Enjoying the quiet for once as I don't think that anyone is coming over. Also, probably cleaning our room. 3 people living in one room with most of our everyday living stuff gets pretty messy pretty quick. Especially when my DH's idea of clearing the bed after he and Terra play is to just shove it all on the floor. :scared: Who knows what I'll find up there. Too bad I don't think there is any money hidden up there. :sad1: ;)

Wonderful news! Fingers and toes are crossed and prayers sent that this works out for your family!

Ellen -- thanks for the link!

Both Andrew and Jake has baseball games last night, both teams won, and what was even better is that both boys played well! Yahoo! Unfortunately, one played in Kaufman and one played 12 miles away, but at least Randy could get off early enough so that we could both attend a game. :)

Have a good day everyone!
Yay for Andrew and Jake!!! :cheer2: :cheer2:

I can check when I'm there too!

Also, if anyone else wants me to look for or pick up anything for them, please pm me. I will be happy to shop for you!

Elizabeth and Chanon - I already have your requests. ;)

What movies are you watching Heidi?

As for what I am doing today, I am enjoying the quiet :thumbsup2 Dh is at work & the boys are in school, ahhhhhhh.

I have my beans in the slow cooker & laundry in the wash. I have already vacuumed, so now I am here :) Sure there is more housework I COULD be doing, but trust me it is not going anywhere :rotfl:

Do you need one, Theresa? Is mid-May too late? I can check when we are in DL.

nope....it's for Jen....I just remembered seeing one a couple of weeks ago at our Disney store....she looked for herself in the big store in NYC.

She still may need your help.

WELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL....................................

We put in a bid on a townhouse!!

Does it mean that I'm too attached to you guys, when I read a post like that and breathe a sigh of relief for your :lmao: :woohoo: :woohoo: That is great news.

This weather is so screwy right now! Forecast is calling for a wintry mix, I want our Spring back!

We are expecting 6 to 10 inches of snow tomorrow  Followed by a wintery mix on Sunday. I don't think we will ever see spring. The poor Robins are out and they look so confused :confused3

I need to get Colby to school then pick up a few groceries and some flowers. Hunter's big play is tonight so I must have flowers for him after the performance ;) My niece also had 5 teeth pulled this morning so I get some flowers for her too. My Mom will pick Colby up at school today as I have teacher conferences for Nick and Hunter this afternoon. Then I will need to facilitate homework quickly and feed my crew something before we are off to the performance. Just another busy day here. I did remember to charge all of the camera batteries and all 3 camcorder batteries so hopefully I will be able to record the show. Who knows, maybe he'll be the next Bruce Willis and my video will be very valuable :rotfl: Of course he doesn't even have a speaking role, but he will be signing and dancing and giving a girl flowers. He is so excited about this play. I hope it goes as well as he thinks it will.

If you are too attached that must mean I am too........I laugh, cry and rejoice along with everybody in their every day lives.

Sounds like another busy day in your house!! Have a great time tonight!!

I got this in an email and just had to share it....

One day a mother died.
And on that clear, cold morning,
in the warmth of her bedroom,
the daughter was struck with
the pain of learning that sometimes
there isn't any more.
No more hugs,
no more lucky moments to celebrate together,
no more phone calls just to chat,
No more "just one minute."
Sometimes, what we care about the most goes away.
never to return before we can say good-bye,
Say "I Love You."
or
"I Miss You"
So while we have it . . it's best we love it . .
And care for it and fix it when it's broken
and take good care of it when it's sick.
This is true for marriage .... and friendships!
And children with bad report cards;
And dogs with bad hips;
And aging parents and grandparents.
We keep them because they are worth it,
Because we cherish them!
Some things we keep --
like a best friend who moved away
or a classmate we grew up with.
There are just some things that
make us happy, No matter what.
Life is important,
and so are the people we know ...
And so, we keep them close!
I received this from someone today
who thought I was a 'KEEPER'!
Then I sent It to the people
I Think of in the same way!
Now it's your turn to send this to all those people
who Are "keepers" in your life!
{ and I'd like to have this back from you :-) }
Thank you very much
For being a special part of MY Life!
YOU ARE A KEEPER!

Just a quick pop in..

Things are crazy around here.

Molly's behavior has gotten horrible as a result of her being off her medicine. She is not napping at all, I can't remember when her last nap was. So with her not getting any relief for her throat on top of being exhausted has made for some interesting days. What has got me :furious: is that I cannot get a hold of the surgical scheduler to get her endoscopy date set. I keep playing phone tag and have left several messages. The last few have been not so nice.

And then Emma is giving us a run for our money. Remember the imagining of her Easter Basket contents, well she also cut her bangs Sunday morning when she came downstairs. I could care less about her sneaking a peek or even cutting her hair, I know I'm guilty of both. What made it worse was that she lied to us about both. I know all kids lie at some point-I'm just hoping that we have nipped it in the bud. She lost her Ipod and her computer time for the week. Her attitude is getting a little obnoxious and I am wondering where my sweet little  went.

I have caught up but don't know how long that will last. Sending good thoughts to everyone.

Oh my!!!! How wonderful!!!! How do you feel about all this?? Do you love it?

So what are everyones plans for today? I have 4 DVD's my sister gave to me to watch, better get started.

Have a good day all. pixiedust: and :grouphug: to all.

Well, I'm doing at least 3 loads of laundry, have to make a batch of cupcakes for Katie to take to a church group activity, babysitting for a neighbor for an hour, have to make some calls to get our pop-up camping ready, call a campground to make a ressie for next week, make dinner, strip and remake the master bed, try not to ignore my kids, teach two piano lessons, mend a skirt for a school program, buy teacher appreciation gifts.....do I need to go on? I think I'd rather go back to bed. Better still, I really think I'd like to come to your house and help you watch the DVD's.

Guess I'd better get jumping on my list!

This is so true, thanks for sharing Tammi. Even though it did make me :sad1:
