HI everyone!

just booked out very first Disney Cruise

So if any of you can answer these questions I would greatly appreciate it...

1. if you fly in the night before...what hotel do you stay at near the port?

2. has anyone used a different transportation company besides Disney to get me to that hotel the first night...and then back to Disney World after the cruise?

I just booked our first cruise a few weeks ago so I am no help but I just wanted to say !!!!

Now I need them for me to feel better by tonight....I can't hear out of one ear it's so stuffed up and my throat hurts and Jimmy booked a beautiful room for our anniversary in Manitou Springs (where all the snow is coming down right now).

I've used Tiffany for transfers to WDW - and they were great. Clients have used Happy Limo and Tiffany, both with success. Just offering a suggestion that I hope might help!

I feel like I am always whining lately....how about something not whiny....I have lost 8 lbs. because I can't eat!!

Lindsay -- have fun this weekend. I hope it goes better than expected. Happy early birthday to Jonathan! Are you leaving today? Be careful if so. These storms they are predicting sound brutal!

Elizabeth -- good luck on your interviews! You also take care today/tonight! It sounds like the worst of the storms will hit when I'm going to/at/or driving from the doctor's office. Andrew and Jake have check-ups with the behavioral pediatric specialist who tested them for ADHD.

I wish it would rain enough tonight that Andrew's baseball game tonight is cancelled and his soccer game in the morning as well. (That way, his team has more time to practice before they play the opponent for tonight, and then he wouldn't miss his soccer game in the morning.) Of course, I don't want it to rain in Mineola, because he has a tournament there this weekend, and I don't want it to be rescheduled. Selective rain is what I want!

Lots of birthdays coming up! Sunday starts a mini "celebration season" in our family. Sunday is Matthew's 16th birthday and my nephews 17th. Then we have a niece's birthday on May 3rd. My brother will be 40 on May 12th. Mother's Day is May 13th. My aunt's birthday is May 15th, and Miles' birthday is May 16th. My birthday is the 18th, and another niece has a birthday on May 23rd. Finally, May 28th is our anniversary. Then we're done until August...

Congrats!! What cruise & when are you going?

I'm excited...I just found out that the town car service we used in December also makes the trip to DCL...I really liked these guys...and the price sounds pretty good to me!

But this fare is in May and June, not April. Besides, all my other daughters are looking forward to spending Heidi's birthday with her at WDW.

Don't forget that it is my birthday too!!! I'd be willing to share my special birthday ADR with Heidi though so that's a savings right there.

We were at a 5th grade parents meeting last night (we will not go into the fact that I will have a middle schooler soon. ) when I realized we hadn't heard....I had Jim call Jane....from what he understood of what he heard...they've accepted our bid with one minor change.

Now all we have to do is wait for the loan approval!! I want to hear today so we can not only celebrate our anniversary but the fact that we will be home owners!!

Tammi~ Housing prices are crazy here, our duplex appraised for $260K, thankfully we paid no where near that, and one of our neighbors had his on the market for $369K. It just sold but I haven't yet found out exactly what for. Crazy!! That is why we want out of here in a bad way.
