Day 2 went well. The Jungle Book DVD was released today so everyone came in to buy it. Now Ratatioulle is on pre-sale with the 4 prints.
The store was very busy today & that made the time go by fast.
While I was walking around I noticed that we do carry pins. Not many, just 5-6 types but now I want them! Most are only $5 each & I do not really trade, I just get what I like & keep them. They had a nice Jack Skelenton & a Snow White set that I have to get.

Hope you are all doing well.

I would be buying everything lol

hi everyone-
im home from one of the most stressful days at work...imso glad i dont have to go in tomorrow--even though im off for af uneral--just need a littel break from that place!

so here i am :)

Elizabeth- We were told last night that the judges (and the audience) just weren't "getting" the extra pieces for the pit....tell your DS that I will still get him a close up of the pit and then the basses when they are being used just for him. :goodvibes

So I have been dealing with a migraine all day. had to call into work. its a little better now but not much. I have tried to sleep it away but no use. Thank God Jeff was off today.

Thanks for all the picture compliments! :)

Tia and Robyn, I loved your pictures too! :goodvibes

My cousin sent me this recipe and it reminded me of you all. I haven't tried it yet, but it sounds delicious, and my cousin is a great cook!

Blueberry Surprise French-Toast Casserole

12 Slices dry white bread, cut into 1/2” cubes
2 packages (8 ounce) cream cheese, cut into 3/4” cubes
1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
12 eggs
2 cups milk
½ cup pure maple syrup

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Place half of the bread cubes over the bottom of a well-buttered, 13x9x2 inch baking dish. Sprinkle cream cheese and blueberries over bread cubes; top with remaining bread cubes.
Beat the eggs with a rotary beater or whisk in a large bowl; beat in the milk and syrup. Carefully pour egg mixture over bread mixture. Cover with foil; chill in the refrigerator 2 to 24 hours/
Bake, covered, 25 minutes. Uncover; bake until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean and topping is golden brown, 25 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes. Serve warm with additional syrup.

NOTE: To dry bread, arrange slices in a single layer on a wire rack, cover loosely and let stand overnight. Or cut bread into ½” cubes, spread in a large baking pan and bake, uncovered, in a 300-degree oven 10-15 minutes, or until dry, stirring twice; cool.

Tia, Amy and Robyn....the kiddos pictures are awesome!!!

So John wanted to do Halloween. We bought a mess of candy and I sat and made up 69 bags today.

Jennifer, you want a couple of bags? I can drop them in the mail (no charge).
I still have a ton of candy, ran out of bags. :rolleyes1
