Morning DDA! It looks like it'll be a beautiful (but cold!) day today! I hope everyone has a great weekend!!!!

Good morning, DDA! :sunny:

I tried to get on here about 5:30 and the DIS just wasn't cooperating. None of the pages would load for me. So I went back to sleep for a couple of hours. :)

I am teaching today to make up for missing lessons yesterday, so I won't be on here as much as l would like to be. But I will check in again later. Hope everyone has great days doing all the fun stuff you have planned to do (including work!).

Good morning!

Only 200 more days till our Oct. meet :cool1:

Elizabeth, so sorry about your DSL!!! What a mess!!

Elin, so happy the celebration went well.

To all the  kiddos.

My DD bought two of her MYM tickets last night. 2 down, 2 to go..... 28 more days.... I made Capt. Jack ressies for the Thursday we will be there. :dance3:

200 days until October :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

I will bere hit and miss this week. My "almost" son is here with his wife and baby. My goodness he has grown.:cloud9:

Today is my DGD's fashion show. Cleaning the house ready for BBQ tomorrow, after DGD's soccer game. Monday and Tuesday work. Wednesday maybe we'll go to Hands on House or somewhere fun for the toddler.

I'm off to start my day. Have both DVRs programmed for the Disney marathon tomorrow!! Woo Hoo!!:woohoo: :woohoo:

Katie was at a sleepover last night & she called me early this morning telling me she didn't feel well. I went & got her, brought her home & she she has a 102 fever.:sad2: She would have never left her friends if she wasn't feeling good. Her friends were so sweet, they were all hugging her & telling her to feel better. Well she is eating a bagel & I gave her some Motrin..hopefully I can get her to lay down for an hour or so...poor baby.

Thankfully we have nothing going on today..Sunday we have parties, sports, & church so it should be hectic.

Hope you all have a nice Saturday. :coffee:

Good morning, DDA!

My phone is back!:cool1:
BUT I can't have the DSL plugged in and use my dial-up at the same time. They cancel each other out, which is odd since they are supposed to be on different frequencies. Anyway, DH and DS are harping on me to get the internet loaded on the new computer, so I guess we'll see how that goes. I don't imagine it will go well, since nothing else about this has gone well!:rotfl:

Beware of eBay. Besides being heavily addictive I think a lot of the pins we bought are 1) counterfeit 2) "scrappers" that were supposed to be melted back down but made it out on the black market OR 3) stolen. I was doing some research on PinPics because some of the pins we bought to complete sets are different sizes than the pins we already had. Bizarre. Now I know why those people on eBay can sell pins for $2 each - they buy them in gigantic quantities from China, where the factories produce larger runs of the pins than Disney authorized. Now I have no clue what pins we have are authentic and which ones aren't. :scared1: Big mess. Oh, well. It is still fun.

Look who was waiting for me when I got home tonight!

There was nothing in the box but Mr. Mouse with a clip. No instructions or anything. Does anyone have the time to scan their directions and send me the file or mail it to me? I would be much appreciative, although I did figure out how to turn him on and make him talk. :)

Me, too, please! I just ordered that one off of E-bay for my kids for Easter. He arrived. I've turned him on and played a little, but I can't do it with the kids around. He seems to be a little different than Brooksie, so if I could get instructions, that would help! Thanks!!!!

Hi, all! :flower3:

I hope you have nice Saturdays planned! I'm getting ready to go look at wallpaper again :scared: , but maybe I'll luck out and find something this time. I also need to do fun stuff like get our taxes done, clean out a closet, etc. Ick! I did spend most of the morning doing some research on laptops, as I may break down and get one sometime in the near future. I love my desktop, but it would be nice to have portability. We have always been able to use Jonathan's work laptop with no problems when we're out of town, but he gets a new one this week that is a tablet PC, and we're not real sure how that's going to work out. It would be nice to be able to DIS from bed!

:grouphug: :wizard: all around!

Elizabeth - congrats on getting the DSL to work!

I mean to post this the other day - I got this in the mail from Disney Visa, and thought it would be good info. for all those thinking of seeing Meet the Robinsons in the theater this weekend:

Go to www.disneyrewards.com/mtr and respond to the questions about the movie by 4/3/07. Upon doing so, you will receive a free MTR soundtrack in the mail 3-5 weeks later.

Also, don't forget that you can now register for Disney Movie Rewards for seeing a movie in the theater! I think you have to keep your ticket stubs and mail them in to get the points.

Lastly, I thought this was a fun little article. It seems the director of MTR is from our area (actually went to the high school my future children would go to if we were to stay in this house), and this article appeared in the Dallas Morning News: http://www.guidelive.com/sharedcontent/dws/ent/stories/DN-anderson_0331glGLWKND.2f28d18.html

Ellen, :wizard: :wizard: for your DS, hope he gets the job.

Deb, we only do counter service, except for Garden Grill, Rainforest Cafe, Planet Hollywood and Boatwrights. The last is at Port Orleans Riverside.

Everyone gets to pick on meal that is a must do.

Hunter Picked Crystal Palace
Nick picked Chef Mickey's
Colby picked Donald's Breakfastasauras
Chris picked Whispering Canyon
I picked Liberty Tree Tavern

That doesn't mean that we won't do other sit down meals, but we will definitely do those 5. Otherwise counter service seems to fill us all up and no one objects. In fact they like to keep going so not doing sit downs is more efficient in a commando touring plan :rotfl:

Hi everyone...Just got back from out cabin trip...here are some pics:

We spent Tuesday night in the Main lodge (Abe Martin Lodge) I felt like we had stepped back in time. Everyone was just so darn nice and hospitable.... Basically spent the day doing a few trails....horseback riding...It was Kirsten's & Christopher's first time...and amazingly Bill was brave enough to go too!! We drank coffee on the swing and watched the kids play in the field. I was shocked at how everything was already green & in bloom.

Wednesday & Thursday were spent at the cabin. Talk about beautiful!! It was extremely roomy and the kids had a blast playing in the woods. It was pretty cool to sit on the balcony & just soak in all the nature. 2 miles away was the cutest little town that had some quaint little shops (I was in my glory) Again the people were just so nice. More trails...a few of them were pretty rugged. As a matter of fact they had gotten some bad weather and at several points trees were blocking the trail & you had to climb through it all. Bill had quite the time...at one point I couldn't help but laugh at him. He was so pissed he didn't speak to us for 15 minutes!!

The last day we spent with Bill's son & family to visit the kids. We went to the Zoo for a few hours, and then back to their place. The kids are getting huge...you couldn't ask for a happier baby then Nathan. I have never seen such an easy going kid!!

Kristine It sounds like you had a great mini vacation. It looked like lots of fun too.

I just got a call from work. They are moving me from cocktail to waitress tonight. You'd think they would just put me on the schedule for Saturday's as this is the 3rd time I've been asked to waitress on Saturday. Oh well that is more Mickey Money for me :thumbsup2 I really hope it is busy.

I just got this email from a friend. I don't have time to verify it yet, but thought it might be important for others too.
