I also wondered the same thing... but why would it be sporadic?

Chiggers usually only go where you have elastic, like along the legs or waistband of your panties or the band of your bra. And they typically only get on you if you sit in the grass. If they are chiggers you can paint the bite with nail polish and the chigger will suffocate.

We went up into the mountains today about 1 hour up from us to Palmer Lake. It's a cute little place we've never been to before....Abi wanted trees for her choice of picture taking places. I was happy there were ducks to keep her entertained and smiling during the process.

...I see this photo and it reminds me imediately of Mrs. Potato Head stuffing Mr. Potato Head with monkeys, angry eyes, spare shoes, and play dough!

Janet - Well, I didn't see anything I needed on Disney Shopping. I am trying not to buy pins that I want to keep, because that's where we got tangled up last time. We spent a ton of money on EvilBay buying pins we wanted instead of buying traders. Now I am bidding low on whatever. I actually got a pin yesterday for a PENNY! The one order I am still adding to is averaging $2.36 per pin, which is just barely more than we would have paid Darlene & Nena. But 1) they are sold out and 2) they have a tendency to send really cool stuff that we want to keep.

It is my absolute intention to stay at WDW from Aug. 2-18 next year. I HOPE DH can get vacation Aug. 2-11, then DS and I will move to Pop and stay another week. If not I guess DS and I will go Aug. 2 and DH will get there Aug. 9 and we'll move to AKL for the end of the trip. DH said we'll need $1000 worth of pins for a trip that long. Hmm. I hope not!

My neighbors just had them and they were everywhere...arms, back, etc.

A week ago Friday while I was at work, my upper back started itching really bad. When I got home & looked, it seemed like I had small bites. Later that night some showed up on my chest & a couple on my upper arm. Since then I keep having one or two pop up in different places. When I 1st feel it, it tingles like I am being pricked with a needle & then it itches like the dickens! They are small red bumps. They are not flea bites(I did think this at 1st, but the cats do not have fleas per the vet & & I am the only one getting whatever this is).

I have not changed laundry detergents, perfume, foods, nothing that I can think of. I have never experienced an allergic reaction before, so I am not sure if this is what is going on. The itching stops within a couple of days & then the bumps go away. I am totally lost as to what is going on & it is really starting to get on my last nerve

sounds like hives. they suck. my doctor said that sometime they just pop up like mine did.

Deb, that Hunter gets better soon.

Thanks to all of you for the Hunter did not have a fever and there are no signs of pneumonia...yet. We will continue to keep an eye on him, but he does seem better today. I even took him to school after the appointment since there was no reason for him not to go. He even had his appetite back. The doctor even offered to take an xray if it would ease my mind, but I said I was ok with her assessment and I would continue to keep an eye on him.

Deb, I'm amused that I'm still so "teacher-defensive," but it's obvious Nick's teacher was using the weekend to get caught up on grading. I hope Hunter gets some good meds and he feels better soon!

I thought the same thing, that she was catching up, but she is a bit confused. The kids did the assignment in class, the day that Nick was not there. She sent me an email saying that she "knows" that Nick completed it as it was done in class, but he didn't turn it in Since he wasn't there I'm thinking that he didn't do it. She says that if he turns it in she will accept it so he will be doing it tonight for sure.

There are so many viruses kicking around it is no wonder that no one is feeling up to par. We are having days in the 80s and nights in the high 30s, how can a body adjust to 50 degree changes in a matter of hours.
