I could use some help please

Riley's class is going to have debates on different subjects & the teacher chose which subject they would debate. Well lucky Riley(I am being sarcastic)gets to debate why a women should not be president. I will help him with the research but was hoping maybe some of you might give me some cons as to why a women should not be president? He will be debating against a girl in his room who will be stating why a women should be voted in, this should be interesting.

I think I might know what happened to Kristine.

I was checking out some new designs from Patnl34 and Kristine quoted a design and stated that it looked vaguely familiar.

I am thinking they are taking her designs and changing them a little and then calling them their own.

This is going to be a never-ending problem. That's a shame.

...and I know what you're going through with introducing new cats to a household! When Bob moved in he brought his two, and I had my two. Annabelle does NOT get along with his at all...

What a SUCKY topic! I am really sorry!

The only reason I can think of is that so many other countries are run by men, and those cultures view women as subservient so they might not cooperate with a woman. (Of course there are plenty of other countries run by women, and they seem to be managing just FINE, so it isn't a very strong arguement.) The teacher really messed up with this one - she set Riley up to fail because there isn't a way to win this. You would think she would have assigned topics where there really are valid points on BOTH sides.

I wish the teacher would have given the girl the negative and Riley the positive! That would have been more interesting!

Obviously we're supposed to keep religion out of school these days but there are quite a few biblical quotes that backs up his argument. Off the top of my head, in Genesis 1, God says to Adam to fill the earth and rule over it and Genesis 2 tells how God made woman to be man’s companion.

I used to teach speech, so please PM me if you want some pointers for him. The most important thing is for him to be prepared, memorized (if necessary) and dressed to win!

Ug. The AP rates were release today for 7/01/07 - 8/04/07 code FDI. The DVC rates were included in this release so i thought I might be able to save us a little running around and book nights at the same DVC resorts using the passholder rate. Turns out that I can book 5 people in a DVC 1 bedroom through the DVC Member Services, but CRO can only book 4 in a room The CRO agent was aware that DVC books 5 in a 1 bedroom, but her hands are tied. That means we cannot book a 1 bedroom using the AP rate as Member Services cannot apply it. It's a catch 22. Then I checked the AP rate for POR for our first night (Chanon has booked it for us using the AAA rate) turns out that night is sold out so no saving there either. Our last weekend is out of the window so Our reservations will have to stay as originally booked.

The good news is that we are still going to WDW for 22 days and I have it all budgeted out as origianally booked so nothing is lost there.

Maybe someone else here will be able to take advantage.

Deb - Sorry the rates didn't work out for your trip. That's a bummer. but like you said, you're still going for 3 WEEKS!

I just spoke to a terrific mom about a nanny job, but I have a feeling I am too expensive for them. The nanny they have now didn't have any nanny experience when they hired her, so I can't imagine that she is making top market salary. This sounds like a fabulous job so maybe we can still work something out. I might be able to come down a tiny bit on salary, but we'll have to see what they come back with. The mom is going to chat with the dad and see what he says. That's usually where things fall apart.

Deb - have you called Member Services, and asked if they can extend you a discounted cash rate for those nights you're looking for? I was able to do this for some of our family that are going to stay one extra night in December, and this way they don't have to change resorts or rooms (MS just links the reservations). If there's availability, it's typically 25% off rack rate. You don't even have to put down a deposit - it's payable upon arrival!
