For those trying to share the itinerary for the October trip, there is something called Google documents where you can upload the document to Google, and then share it with whoever you want. I believe you can give editing rights as well, and then everyone is always accessing the latest version of the document.

Just thought it might help you all, but feel free to ignore me.

Hello, All!

I have read everything from where I left off last night, but I wasn't quoting as I read so now I have forgotten half of what I was going to say.:headache:

Theresa - Good luck with the house hunt!

Janet - Yay for the water heater being a covered repair!:thumbsup2 I hope nothing breaks after May 1!

Beth - Miles and my DS should get together for a pantless camp-out in the living room sometime!:rotfl2:

Lindsay & Marci - Weather has been a little crazy, hasn't it? Hope you are doing well!

Thanks to all for the job hunting PD! I called the agency today with all the screwy rules and scheduled my "in person" interview with the "placement counselor" for Monday. Makes it sound like I am on probation or something. Anyway, I told them they will NOT be pulling my credit report and distributing it willy-nilly. She said they will only pull credit if the family requests it, and then only if the nanny agrees. I told her if they get to pull my credit I get to pull theirs.:) I will tell them my FICO score but they do NOT need to view my credit report for any reason. I still have to work out the TB thing. My friend got her AMAZING job through them, so I know it does happen. And she told me the nannies are allowed to go on interviews even if they haven't done the "orientation" class yet. There really ought to be some sort of opt out if you have been a full time nanny for more than 10 years. I will have to ask about that, because I shouldn't have to get a babysitter for DS on a Saturday so I can go listen to information that is basically common sense. OK, so he is too old for a sitter really, but we don't leave him alone for extended periods of time.

Took Brother & Sister to Meet the Robinsons today. I really liked it! I think it was a bit over Sister's head, but she liked it. Brother fell asleep just before the dinosaur part and he slept through the rest of the movie! I got teary at the end, but it was the Rob Thomas song more than the quote that got me. And having Brother sleeping on my lap, thinking to myself how these last months are going to pass so quickly.:sad1:

Off to empty the dishwasher. For SOME reason the housekeepers left it, which is interesting since I turned it on for them before we left this morning.

Sounds like a great idea to me! I already have a Google account, anyone else interested?

Has anyone ever cooked ham & beans in a crockpot? I always cook them on the stove, but I love my crockpot lol

Here is a link to my photobucket album with images of the Pal Mickey instruction booklet:

Pal Mickey Instructions

Let me know if this doesn't work.

The files are kind of large for e-mail, but let me know if you want me to try to e-mail them if you can't print them out from photobucket.

Also can someone remind me again how to change the link to say Pal Mickey instead of showing the website address?

Our water heater is not working :( But the good thing is we are still renting till the 1st of the month, so the landlord will pay to get it fixed :)

Papers are been drawn & we will be official homeowners come May 1st :thumbsup2 I am excited but scared at the same time. I am so use to not having to foot the bill for any work that needs to be done & soon it will be our responsibility  But on the other hand we can fix the house up & decorate it anyway we want

The best news so far today,,,,,,,,

Gary goes back to work tomorrow :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Janet if it isn't leaking.
It only needs a new part.
Element, thermostat, dip stick, relef valve.
If your lucky you may only need to reset the circuit braker or thermostat.
Good luck with your closing.

had pulminologist appointment today for my 6 month check up. i look great she said. my oxygen level was 97%. i was happy with that. they dont want me going below 89% then that means trouble. for a normal person they dont want it below 96%. i got an email from the vets office i sent my resume and they want me to fill out an application, so ill do that tomorrow. prayers and pixie dust i get it. then have to run a few errands and hopefully look at an apartment.

Anne Marie - what beautiful children you have. They are getting so big!
Thank you!

Ok, Ellen and I are playing with Google Groups! Who wants to join and add things and play with us!! I set it up as a private group, so it has to be done by email invite (so it isn't public on a google search for example) Ellen's already put in her Pal Mickey Instructions!!!

Me me!!!!!!!:)

Thanks for the nice comments about the pictures. Katie looks so old to me in them. :sad1:

Terry,

Thank you so much for the antenna topper!!!!! It came yesterday.:yay: pirate:

I'm also trying to make everyone an "owner" as well - that way everyone has control over the group for changes.
