Kim love the scrapbook pages!

Anne Marie another great installment of your TR :thumbsup2

Heidi :scared1: Glad the bear was scared away!

I love to scrapbook. I wish I had more time.

Anyway, with all the talk about kids and the such, one of my friends asked me to send her pics of the pages that I've done for my kids that show their writing, drawing or self portraits. I love to document things that they do and try to incorporate their writing and drawings into my pages.

The one page of Owen with the school buses was an "Owen original". :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I'll pay you to do mine! Those are wonderful and something you will cherish throughout the years. I am about 2 years behind in my scrapbooking. I never thought to have the kids do things for it. It really personalizes it. Mine are just photos and me journaling. What do you do about making their stuff acid free?

Kim :thumbsup2

I never (Stephanie don't hate me, ok?) got into scrap booking. Seems a little to tedious to me.

And with that I bid good night. pixiedust: and :grouphug: to all.

8/31
Our last day at Disney! We had our last breakfast at concierge & said goodbye to our lovely room.
IMG_1175.jpg

We were not happy. We checked our bags at airline check in & went off to Epcot for a few hours. We had to be ready for ME by 5:40pm so we figured we’d make the most of our day.
IMG_1177.jpg

We went right over to character connection so we could fill up our photo pass CD. I purchased it before we left so I wanted to make sure we got as many pictures as we could. I love photo pass & hope they will have all the ride photos linked to it. Right now only Test Track is linked. (that we knew of). The wait was around 10 minutes at character connection which was way better than the 60 minutes we had encountered during out trip. We got to take pictures with Chip & Dale, Minnie, Mickey, Pluto, & Goofy.

Katie found quite a few hidden Mickey’s here as well.

We rode both Soarin...

& Test Track & then went up to WS. We saw the movie in China & bumped into Mulan our way out.

My little dragon.

Another hidden Mickey at the China pavilion.

We took a leisurely pace & then it started to pour. Unfortunately I packed our ponchos & the sky wasn‘t letting up so we had to buy 5 more ponchos to get around.($33!). Dana had some time to sample some German wine while the kids & I looked at the Christmas shop in Germany. The last character we saw was Jasmine & the Genie. Sophie loves Jasmine & since she wasn’t at Akershus she was thrilled to see her in Morocco.

Well now it was time to go & we said goodbye to Epcot :sad1: & made our way to the ME bus. I said goodbye everyone at the BC & the BC itself:sad1: :sad1: :sad1: . I can't imagine we could be treated better anywhere else & thats what makes us want to return.:wizard:

Nothing more to report after that except that we had such a late flight coming home. The kids were falling asleep (& so was I). Everyone complained they didn’t feel well . Katie had a slight fever, Daniel was coughing, & Sophie said she was going to throw up.:scared: We didn’t get home until 1am. Next time I will book an earlier flight home. Took us all a few days to recover but we can’t wait to go back & do it all again!

I would do yours for free if I had the time. :goodvibes

I've been sb'ing for a long time and have learned that you don't have to scrapbook every single picture. That helps keep it under control somewhat. Of course, I have to stop taking so many freaking pictures. That's my problem!

I'd love to hold a sb'ing party (not a sales party) so people could come over and just get caught up on their stuff. Interested?

I'm actually about two years behind too. I make small scrapbooks for people for presents and it's taking up all of my extra time. I just can't help it. I love to bring :wizard: to people through the photos.

I use Archival Mist spray to deacidify the regular pages. I always spray both sides and back it onto a piece of cardstock. You can get it at Michaels. They just started carrying it. It's pretty expensive but if you get a 40% coupon, it makes it somewhat affordable.

Anne Marie - Your TR was fabulous. You've made me want to stay at the Beach Club next time!

My Dinosaurs DVD, seasons 3 and 4 came yesterday, so I watch some of them today.
I wonder if Emma would like that show. I bet she'd think it was pretty funny.

Glad the bear was easily scared away!

Kim-awesome scrapbook pages!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anne Marie-I loved your TR! Loved all your photos! Loved all your T's! We were at the LOEMH on 8/29-I'm surprised we didn't see you. We weren't there at 8am but around 8:30.

Didn't I say I was going to bed early? Goodnight all!!!

I would be interested but you'd need to give me a lot of notice. It'd take me months to get organized and ready to start again. My problem is I feel like I have to put all pictures in. How do you choose?? :confused3

Well, John just went to step outside to have a smoke and he meet with a bear, tearing into our garbage can. :scared1: Lucky for him the bear was scared and ran off.

Anne Marie another great installment of your TR :thumbsup2
Thank you.

This is the same Peter Pan and Wendy that we had on our Family Magic Tour. They were wonderful! I hope you had good interaction with them too.
They were great with the kids.

I can't say enough good things about it. :cloud9: :cloud9: :cloud9:

:sad2: I can't believe it, we were there at rope drop til 10am when we went to TT! Sorry we missed you! Did you notice that it was more crowded than last years LOEMH? (no bad, just more popular than last year) I guess the word got out!:)

Elin - I thought you would appreciate this. Alyssa had music today for special. She was all proud of herself because she (and all the others) got to play some musical instrument. She described it to me but I have no idea what it is. Anyway they sang songs and such and she told me that when class was over she got to play on the teacher's piano. Apparently only a few were selected to do this. Do you know Mrs. Montrief? She lives in our subdivision. Anyway, she told me she played Itsy Bitsy Spider. I asked her how she knew how to play it and she told me, imagine her voice here, "I just heard the music in my head and it just came out." :rotfl: I immediately thought you would get a kick out of that!

Heather, that was a beautiful thing that your mom did for you. That she was able to see so clearly in her own grief was amazing. :goodvibes

Robyn...good luck on preschool! I'm sure that Molly will be fine. :wizard:

Steffy, have fun with your grandchild.

Kristine, we're all thinking positive thoughts for you and Bill.

Jen, hope that your first couple of days went well with teaching and am sending lots of :wizard: for your grandfather. :goodvibes

Anne Marie, loving your TR. How in the world do you have time to do it?! It's like I was almost there with you. :thumbsup2

Thanks for all the nice comments for my scrapbook pages. I hope that they give ya'll ideas on things that you can do with your kids writings and drawings. :goodvibes

I can give lots of notice! ;)

It's like eating an elephant. One bite at a time. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I never sit down and do a page or group of pages in one setting. I am a sorter. I gather the pictures that I want to use first and set them aside. Then I select the paper, embellishments or whatever else that I think that I'm going to use. 10 minutes here. 10 minutes there. Sorting the pictures is the hardest. You've just got to whittle them down and select the one or few that truly represent what you're wanting to SB. Sometimes it's just one picture. Blow it up to a 5x7 and use some supporting pictures.

If I have a lot of pictures, I'll make an envelope or a pocket of some sort and put them in there either on the page itself or on the back. (The back will only work if you use top loading albums. It won't work on the CM pages.)

Some pictures I just don't sb until I'm ready. I've got things that are two and three years old because I just can't figure out what to do. So I wait until the inspiration hits me. Like the one that I posted with Shane and Ken having identical boo-boos. That was perfect with Shane's story. :)

I think it was just more crowded overall this year. I'm getting worried about my November-Veteran's Day Weekend trip. It will be a lot easier with just one kid-and the oldest!

We left MK around 10:30 for a 10:50 ADR at OHana. From there we walked to the TTC and waited for a ride to Epcot with the monorail driver. We pretty much just walked through Epcot but got lots of photopass photos taken. We did go to France and waited to see Marie from Aristocats. Then we walked to the BC and then took the boat to MGM. We saw the parade and did some character greets with Buzz & Woody but no photopass because it was raining. Then we hit the animation courtyard for the characters there-Little Einsteins, JoJo, Incredibles and Remy. Then we asked when the next drawing class was and they let us right in. Lizzy did great drawing Daisy Duck and Gene's was really great! I'll have to take photos of their drawings. Then back to the resort. We took the boat to DTD and had CS dinner at Cookes of Dublin. The food was great but DTD was SOOOOOOOOOO crowded (worse crowds of the trip). I really thought I would loose another child.:scared1: We didn't go in any store it was so crazy. Then back to the room to pack.

A busy day on 8/29 but I really LOVED it!!!!!

OK I really must go to bed NOW!!!!!!!

Wow. You got a lot more out of Alyssa than Owen or Shane have told me all week. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: The only thing that I got out of Owen was that Mrs. King was arguing with him (not the other way around) that he had to go to the potty and wash his hands. :rotfl2:
