Well, yesterday I did some grocery shopping and weeded my little garden and went shopping. I also gave myself a manicure and pedicure! Then Kathrin called and asked if I wanted to meet her and Kristin today at Short Pump Center in Richmond for a day of shopping and lunch. After much deliberation and sacrifice on my part I decided to head on down.
I have gotten a couple pair of really nice plaid or striped bermudas and gauchos in the past few days and I have lots of tops to stretch my work and casual wardrobe through the rest of the fall now, I think. Today I got a pair of Mary Jane
crocs in brown and two very good cardigans to wear with my remaning pair of black dress pants and skirt.
Then I went to Coldwater Creek. Let me warn you... they have changed their sizing and I had a horrible time until one of the clerks there explained that to me. I could not, for the life of me, figure out why I needed a larger sized pant! Turns out, everyone does.

Let me say, although I really enjoy being able to say I can wear a misses sized pant I am not hung up on sizes so it does not bother me that I needed to go back up a size. It just took me about 45 minutes to get it right! Then I decided not to buy any more pants or skirts anyway! I ended up buying two tops to go with my ubiquitous black and brown slacks/skirts/gauchos so I ought to be able to dress up for concerts and recitals for the next few months too.
What did you and the kids do today?
