I would warn to read the fine print. A lot of the times they send out what seems like a good deal only if you use it, it automatically enters you into some sort of plan that they will charge a monthly fee for.

Example: One of John's CC sent him a $25 gas voucher, but if he used it, they automatically signed him up for some gas program and would charge $60 a month. He never used the voucher, but still had to call and have them remove the charge that he never authorised.
I got a $15 Disney Gift Card from the Disney Visa people. Does anyone know why? It is a fairly new account, but I don't remember there being any perks to getting it when I applied. It says something about an Enterprise Award. Mean anything to anyone?

Hope Johnathan is feeling better soon, and that you don't get sick. :wizard:

I'm going to say goodnight. Jonathan is sick, and we both need a good night's sleep so he can get better, and I can try to avoid it. See you guys in the a.m.! :cloud9:

What!?! :confused3 no milestone yet?
Your all slipping. :rolleyes1

Well Becky said that her flight is at 8, so they should be loading. (of course my computer time reads 7:45, while the DIS clock reads 7:19) :wizard: that there is no delays.

Lindsay, hope mom doesn't start preaching about the drinking.

Heck if you could see my computer room, you would think John and I were a couple of drunks. With my mom and sister buying a house up here, all small things that can be packed now, are being stored at our place. Well she visited the local liquor store for boxes.

Um...Owen gets into the car today and Shane starts telling me that he heard that Owen got detention. Yeah...it's true. Owen lost his recess for five minutes for not sitting in his seat. Owen's explanation?

"Ms. Moody only gave me one chance mom. One chance. Then she just gave me a yellow slip. But, I didn't get a red slip. That bad girl got a red slip. That's really bad. At least I only got a yellow slip."

:sad2: :sad2: :sad2: :sad2: :sad2: :sad2: :sad2: :sad2: :sad2: :sad2:

This had me laughing!
Leighanna got a 5 min. time out in school the other day. She said it wasn't her fault.
Apparently the teacher was asking the class a question, and was calling on students that had their hands raised.
The teacher picked one student who gave the wrong answer.
Well, Leighanna knew the correct answer and yelled it out.
Leighanna said she was in time out for 5 hours!, actually it was only 5 minutes.;)
I guess 5 mins. to a 5yr. old could feel like 5 hours!:rotfl:

So she got into trouble for participating? Maybe she didn't raise her hand, but heck at least she participated.

If I would have tried to participate and got into trouble for it, that would have been the last time I ever tried to participate. Of course I never did raise my hand and the teachers left me alone. (well except in English when we had to read a book out loud, I always raised my hand for that.)

Good morning, DDA!

DS used to tell me things like that when he was younger. They had "magnets" that would be moved from the green zone down to yellow, then red. If he was in trouble I would always hear about the kids who got in MORE trouble. DS came hom yesterday and announced that he has now LOST his planner.:sad2: DH told him to take a dollar (DS's money, not ours) and buy another one. That will get expensive if he loses them at the rate of one every week!

No clue. Don't look a gift horse in the mouth.;)

I will have to see if our PO has these!

Don't stand in line for 20 minutes.:)

Children are so much fun :rotfl:

Hmm. Maybe YOUR children...:rolleyes1

and Mia is a Disney name....from Princess Diaries. :goodvibes It fits her.

Very cute!:thumbsup2

I am sure some of you can relate to this:

my job has me so stressed that I am stuffing my face with food....even when I am not hungry. I would love to be on even keel again sometime!!

Eek! OK, maybe a little investiagting would be wise.

Hope Johnathan is feeling better soon, and that you don't get sick. :wizard:

Ditto! Lindsay, did you ever claim your prize from Sunshine? I didn't notice the part about traveling to Disney from Dec. 8-12. Oops. That would tag on nicely to us being there Dec. 12-16, wouldn't it?:rolleyes1 It would also require some serious juggling from DH. Oh, well. I'll cross that bridge when I come to it!:rotfl2:

Princess has "meet the teacher" today. Guess I should get dressed!

Lindsay -- I hope Jonathan is better today. When do you leave for the game? I'm afraid it might not be a pretty ending.... My brother and SIL are TCU grads and I'll never hear the end of it if they beat us...

Elizabeth -- Andrew almost got an oops (the step before a detention) because Randy forgot to sign his binder. At Shelton, the kids have "Contracts" they have to fulfill each day, then they have homework assignment sheets that parents have to sign off on -- especially for the 20 minutes of reading each night. Since all the kids have some sort of learning difference, it works well to keep this system. It's much easier on parents, too! I called Randy at work about it yesterday, as Andrew's excuse was "I told Dad to remind you to sign it." Now mind you, I hadn't been around that evening because I was in Rockwall getting my hair trimmed/roots done, so Randy was doing homework with them. Andrew did remind Randy as he was tucking him in that night, and Randy did forget. Randy wrote a letter last night taking full responsibility, and reminding the teacher that ADHD is genetic. His last sentence was, "Guess who my kids got their ADHD from?" I hope she found the humor in it! :)

Have a great day, DDA!

Good morning!

Tom - your latest creation is darling.

Lindsay - I hope Jonathan is feeling better and that you stay healthy.

Kim - Owen is just too funny. Does he get his personality from Ken? ;)

Becky - I know I missed you but I hope you have a wonderful vacation!

Janet - Any name yet for Baby?

Robyn - congratulations on the vacation!

I hope I didn't forget anyone.
