Did you notice any photos that you wanted me to add more borders to?

I think I'll give the photopass folks a few days to find my Leo pictures before I order the CD so if you want me to add any more let me know.

They all look great, thanks! I can't imagine adding anything else. I also wouldn't want to irritate the PhotoPass gods - the pics might go away and never come back!:rotfl2:

Speaking of things that are never coming back, I thought the boards were never coming back! That was quite a crash!

I am having crummy luck with airfare. I even came up with another plan, which was to fly with DS to Kansas City, leave him there with my mom, fly to Orlando out of KC, then go back to KC to get DS and come home. Believe it or not, IF the cheap fares weren't sold out that would have been a fabulous plan! We could have done all of it for under $400. DS could have had a lovely visit with Grandma, I could have gone to the DDA meet "kidless" like everyone else, but the cheap fares are all gone.:sad2: I haven't given up yet, but I am thinking it's not going to work.

Don't give up hope Elizabeth, there is still time!

I was going through Dis withdrawal!!!

YIPPIE on preschool for Molly. Also that the teachers thoughts are right on!

Thank goodness! I was worried it was just me. I was thinking that maybe the DIS had been banned from my work computer! :scared1: :rotfl:

Kristine I have been thinking about you. Hope you are doing well

Me, too!

Hope everyone is having good days, even though they've been "DIS"-less!

Hi! I missed you guys today! How dare they take the DIS down?:scared1:

Anne Marie - Glad the girls had a good day today! :wizard: Lots of good wishes for Daniel tomorrow! I know he is going to have a terrific year!:goodvibes

Lindsay - The DIS wouldn't work for me at home or at work but all the other sites would, so I knew it wasn't just me.:)

Hope everyone's day is going well!

I am going to be superbusy this weekend. I have a school picnic to do tonight (my DGD insisted that I make Gylnis's pot roast.. yum) Friday I'm going to babysit DGS 1.5 while his parents go to a ballgame.:goodvibes Saturday is a day of caring...:goodvibes I'm booked.

So :wizard: and :grouphug: for all in need. And....

43 days people 43 days!!

Well, just when DS starts to get a handle on things they juggle him all around!

They changed him to that other math teacher, but now his math and reading classes have switched places. So he has a new math and a new reading teacher. The math teacher walked down to the couselor's office with DS today to help him get his schedule sorted out, then the counselor pulled him out of band later in the day because they didn't realize he had straightened it out earlier. Do those people not talk to each other?:confused3 I guess the teachers planned to switch him, but then they missed telling him math is 3rd period now and reading is 4th. I forgot to ask him if that changes his lunch. He basically went to reading twice today and never had a math class. Hopefully they will get it all settled by the end of this week so next week he can have some normalcy!

So sorry for all you guys with DDA withdrawal today but I'm excited about being able to get caught up to date AND go to bed early tonight. I was up WAY too late last night and I've got so much work to do that I really need my sleep.

I've been lazy this week-end. I just couldn't get myself motivated. I'm surprised that Chuck hasn't gotten upset with me. I pretty much just sat and watched TV all day. There was a marathon of The Closer today.
Sounds like exactly what you needed!

I have been pondering over my ADR's for our trip. I have a couple that I am unsure of! I was on hold with Disney Dining FOREVER and finally gave up! I will try again tomorrow. It is probably too late to change anything, and I don't know if everything is all booked up or not, but knowing that I tried will ease my mind.
Tom-My CP ADR before P&PP was 5:15. We probably got there a few minutes early. My first photo inside (after a short wait) was at 5:26 and my first photo outside after a non rushed meal was at 6:39. I think if you show up a bit early you'll be fine. The food at the CP is always really great!

Has anyone come up with any matching shirts for the October trip? I know there was talk about wearing matching ones for one or more of the meals.

Terry & Stephanie, I think we need to match for the F&WF on Sunday. Chuck is game as long as it isn't too feminine.
Sounds like something Emma would say only she'd use "girly".:lmao:

I wouldn't tell her. The fire Dept will just say that they got a call so she will not know who called.
I am really hoping the police just pretended that they were just driving by (they do often just drive by) and saw the fire. I don't see the need for them to have said anyone called. DH thinks they will be fined for a non permited fire. I think they probably should be. This August had seen the least amount of rain since 1833 and those recordings are from Logan Airport and they have had a few more storms than we had.

I have 3 days of work and I leave Friday.

Tomorrow I will probably not get home till 10-11pm as I have 2 Service Unit meetings. I am trying to get in 28 hours of work in 3 days, although I worked more then 35 hours last week.. As I do not have vacation time at my job yet, I am trying to only have the 2 weeks without pay. Although I will still have vacation pay from Goldtoe as I hadn't received it yet.

I have things scattered everywhere to pack, but have not done so yet. I still have this fear someone is going to tell me nope you can't go or something is going to happen and I won't get to. Not sure why but that is my mindset right now.:confused3 :confused3 I am hoping my fear doesn't come true.

Please keep my great Aunt in your thoughts she has surgery tomorrow.
:wizard: Prayers for your Aunt.

Now you must be down to just about 1 day. Have the best trip!!!!

Tom - Tammi is right - the food at Sci Fi is marginal at best. When we went in February DH sat behind me and I sat with DS. I had to turn completely backwards to talk to DH. DS LOVES old movies (Godzilla, King Kong, Mothra, whatever) so he thinks the movie clips are the best thing EVER. I don't imagine Leighanna is into that sort of thing, so you could probably skip it.;)
Emma LOVES it! But Emma is not a little princess. ;) Joe and Lizzy enjoy it too. DH seemed to enjoy eating in the peace and quiet of the back seat by himself.:rotfl: We tend to stick to burgers and have done fine. They don't have burgers at dinner so I don't think we'd go for dinner.

Adian update:
Thanks for the updates. Continued prayers for Adian, Mac & family.

Depending on the time of year, I would love a few days at the shore. My DD says the Outer Banks is about a 8 hour drive from here. I just love Cape May, very quaint shops and just awesome restaurants.
That would work for me!!!!:thumbsup2 AND.....I've never really been a few 1/2 day trips but never really explored any of the cape other than Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard.

Bernadette -- aren't there any "no burning" laws in your area? Around here we have had a ban on burning because it has bee so dry. If that ban is in place, there should have been no reason NOT to call! I would not worry about it. I think you had a reason to be concerned.
Yes! That is why DH thinks she'll be fined.

Did anyone else wake up thinking of June this morning? :(
:sad1:

You know I just couldn't do the Goofy Statue picture this past trip. I did think of June everytime I walked by it but I couldn't do the photo. I'll try again in November. My friend Dorinda will be able to get me in a better frame of mind for the photo but then again she's not real great with the camera. Her DH Ralph is an audio/visual guy for seminars so I guess he should take the photo.

I hate to say it, but I probably won't be around too much in the next week or so. With preschool starting in less than a week, I have a lot to still get done over there. The first couple of weeks will be hectic, I'm sure.

Beth
:wizard: Hope things go well for you and you get everything your hoping to complete done!!!

Here's the last picture that I took at our trip to Disney. I saw the bench and ran over to it and plopped the boys down thinking that it would be a great picture. That was before I realized what the significance of the bench was. :goodvibes

GoofyBench.jpg

Although I didn't know June, she was obviously loved. :flower3:
What a great photo!!!!

The boys got off the bus today pretty upset. It appears that the bus driver is letting the older kids pick whatever seat they want and they can make the younger kids move  Nick was in the back of the bus doing his homework when an older student got on and made him move. I think that is absolutely ridiculous and I will be discussing this with the Principal in the morning. The school is already closed when they get home. As far as I know seating has always been first come first serve. Has bus etiquette changed?
 In our town the kids have to sort of sit by grade-the K's only in the first 4 rows, the 1st graders in the first 10 rows, the 2nd graders anywhere...

We didn't take that many pics - maybe 120 or so.:confused3
WHAT?????Why didn't Jody take more to learn how to get the most out of his point & shoot before upgrading to a dSLR?:rotfl:

Guess what the kids got in the mail today...

Postcards from their favorite characters. Colby is still carrying his around the house :rotfl: :rotfl: I'm sure one of my bestest DDA friends sent them so thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Deb
Donald Duck was the hardest to find but we did nab him in Mexico with Jose. That Jose was trouble-he tried to tell me that he was #1. I told him I wouldn't listen to any of that.:lmao:

:grouphug: Jen, if there is anything at all that i can do, please don't hesitate to ask. I'm here to talk or even if ya just need a shoulder to let it out on .. i know how hard it is to try to keep a strong face for everyone around you while you're in so much pain and afraid to let anyone see it.
While my dad was going back and forth to S-K he wouldbe there for a week of continuous treatment then he would be home for 3 weeks , the first week was the worst, the second not so bad and the third he was back to himself just in time to go back and start all over again .. my aunt had planned an early graduation trip for my cousin and i , i was going into my seniour year of high school and her daughter ( we were raised like sisters not cousins) was going into 8th grade .. we were in WDW a week before my dad's second treatment and he HATED "it's a small wold" he thought it was the. most. annoying. song. ever. so my wise butt saved up some money and what did i buy him while i was there .. the watch that played it's a small world .. needless to say he took the watch with him for his next treatment and when ever he felt the treatment was getting to be too much for him he would hit the button .. when he came home the following week he was in better spirits then he was after his first treatment and he said it was because when ever he played the watch he would smile and get a little giggle out of it .. before he went back for his next treatment we already had to replace the battery .. but he did exactly the same thing played it when he needed it most .. after my dad passed away i told my mom i wanted to put the watch in his casket .. she told me know .. and put it away .. when I had my son my mom brought the watch with her to the hospital and said to me " this is why i didn't want you to put it in the casket, your son will now have his grandfather's watch and you can tell him the story behind it" ( everytime i think about that watch i think of the circle of life from the lion king .. and it all really does come full circle ..:grouphug:

:grouphug:

That would work for me!!!!:thumbsup2 AND.....I've never really been a few 1/2 day trips but never really explored any of the cape other than Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard.

:rotfl: I just noticed you didn't say Cape Cod. I think you all should put Cape Cod on the beach destination list!:rotfl:

Thank goodness! I was worried it was just me. I was thinking that maybe the DIS had been banned from my work computer! :scared1: :rotfl:
I was thinking the exact same thing!
