Here is a pic with us in our Name Designs by none other than the Queen herself. We actually got more attention with the name shirts than any of the other shirts we wore. The back of the shirts had a four park map design that said "So much to do So little time." This is also one of the photopass pics.

Here is a pic at Chef Mickey's. Not sure if you can see Jessie's shirt good but he has on the one Denise designed. I think Kate was the designer of mine.

Okay one more. This is the one Jessie wore to eat with the Princesses at the Castle. BTW Kate is this your Belle. She was really nice. We had a great time at this meal also.

Just want to post a few of my favorite pics to show off our shirts. I cannot remember who designed each and everyone of them but I will try.

The first picture is my absolute favorite. My DS was so looking forward to eating breakfast with Stitch and Lilo and it lived up to his expectations. Stitch loved his shirt and gave him some extra attention.

No sure who designed these shirts but we loved them and got lots of attention wearing them.

Edited to add: The dates on the pics is way off. For some reason my camera decided to have a mind of its own and I did not notice it till we got home. :rotfl:

I did the "Bad to the Bone" one! Thanks for sharing. :cool1:

Kate and Jo, speaking of bridges...have you seen that video of the Tacoma Narrows bridge? It's pretty rough. :scared1:

Your pics are great, especially the one in your sig. What kind of camera do you use?

Just had to share this with you.

DH plays in a marching band. In fact it is the second oldest band in the US. They (New Holland Band, Pa) are celebrating their 150th year. This means a lot of celebrating this year. They even made a 37 minute film which they will show later this year. They are even going to try to get it on PBS.
The members range in age from 13 to 91. Naturally the older ones do not march anymore :lmao:
My DH is so into music that when he passes on, he wants the band to play a few numbers for him. They all have that in their wills, I swear.

So Sunday was their annual Spring Concert. The music was excellent, good choices were played. They always end with Stars and Stripes.
This song really gets to me. I can still remember Andy playing the Bass Drum at his daughter's funeral and wacking the he// out of it.
That is what music means to me
You'll have to let us know if it gets on PBS so we can watch. Or would it just be local?

My baby is feeling a bit better but looks like death warmed over. I already called her in sick from school tommorow....this teacher thing is driving me nuts...since starting middle school she has gotten one teacher a year we struggle with. My biggest problem is the kids are reminded over and over before CSAP's not to be stressed, get enough sleep etc. and this teacher told them if they didn't come in for the test today it was extra stressful testing on Wednesday...I'm trying to figure out his logic :confused3 .

Oh well it is Monday and it can only look up from here right?

The state tests are for the state, teachers, and schools benefit - not the kids. I have a very hard time with the state tests for this reason. Some children don't do well in test environments - this doesn't mean that they aren't brilliant - how many of our famous scientists & inventors actually completed school???!!!

I hope that your daughter is feeling better soon. My daughter had to take the make-up tests and did just fine on them. I think you made the right decision - the regular exam yesterday was more important to your daughter and her future since it is part of her actual grade for school. Remind her that the state tests are not for her benefit so just to relax and get well.

Tammy thanks for the complement. The pic in my siggy is one of the photopass pics. I use a Kodak CX4300 easyshare camera. I was eally surprised at how well it did.

Midnite thanks for the Bad to the Bone design. Did you notice I added a pic of my DS to it? It looks like he is riding on stitches back. This is one of his favorite shirts.

Congrats to Kyle! Here's some PD that he gets a top choice and some for his friends. pixiedust: pixiedust:

Deb-WOW. I love your designs!

Thanks for the encouragement. For the most part, I love my classes (with the exception of mean professors). I really think I need to back off to one class a semester. My house is just falling apart and I'm feeling like a bad mother to my children. I just need more hours in the day!
I cannot imagine doing it with children. My first semester I had a 3.75 GPA which I was really happy with since I had been out of school so long and I had that bad marketing prof and I also took exams to test out of 3 other classes along with taking 2 classes. After that I had a straight 4.0 until I took International Economics. The prof was SO full of himself. He assigned at least 500 pages of reading a week plus at thousands of extra reading available only at the library. I live 50 miles from school. And I had to come to the realization that if I didn't get a 4.0 from him my world wasn't going to end. Once I made that decision it was much less stressful. I don't remember what grade I got in that class but I still ended up with a 3.9 overall and you know what-noone has ever asked me what my GPA was. It is the degree that counts. I think 1 class a semester sounds likes a good idea.

We will give you our itinerary once it is finalized. We will definitely meet up, even if it is only for a Dole Whip! ;)

Sounds great!

I don't know what to do...I have a $500 deductible. The insurance companies are arguing fault...I guess typically the backerupper is at fault...BUT she pulled in after I started pulling out...then there's the whole neighbor relationship issue to consider. I really just don't need this...BTW, I am still playing around to see if I can do this trip...airfare for me is pricing out at $300! From last night to today it is up $70.

Sounds like you need a vacation!!!!!

Then perhaps I better not join you. Last time I had a Dole Whip at Walt Disney World, I sprained my ankle as I attempted to throw away the empty container. The trash can was in Tomorrowland in front of the Timekeeper sitting on a metal grate. It had rained and apparently the metal grate was slippery. I went to put the container in the trash can it wouldn't go in the can, it had one of those spring loaded lids, I attempted to stop to put it in the can. My body kept going my ankle did not and I did a complete turn on my ankle and landed flat on my butt. I hadn't even been in Florida 24 hours yet. This was last March.

I'll throw it away for you! Well, maybe I'll get DD to do it :teeth:

thanks for the info. does it come in a different color then the red you got.

Yup- grey(storm), light blue (marina), bright blue (cornflower), lilac (wisteria), and red (crimson). They also have the Triumph (can't remember the price, but it is a little less) and I think that stroller had a lot of wild patterns!!

Thanks for the reminder...last year Cassidy asked why we didn't opt her out (we can do that and her score would go in as a zero) because if they wanted to test the teachers why didn't they do it directly? My answer was they needed tests scores from kids like her to help even out the kids who don't test well and that this was their way of testing the teachers.
This year I am tempted to opt her out.....

I got the response from the teacher on his logic and it wasn't logical....do I drop it or continue on?

Dumby---

Those are wonderful pictures, such a cute group!!

Dumby the pictures are great. It looks like you had a great trip.

So did anyone else decide to go on the DDA trip? I'm losing count. It sounds like so much fun. You will all have a great time.

Hi!
The valance turned out really cute. But I did post on travelin gals thread about color problems. I ironed on a yellow street sign over a red background and looks kind of orange (the red started to bleed through :confused3 ). DH likes it that way though, since most construction signs are orange anyway!
Kristin

any pictures?!?!

Helloooo DDA!

We are back from another magical trip at the World, and I am unfortunately already suffering those post-Disney blues. I cried like a baby at the end of Wishes on our last night  , and then wanted to commit bodily harm to all those checking into the Poly yesterday with their welcome leis around their necks! :rolleyes1

And someone actually thinks I'm going to be able to wait until late 2007 to return?!?!?! :faint:

I guess the one good thing about being home is that I have something like a 100 pages of DDA chit chat to catch up on! :p However, as it might take me FOREVER with all the laundry, piled up crises at work, etc. - if anyone wants to give me a CliffNotes version, that would be great!

Hope all are well! :goodvibes

Lindsay
I always cry at the end of my trips too-

Amy is officially in charge of recaps - has she done one yet for you?
