Snow day here too!!

Julia is NOT happy and neither is mommy!!!

They both want to go outside and play - and mean mommy told them no!! When you have a cough and snotty nose - you don't get to go play in the snow - and it REALLY doesn't help if your mom is a wimp and hates snow!!!!
Bad mommy! :stir:

You Cincinnati people better knock off that snow dance...if our flight is delayed, I'm blaming you, not Mother Nature! :rotfl:

We made an offer and after a little negotiating, we came to an agreement that will all be finalized upon our return! :cheer2:

I don't know if I'll have time to log on tomorrow, so goodbye for now! I hope everyone has a great week!

Amy :)

I know I know...but that came from DH. He isn't up on all the Disney trivia like we are.

here is a joke -

a mom was playing on the computer with her daughter and the computer asked for her password and the daughter told her mom that her password was

mickeyminniegoofyplutodonald

the mom asked why her password was so long and her daughter said

it had to be a least five characters

I think that there is a conspiracy amongst all kids - they seem to teach each other this. I don't mean siblings to siblings. I think that they teach it to each other on the playgrounds! Katie & Becky are still blatant about it. Don't you love the eyes when they are doing it!!!!!

Dogs also seem to have been taught this trick! I am currently sitting in my recliner with a board across my lap and my laptop on it. My dog is sitting at my feet but she just turned around and lay her head on the board and gave me "the eyes" because I'm not petting her. Poor thing got spayed yesterday so she is quite needy today.

I always tell my girls to stop trying the eyes because I have the "puppy dog" eyes perfected....and DH agrees with me!! :rotfl2:

YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!

The girls were so excited when they saw this! How did you know that Cinderella is Leslie's favorite princess, and Belle is Mary's. You really are the Queen! Long live the Queen!

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Please do. After Christmas I saw that Old Navy had Ginger Bread aprons on sale but I don't see them anymore. You could make aprons (or buy plain ones at Michaels) and put a design on them. I got the idea when I saw the aprons at Kohl's. They were on sale and the person in front of me at check out gave me a coupon so I think I paid about $6 each for them.

They had a lot of fun making the cookies. I couldn't get them to all look up at one time so I went with a photo of them holding the cookies with aprons on.

I usually do a huge Christmas cookie decorating party for Katie and her friends. I buy little aprons at the craft store (2.00) and let them decorate them with paints, etc. This year, I'll stock up on some red ones, and then trim them with the white "fur" to give them a Santa look. I can't believe that I'm already planning on the Christmas card photo. DH will be so impressed that I've come up with the idea this early. Perhaps we'll have the photo session in the summer so it will be done before things get hectic!

Thanks for the great idea!

Well my b'day is off to a great start! I got the Barry Manilow new CD, HP Goblet of Fire DVD, a new pair of sunglasses, and a gorgeous silk floral shirt in yellows, pinks, and orange. It's beautiful! Kids were all excited and of course opened my presents for me.

Off to get my car inspection and our new car tags. Then home to make the cake and then dinner out! Yippee!

Thanks to all for the b'day wishes. I really appreciate it!

Denise

Hve a great birthday! Sounds like you are doing really well so far!

Dear Aunt Denise - thanks for the birthday wishes! We are going to build a bear for our birthday. we love our 4 birthday! (as dictated to mom).

I can't believe you all have a SNOW DAY today!!!!! We have 8 inches on the ground, and still the schools are open. They won't close them here, unless the snow plows can't get through. In the 15 years I've lived here, they've onlly closed the schools once for snow, and even then, as a teacher, I was required to be at the school. What is THAT about? My kids would love a snow day, but I keep telling them it ain't gonna happen!
