Hyperion....Emporium.....same thing. Brain fart. :rotfl2: Does 1030 work for you? Or do you want to meet in the afternoon? Are your lessons at the studio or at home?

I figured you knew a new place! :goodvibes

10:30 is great for me as my lessons are downtown. See you then. Will Alyssa be there too?

It opens at 8, but it looks like people are just starting to arrive. The ambulance did not take anyone so that is good! The car has been towed, so now there is just a big hole in the building. Poor lady, I know it had to of scared her half to death. Naturally the newspaper was other their snapping away

Oh no. I hope nobody inside was hurt. Maybe it's early enough that it wasn't open yet? :confused3

Yes, she will. I can't talk her into staying home! ;)

Well I best get into the shower. See you in a bit, Elin, and see the rest of you later!

So I had actually multi quoted as I was reading along and then my laptop went wonky and I lost it all. Just my luck!

A few things that I can remember but it ain't much

Elizabeth~ :cool1: Congrats to your DS! Sorry Momboss is making things so difficult for you.

Janet~ Hope Riley isn't too sore

Jen~ Welcome home. Loving the pics! Can't wait to read your trip report!

Deb~ My advice on the neighbor thing is to just keep your distance. It's a good thing that you've talked to the boys so they know what to do. We have made it clear to Emma that unfortunately just about all the kids on our street, with my 3 there are 28 total, are ones she needs to not get involved with. After having an awful experience with a former neighbor I have learned just to wave and say hi but not get involved with anyone. It's sad but you just never know.

Elin and Tammi~ Enjoy your girl time today! Wish I was closer:goodvibes

Amy~ :cheer2: Way to go Alyssa!! Molly isn't there yet on the potty training but I think I am making headway. We told her that when Lucy comes she will need to give her diapers to her along with her crib. She seems ok with it now. Hopefully it will work!!

That's about all I can remember off the top of my head, sending out 's and :wizard: to all.

The recital last night was just wonderful. Our kids played beautifully and the reception afterward was well attended AND people stayed to clean up (thought Deb would appreciate that). Today is a normal teaching day with no recitals, so I am off to do lesson plans.

I am waiting to hear from Tammi about what we might try to do today! :)

It must be southern manners that are lacking around here

Quick synopsis on spring in the Hardman household:

--3 trips to Kings Island
--2 trips to the zoo
--countless trips to the park
--first trip "home" (Old Key West) booked for December 1-8
--Matthew is crawling and creeping all over the place (he even attempted the stairs this morning :scared: )
--Alyssa is 95% potty-trained and loves public bathrooms
--Kevin is unopposed (again) in the fall election
--Party planning is underway for a big celebration on 07/07/07
--we're attending a family reunion in Canaan Valley, WV from 6/30-7/3
--I'm never, ever going to catch up on the laundry

That's all I can think of right now. :)

Welcome home. Which resort did you buy into?

Good morning, DDA!

We are very proud of DS! I need to go get him some Disney $ today. I have been really slacking on the $ - I need to get caught up so he has some money for the trip. If I give him "normal" money he spends through it here at home.
I am hoping that by warning my new bosses that they may be approached about extending my start date that they feel comfortable saying "No", because MY answer was "No" and that's the end of it.

I hope she passed!:wizard:

Jen, you look great!! I love all the pics, and the shirt and hat are too cute!

Hi, Amy! Sounds like things are busy there, but sounds like "fun" busy!:)

Have a great day, everyone!!

I would hope that your current employer would not contact your future employer. It is NONE of their business. You get to decided who you work for and when. I would be very upset with them if they go behind your back.

I cannot believe how many of your kids are already out of school, or almost so! Our schools are in session through mid June here!

Hope all our sports stars do well at their games today and that the weather is cooperative. :cheer2:

Our kids get out on June 15th. I think Nick said they have 15 school days left.
It opens at 8, but it looks like people are just starting to arrive. The ambulance did not take anyone so that is good! The car has been towed, so now there is just a big hole in the building. Poor lady, I know it had to of scared her half to death. Naturally the newspaper was other their snapping away

I'm glad no one was hurt. The lady probably hit the accelerater instead of the breaks. That happens pretty frequently.

Andrew has his awards ceremony at 1:30 today, then both boys are out of school. We have more rain in the forecast, but so far this week, they've just been short showers/thunderstorms. Hopefully it will all hold off today until after the games tonight.

Have a good day everyone!

Fingers crossed that rain stays away.

Good morning, DDA!
I am hoping that by warning my new bosses that they may be approached about extending my start date that they feel comfortable saying "No", because MY answer was "No" and that's the end of it.

Have a great day, everyone!!

Hope you have a great day today with no issues.

Morning DDA!!! Just popping in to say hi!!

 Chanon

OMG! I just heard screeching tires & a loud crash. There is a beauty salon across the street from me & an older lady just drove her car into the side of the building :scared1: Her car is sitting halfway inside! I here the sirens now.

The lady did get out of the car, so hopefully she is ok & everyone that was inside. I gotta go outside & see.

That's scary. I can remember when I was little I saw a car that had driven through a Dunkin Donuts. No one was killed but there were a lot of injuries. The worse was a young girl who lost both her legs. Glad she doesn't seem hurt and that no one else was.

We don't get out until June 15!

That's our last day too. We have 1/2 days from Tuesday to Friday. My niece doesn't get out until Tuesday.

We got a new mini van, a Toyota Sienna, last night. :cool1: Unfortunately I have only driven it around the block thus far. Eric didn't get home until 10:30 and didn't feel like moving all the car seats around.

Emma's school had their Spring book fair last night. Buy one get one free! We got 6 books for $13. Not bad at all. But I would loved to have gotten more but the selection wasn't all that great.

Tonight is a fundraiser night for school at the local ice cream place.:woohoo: I get to enjoy it with out feeling guilty that I'm eating like 2,000 calories.

This weekend will be spent getting the stuff we need for Emma and Molly's room as well as finishing Lucy's room. Joe, my cousin from Dallas, comes in tomorrow night. :yay: Can't wait to see him. We are having a cookout on Sunday. He will be here until Monday when he leaves for NY to go on the QE2 for a week. His roommate works on various cruises doing comedy shows and got a steal on this one, $300 for the week. If I wasn't pregnant I'd be there in a heartbeat.

I hope everyone has a great weekend. Don't know if I'll get on much but know I'm thinking about you all!

I did read along... every post! But I did not take very good notes, I am afraid. Let's see...

Jennifer - feel better. Is your BP OK? Sounds like the OB could be looking for pre-eclampsia?

Elizabeth - I think you should start a countdown to getting away from MomBoss!

Deb - I understand your concerns. I think the talk you had with the boys is just perfect.

Becky - you were busy (as usual) the past couple of days. Well done!

I hope I didn't miss anyone. I am off to bed tonight. See you all in the a.m.
my B/P with a migraine was 110/71, at the office it was 100/62. so no preeclampisa

Oh my! No this accident thankfully was not that bad.

Congratulations on your new vehicle!

Sounds like a very busy weekend for you. I will be working  Sunday I have a graduation party to go to for my nephews gf & then Gary & I are going to go listen to some bands & eat BBQ :thumbsup2 We were going to go over to mil's Monday for a cookout, but Riley has a game & the coach wants them there by 4pm :sad2: By the time I get done at work, it will be time to take Riley to his game. I really do not understand why they schedule games on a holiday :confused3
