirror and he said, "oh I see the head and look at all that hair" and Dr. Bailey yelled, "Quit looking at my vajayjay!"
2) Dr. Bailey did name her child after George (baby's middle name)
3) Christina told Burke she loved him, but while he was sleeping.
4) In a sense, George's shower fantasy came true, because Christina and Izzy helped Meredith shower after the bomb exploded (the two bomb squad guys apparently are "pink mist")
5) Izzy and Alex had sex again
6) The Chief had symptoms of a heart attack, but it turned to be an anxiety attack
7) Derrick came out of surgery asking "Where is she?" The Chief said, "She's right here," and Addison came around the corner and hugged him. The Chief's wife could tell by Derrick's body language that something was not right, and she said to her husband, "That's not the she he was asking about."
8) Derrick showed up at Meredith's later that night. She told him she couldn't remember their last kiss and he told her all about it in great detail.

Next week's episode looks good...Addison's lover (and Derrick's former best friend) is coming to town!

Nope Narnia came out same day here as there in the theatre (just like Harry P) you guys will probably get it on dvd first... (I just checked play.com and it's due for release for you guys on April 4... when's Easter this year?)

Chicken Little just came into our theatres this week - can't believe we didn't go watch it on our November trip! I've decided to hang on for the four weeks until I can order it off amazon.com - cheaper on DVD than going to the cinema!

1) George helped Dr. Bailey through labor by sitting behind her and at one point he was looking up at the mirror and he said, "oh I see the head and look at all that hair" and Dr. Bailey yelled, "Quit looking at my vajayjay!"
2) Dr. Bailey did name her child after George (baby's middle name)
3) Christina told Burke she loved him, but while he was sleeping.
4) In a sense, George's shower fantasy came true, because Christina and Izzy helped Meredith shower after the bomb exploded (the two bomb squad guys apparently are "pink mist")

I knew there would be some important things that I would have missed for a regular watcher. The one next week does look good. From the previews, Addison's lover & Derrick get into a fight. The lover tells Addison it is obvious that Derrick doesn't love her. Should have some major sparks flying. Maybe there is hope for Meredith getting Derrick back yet!

You must be kidding Me?? Homemade strawberry muffins.

My mix comes out of a package and all I do is add water.....well maybe and egg and oil. I will have to check the directions on the pkg. But I can assure you that fixin' breakfast for Alex at 7am and then Austin at 8am it will not be from scratch.
