Hi, everyone. Trying to catch up but there's about 50 pages I haven't read. I skimmed trying to find the "big" events. Anyone care to do a cliff notes version for me?

I did see:

Brendita: congrats on the D. Glad it went smoothly. Hope the house sells soon and that your DS is ok.

Kristine, so sorry about Bill's dad. You're in my prayers.

Jennifer, beautiful wedding pics. How gorgeous are you!

Steffy, glad your Dad's b'day was good and you made it home safely.

Deb, love the pj tops. No snow? Figured you'd get a ton.

Elin, hope your puppy feels better.

Now, I know I missed a ton of regular DDAers there, so please fill me in on the rest of the gang!

Just been nuts around here. Rees' lawyer meeting is tomorrow. He's had a bad 2 weeks, trying to get all the stuff for his school eval. That's why I'm not on much. Just a little stressed and taking a breather. I"m actually really depressed about Rees right now. It'll get better, but it is really hard to be a parent to a special needs child at times. I wouldn't trade it for anything, but it isn't always as easy as one would hope.

Just know you and yours are in my prayers. Hope thinks settles down a bit for you. It takes someone special like you to be a mother to triplets.

Denise-

I think "just been nuts" also sums it up around here.
The "blues" have hit quite a few DDA'ers lately. Me included.
Rees is a lucky little boy to have you for a mama. All the struggle you will/are going through for him makes his life easier. God knew what he was doing when he gave you that special boy.
Hope the struggle lessens soon!! :grouphug:

Hello Denise :wave2:

Thanks for checking in with us and keeping us updated on Rees. I have to remind myself sometimes that God will never give me more than I can handle. I know you believe the same way so it is good you are taking a quick breather and have a little "Me" time. Even if it is only 15 minutes on the computer.

My DH just told me he has to work tomorrow night so I guess my Valentine evening will be with Austin and Alex. I think I will treat them to dinner and movie with Mom. Has anyone seen the new Pink Panther movie??

We saw it. IMO, it was VERY ok. We heard bad reviews about it but wanted to see it anyway, as it's been so long since Steve Martin was in that kind of role. Well.... the reviews weren't too far off. We thought that most of it was kind of cute, but the jokes were often dragged out entirely too long and really almost got to the groan level, where we were ready to move on to the next scene.

I think, though, the kids behind us enjoyed it immensely, from their giggles.... so maybe it will be perfect for your gang.

Are your kids too old or too cool for Curious George? THAT's the one I wanted to see

Haven't seen the Pink Panther, so I can't help you there. My parents (75 DF, 74 DM) saw Nanny McPhee over the weekend and immediately called me to say, "Drop what you are doing and see this movie!" They loved it! They said that it would appeal to kids of all ages as well. So, that's the only movie review I can give at this time.

Have fun on your Valentine Mother/Sons date. My DH has to work late as well. However, I'm planning on surprising the kids in the morning with heart shaped pancakes and strawberry milk. For dinner, I'm roasting Cornish game hens for all the kids. The twins thought it was so cool that everyone would get their own chicken for dinner. We aren't going to have a dessert though, since they will be loaded with sugar from the treats they'll get at school.

I take my hat off to you for organising a wedding with that many people and guests! I had enough stress with one bridesmaid the best man and four guests! :rotfl:

Okay, but you were combining your wedding with a rediculously long holiday at WDW! My week-long trips are almost as much stress as my wedding, depending on the goal! :rotfl:

Also, you were a little farther from home than I was if something didn't go as planned.... that would stress me out as well! :rolleyes1

Theresa and Steffy -- Thanks for the good wishes!

Clare -- BElieve it or not, DD19 has not had an IBS attack or need for additional lactaid supplements since returning to college last month. She has the link you sent and will order the tablets if she feels there is a need. Thanks again!

Deb -- cute PJ designs!

Jennifer -- go back to bed and rest. You will get better that way!

Denise -- lots of thoughts and prayers for you during this stressful time. Take care of yourself, along with the little figs.

Thanks for the update. I was hoping that things had made a turn for the better. I have been thinking of you and yours a lot lately. :grouphug:. Hopefully you will find a quick resolution.

Has that just hit your theatres? It was released on DVD here today... we're usually behind you guys...

It hit our theaters just a little while ago. I can't wait to see it as I love Emma Thompson and Colin Firth. My oldest DD and I are planning a "Girl's Day Out" to go to lunch and then to see the movie. Can't wait. When you have kids, it gets much harder to go to the movies. It's hard to justify the babysitting expense along with the outrageous ticket prices. Sometimes I feel so behind!

Denise - I've been thinking about you and your family. Here's hoping that all goes well for Rees. I agree with what everyone else has said: You are the perfect mother for those triplets. Someone who will go to bat for her children. Thank you for updating us.

Elin - Take care of yourself! Sounds like an icky time for a lot of us! Here's some :wizard: for you to get well and back to your music lessons!

Vicki - I love the hoodies! They are great! And I love your Alice pillowcase design, too. You people who design just amaze me!

I know that I've missed some stuff so I'm just going to send out some good wishes for all my DDA family! By the way, has anyone heard from the Queen lately? What about Amy and Marti. I haven't seen anything from them in a while, and I wondered if I needed to start worrying.

They've all posted elsewhere I think..... why are you guys hiding?! :confused3 :rotfl:

You don't have to worry about me Glynis. :goodvibes

I can't think of obnoxious things to post every day, and it's just not my style to post about my boring life. Seriously, do you want to hear about the lecture I got about my red gums at the dentist this morning? :teeth:

I am happy to report that after calling three Party Cities, the third location has Jojo supplies, and I successfully booked three character meals for our upcoming March trip. :sunny:

:wizard: to all my DDA friends who need it!

Amy :)

P.S. Here's something...I'm feeling the baby move around finally...only two weeks until our ultrasound. Are you all taking bets if it's a boy or a girl? :goodvibes

My boys are 8 and 12 so yes Curious George would be "not cool" to go see. I will let them pick between Pink Panther and Nanny Mcphee. The problem is they will not pick the same one. Oh well..........Lynn

I am fixing for breakfast strawberry muffins with bacon and chocolate milk. I did the cornish hens a couple of weeks ago and the boys didn't like them. I had to sit there and pick the meat off the bones for them and then by the time I was ready to eat it just didn't look good anymore. I am more of a "boneless chicken girl".............hence Chick-Fil-A being one of my favorites.
