We went up into the mountains today about 1 hour up from us to Palmer Lake. It's a cute little place we've never been to before....Abi wanted trees for her choice of picture taking places. I was happy there were ducks to keep her entertained and smiling during the process.

Deb, those pictures are wonderful that Nick took. I think that he has a good eye for photography. He really caught the details. Congrats on the milestone.

Janet, you have the galloping grunge. That's what my mom always called whatever we had that she couldn't figure out. that the itching goes away!

Sounds like hives.

A week ago Friday while I was at work, my upper back started itching really bad. When I got home & looked, it seemed like I had small bites. Later that night some showed up on my chest & a couple on my upper arm. Since then I keep having one or two pop up in different places. When I 1st feel it, it tingles like I am being pricked with a needle & then it itches like the dickens! They are small red bumps. They are not flea bites(I did think this at 1st, but the cats do not have fleas per the vet & & I am the only one getting whatever this is).

I have not changed laundry detergents, perfume, foods, nothing that I can think of. I have never experienced an allergic reaction before, so I am not sure if this is what is going on. The itching stops within a couple of days & then the bumps go away. I am totally lost as to what is going on & it is really starting to get on my last nerve

Is that going to be an easy fix or do they not know what's causing it?

I really don't know since this happened after he left PA and is having to deal with his brother again. I encouraged him to call the hospital this morning to speak to the nurses' station if he gets no better information from his family.

except me, Heidi! I also like dress #2 better... But we are in the minority. Even Penny popped in to cheer for dress #1!!

I'll take all the that we can get. Nick definitely needs some if he doesn't come home with the right answers tonight. He said it was work that he missed the day that he was out. He had questions and apparently didn't get answers. He said that he tried to take to the teacher but she told him it wasn't the appropriate time. After that I'm sure he forgot about it. Ugh.

The girls look so happy in the photos. It's nice to see real smiles


Janet sometimes viruses can manifest in funky rashes, hopefully that is all it is and it will clear on its own.

I woke up at 5:15 AM. DH is off so he was still in bed. It is hard for me to sleep when he doesn't get up at 2 AM like normal. Then the stupid helicopters came. Lots of them. Right outside. DH got up and went to see what was going on. Carjacking suspect was outside about a block away. He was kind enough to come this way after shooting 3 people, one of them a police officer. Now the highway is shut down, the helicopters are still out there, and the carjacker shot himself. All the traffic they are diverting is coming right into our neighborhood, so I guess I better scoot so I have plenty of time to get to work. Grrr. Lost my last hour of sleep AND now traffic. Happy Monday!

I'm taking Hunter to the doctor's in a few minutes. He still is running a fever and is now complaining that is lungs hurt when he takes a deep breath. Overall he does seem to be acting better today, but I need to make sure that he doesn't get phneumonia again.

Good Morning DDA!

I am now "officially" on Vacation!

I was supposed to work tonight, but with the cooler weather, our orders are down. They did say that if you want to come in to make up the hours, you could come in on Friday. I said " Nooooooo Thank Youuuuuu!, I will be in Disney World!"

So now I have to get busy and finish packing and getting some other things done that I need to do!

I do need to find time to get a little sleep today too. I worked last night, but with all the adrenaline going on now, I don't know if I will be able to.

Bernadette, LOVED all your photos, I can't wait until I can share mine!
