If anyone's interested, during my downtime today at work I have an abbreviated version of the Marketplace booths. Covers a normal piece of paper both sides if anyone wants a smaller version to review or bring. Email/PM me at work and I can forward it on!

Hi Chanon,

I think you already have my email address. If not let me know.

I would love a copy.

Thanks

Happy October, one day late, DDA! I hope everyone is having a good day! :)

I haven't cropped pictures or uploaded any pictures to Photobucket in ages, so I decided to ditch the cleaning and work on this a bit. Here are some of my favorites from the past month:

Sometimes they adore each other (recent trip to Huron):

And sometimes Matthew just wants Alyssa to just leave him alone (yesterday at the zoo...he literally pushed her away everytime she inched closer to him):

King's Island "Nick or Treat" event (so not a MNSSHP, but we have passes, so it was free fun for a couple hours):

It's so nice to have the park within walking distance of our house. Matthew has become quite the slide daredevil. He was actually going down the right way when Kevin snapped this picture:

A few more zoo pictures. It wasn't the nicest of days, so it was great to have the the animals (and statues :rotfl: ) to ourselves:

Anne Marie -- glad you like your new job

Deb -- glad you are being productive today

Elizabeth -- AAAACK! for sick DH and phone/DSL problems!!

Glynis -- hope you didn't spend too much!!

Lindsay -- keep saying, "I think I can, I think I can, I think I can" and you will get through this and meet us on the other side!!

Amy -- GORGEOUS pictures of the kids! Thanks for making me smile this afternoon.

I think it was Chanon who wondered how long one would have to wait to get into the free seminars being offered during the F&W Festival. I just read a post on a thread from someone who was there this past weekend and she seemed to feel that one hour ahead of time ought to be ample. So, file that away in case you plan to do any of those free seminars in the old Wonders of Life pavilion.

Amy - Love the pics!

Elin - Yes, it is quite the AAAACK sort of week so far. DH says he feels a little bit better and was able to eat something and keep it down but he still doesn't feel well.

Lindsay - Sorry your work is keeping you so busy! June 14 works for us as far as I know. The only thing that could mess that up is if that is the ONLY week that DH could get vacation, which would mean we would be at WDW. Are we looking at the Gaylord Texan and the Great Wolf Lodge?

Well said, Elin. Thanks!! :goodvibes

Part Two of the Marketplace Word Document I have!
It's written in order of what's in the Festival Guide...going clockwise.
Just in case, it's done in Veranda in font size 8. I don't have a lot of beer prices on this - please add and remove as necessary (like at the Great Beers of the World for example have no beers listed...).
Also, I copied based on the Marketplace menu's, so an appitizer should be followed by the suggested wine paring...to an extent - because if there are extra wines included they fall to the bottom of the list.
If you see any duplicates, typos or anything I might have missed, let me know!!
(Three columns = three days worth of F&WF for me!)

Hmm. So the eBay guy messaged me back saying he sent those pins on purpose because the pins I won were either damaged or listed in error. Um, OK? He could get in huge trouble with eBay for item "significantly not as described". I would think it would be better to TELL the buyer you don't have the EXACT item they won and ask if they will accept a substitute. It is a darn good thing we were just buying traders and not adding to our collections because some of his substitutions weren't even close to the pins I won! I'm thinking I won't bid on his auctions again because his shipping is kind of high. I like the guy who ships FREE if you buy 25 or more pins.

I need to buy some trader pins for our December trip. Where is the best place to get them? I just want traders. I don't care about specifics but do want ones that are WDW pins and not the fakes. Help! :)

The easiest thing to do is go buy them at the Disney Store. The Snow White sets have 8 pins for $14.50 and you can trade them individually, so I bought 5 sets. VERY easy, and it gets rid of the problem of people wanting to keep the pins you bought to trade.

You can order from Darlene and Nena. I think they are taking orders starting Friday. It is $2.30 per pin, free shipping, minimum order of either 10 or 20 pins (can't remember - sorry!). They send COOL pins which means you might not be trading them. You also can't see what you are getting, but they don't send junk.

You can bid on EvilBay. DO NOT buy the lots of cast lanyard pins.:scared: Also stay away from the "grab bags" because you really have no clue what's in there and if they are fakes it will be a pain to return them. I try not to go higher than $3 per pin (shipping included) on EvilBay. If you are patient you can bid on individual pins, if not go for lots that look like someone's collection, not like somebody bought out an entire Chinese warehouse.;)

AHA!!! I found it!! Add it to your lists! Iced Teas are 2.50 with no snack credit allowed on the drinks. But I have been finding out that even the $6.75 Maine Lobster Roll IS included for a snack on the dining plan!!
PS: This website has alot of great photos from the F&W too! (Can ya tell I'm getting excited?!?)

WHAAAAAA!!!! I am turning greener by the minute. My secret wish has been that Phil will suddenly day "Tia, you deserve a break with as much as I've been gone lately. Why don't you join everyone at Disney this month." Granted it's a very far-fetched wish, but, man, a girl can dream. I am consoling myself with some fun planning for our first family trip. :woohoo:

Tia - I wish you could go!:guilty: I wish I could go, too, but I just went in August and I am going back in 71 days. If I had booked the October trip and brought DS with me (or took him to my mom in KS) his faltering grades would be even worse so it is good that I am not going.

Amy - Wonderful new pictures!! I can't believe how grown-up Matthew is looking. Such cuties!

I'm sorry that he is struggling so much. It is good that you didn't book for now. Sometimes we make the right decision without knowing why yet.

Wish me luck, everyone! It's book fair today at the kids school. I've been asked to work the cash register this morning, so I'm hoping to get some good Christmas gifts out of the way. Just hope I can keep the amount to a reasonable level!

See ya later!
Good Luck! I will be at Disney for both the Fall & Spring book fairs. I must have save at least $100 per trip with those date selections.:rotfl:

Don't send out a search party - I'm here! ;) I know I sound like a broken record, but things are again at a feverish level - if I can just get through this week at work, though, I'll be able to breathe a little easier.
:wizard: Hope things settle down soon!

I came home yesterday to a dead phone, a dead DSL line, and a near-dead DH.:sad2: He has a NASTY virus and spent the entire day in bed. He still feels bad this morning.

Robyn - I must have been thinking about Bernadette's Emma. She doesn't like to use strange potties.;) I hope Molly is making some progress!:)
:scared1: :wizard: Hope phone & DH are back to normal soon!

Actually MyEmma doesn't like any potties.

Are they worth it? I don't think I'll do it (can I with Lizzy?) but my friends want to try.

Here is Lucy's new slideshow...

Gotta run, Lucy just woke up for her bottle. Have a great day, DDA!!!
OMG...she is so cute!!! Thanks for sharing!!!
