went to doctor at school today because i have been sick for the past two weeks and now going on week three. i just love doctors. first thing he said was "well it is allergy season and things are blooming." i said not when my mucus is brown and i am caughing so hard i am bringing up blood. so now i am on zpac and musinex(sp). so hopefully it helps. luckily i didnt have to go to school last week or this week. hope to be back to the classroom healthy monday morning. off to work on lesson plans.

i am a education major in texas and we as students hate the state test for the kids. they push the test so much that it stresses everyone out. the state test here is if you dont pass you dont move on. it sucks. i do agree with you updisney kids might freak at tests or they arent feeling well that dya. its only one day out of the school year they get tested and that says if they are smart enough to move on to the next grade. i think not.

That is just WRONG!!!! There is no way that one test on one day should make such a major change in someone's life. My DD17 has a reading comprehension disability. She does very well on all her assignments and has a fantastic memory. However, if you give her a traditional test, chances are 50/50 that she will pass or fail. If someone reads her the test, then she has a much better chance. However, when she is sitting with a bunch of other kids, she gets stressed easily and tends to do poorly. She is basically an A/B student. She would probably be an A student if she didn't have such problems with the tests.

We booked the Segway tour for Saturday morning - that should be so MUCH fun! and we made our ADRs today!!!!

Now we have to get working on our t-shirt plan - b/c we obviously need to wear DDA originals!!!

That sounds like so much fun. I was thinking about Segway for my May 1st adult trip.

What ADR's did you make?

For the adult trip (3 nights) we just have a Boma dinner and CP breakfast to get those Pooh autographs on Lizzy's card.

For Lizzy'z birthday trip I've got:

Friday 5/19 dinner at GG
Saturday 5/20 dinner at Teppanyaki
Sunday 5/21 breakfast with Donald; dinner Brown Derby
Monday 5/22 tea at GF; dinner at CP

Good advice. That's basically what I've decided with my professor. I'm just going to do the best that I can, and be happy with the fact that I'm learning, no matter what. I'm just grateful that summer is coming and I can have a break from school. Actually, I need to take an elective class and I just found out that I can take a class that lasts 2 weeks, is based at the Utah Shakespearean Festival (that's the theater my dad founded), and would consist of watching 6 plays, writing a couple of papers, and going to seminars with actors, directors and other theatrical people. And I could stay with my mom for those 2 weeks. It's a win-win situation. An easy way to get the 2 credits that I need!

That sounds AWESOME! For one of my classes I went to Estonia.
