We had a lovely Easter. I was finally able to get some Webkinz for their baskets & they were surprised & thrilled.

I have my MIL staying for a few days so I haven't been able to keep up with everythings that has been going on. Just want to say I hope whatever transpired yesterday can be repaired in time.

Last night Dana & I went out for dinner (my MIL watched the kiddies). We haven't been on a date since last November & boy it was nice! We went to Applebee's & I was able to stay on my points with their WW's meals & dessert. (yummy BTW). We talked for hours & just got to be a couple which was wonderful.

So when do we make adr's for Oct? (yes I am excited!)

After freezing again last night at the baseball game, the weather is gradually warming up to near 80, then cooling down to the 50s on Saturday. I feel like I need half of my closet in my car just to be ready for the snow/rain/cold/hot weather lately!

Try to stay warm, Marci! I agree, this weather has been wild. Our minister on Sunday said "no, I promise you it's not Christmas morning in Dallas!"

I told Jimmy that this couldn't....wouldn't mess with our vacation. WE NEED THIS!!! Plus the part we've already paid for isn't moveable to a time we can go later. So like it or not you will be seeing me in July.

I emphatically agree - a trip to WDW will be exactly what the doctor has ordered come July!!!!

So Bob has informed me that after watching the planning video that he wants to go to a Disney waterpark, go parasailing and go to Pleasure Island, all of which I've never done. OY!!

WOW - but those sound like all fun things that you guys can explore together!

Sounds like Gary. On our Dec. trip he wants to do more than just go to the parks, I am fine with this as long as he is happy. Of course this will not keep the boys & I from visiting the parks often

He wants to do the Richard Petty diving experience(bil will be going as well), parasailing, horseback riding(all of us will be joining for this), rent a water craft, & go to Pleasure Island. We are also hoping to have a nice dinner out with adults only(bil's children are 18 & 16, so they can keep an eye on Garrett & Riley).

That sounds like an awesome trip planned, Janet!

Well we get to come down in our housing efforts......price wise....we will be looking at least 2 tonight that will be better in our range....please keep us in your prayers...this really needs to come together.

I just know the perfect house for you guys is out there, Theresa!!!

I wouldn't put it past him. I have read over on the photo board about people have trouble with photos showing when they edit posts. I didn't pay a lot of attention to it, but I guess it is one of the new quirks on the DIS boards.

This happens to me every time I edit a post with a picture. I asked on the technical forum and never got an answer. It started happening immediately after one of their so-called upgrades a couple of months ago. It happens EVERY time I edit one.

Our water heater is not working But the good thing is we are still renting till the 1st of the month, so the landlord will pay to get it fixed

Papers are been drawn & we will be official homeowners come May 1st I am excited but scared at the same time. I am so use to not having to foot the bill for any work that needs to be done & soon it will be our responsibility But on the other hand we can fix the house up & decorate it anyway we want

I bet from the amount of posts I've done you all can tell I am doing better emotionally....I am still crying at the drop of the hat for no explainable reason and can't sleep and have a nagging stress headache....but I am not as pissy. (excuse my mouth). I've turned in my resignation at PTO and that's a huge weight off of me....I am looking into second jobs(not very hard, but still looking) and this looking at rentals and for sales has helped.


So I am still reading along and appreciating all of your well wishes and prayers...they are helping!!

Continued . Sounds like you are taking steps in all the right directions - I hope you continue to feel on the upswing!

Do to a series of events that unfolded yesterday you are aware that Bear74 feels the need to not post here anymore. There was a breach of trust issue that I will not discuss because it is not my place. I can see how she feels betrayed and understand her point of view though I hope in time issues may be resolved as she will be greatly missed here. What you may or may not be aware of is that Dumby (Delinda) has been permanentlly banned from the DIS as a result of yesterday's events. She is very upset about what happened, and most of what happened was fueled by the passion of the moment. I hate to see any of our family hurt and it seems that 2 members have been greatly hurt. If anyone would like to contact Delinda she has said that you can reach her by her email address which is on the DDA contact info sheet.

This is a sad day for the DDA.
I will have no further comment on this issue here on the this thread.

Yay for a night out with Dana! I'm glad you guys had such a nice time. Also loved your Easter pics - I now know what a Webkinz looks like. I think it's safe to say that your kids hit the mother-lode on those!

I am not sure Actually I am a little confused with the itinerary(nothing new for me to be confused lol). Once everyone gets it & adds to it, does it go back to Chanon & then a completed one sent back out to everyone?
