Well, he doesn't sound like my type, but DH wasn't my type, either!:rotfl2:

I can see it now. Tammi, the biker momma, cruising to WDW on her Hog.;) I have to say I admire him for getting out of IT and following his dreams.

My cousin who is a very mild-mannered, church secretary has her own bike. I couldn't believe it when she got it. It is so against her normal character. She absolutely loves it.

I'm game if you are. Together we can do it!!

Deb

I gotta get back on track I was up 2.4 pounds this week. I didn't even gain that much in one week during the holidays. However last week before I weighed in I hardly ate anything for a few days since I had a touch of the stomach bug and have been sick. The last few days I have been eating junk and also eating something after I came home from work around 8pm. I'm also PMSing. Tomorrow I will eat healthier and will try to get some excercise in.:cool1:

Good luck Tammi!

I'm having my coffee date tomorrow morning! From the phone chats we've been having, I'm getting the feeling he is not my type. Tomorrow I'll know for sure if there is any chemistry there.

Wait until he see's what the t-shirt says

Deb

We just opened it. I got pictures but I need to find my cable to download them to my computer. It is great! On the back is a picture of a blue tundra and says: "If you can't tow with this, maybe it was meant to stay put".

Elizabeth, I received the package of pins today. Thank you very much. As I suspected, Becky is going to "steal" the Tink one. I may keep a couple of them myself. I want to collect full body pins of the characters for my curtain.

Did they all arrive safely? I wasn't sure how they should be packed. I think Tink is very cute. DS has Pinocchio, Jiminy Cricket, and Blue Fairy that I bought for him before Christmas - they make a cute set!

Deb

Now I am curious about the T-shirt! It sounds really fun!

Are any of you watching American Idol? Some of these girls are just HORRID!

Have a great day,

Marti

Chris is catching up here, I read what you wrote and he said "That's Right":lmao: :lmao:

Candlepin???

and I am happy if I get over 100...part of the reason I want my own ball is that balls are drilled for righties not lefties!!

Kiddos and those ramps are so cute!! Did you use bumpers too??

It seems to be a New England thing. The pins are more narrow and pretty much like a cylinder. The ball is much smaller at about 4.5 inches and must weigh no more than 2lbs 7oz. The pins only weight 2lbs 8oz so you get less power from the ball than in traditional bowling. You also get 3 throws on each turn. If you get all down in 1 throw it's a strike, 2 throws it's a spare and 3 throws it's a ten-box. You get extra points for the strike and spare just as in traditional. Also, you do not clear the fallen pins between throws. Instead, you can use them to help knock down other pins on your subsequent throws. It's a lot of fun and a much easier ball for little ones, but a little difficult to get used to after playing 10-pin all of your life.

Here is more info if you're interested:

Absolutely! I don't think that we'd have survived without them.

Deb, Chuck wants to know if you have posted the summary of the video yet? I told him no, and he wants to know why not? :lmao: :rotfl:

I mean this in the nicest way.

Denise Marti Tammi
All of you have fun this weekend.
Pack for a bit chilly & rain.

There's nothing wrong with motorcycle guys!! Chris and I both ride though not as much as we'd like too. You may be pleasantly suprised
That's why I'm not completely scrapping this. I've meshed so well with you guys, that maybe I will with him too!

We got a Disney code in the mail for 40% off certain weeks at Disney. Chuck gave it to me. He said "maybe this will make you happy". I was in a great mood until I got an email blaming my team for something that set me off. Anyway, the way he handed it to me made me believe he'll let us go again this year! :woohoo:

So, like from October 18 to 23? :cheer2:

I'm glad Chuck liked the shirt. :thumbsup2
Some of the salesmen went to a "ride and drive" last month and brought back a few shirts. These are promtional shirts not available to the public. I thought the writing on the back was cool. Deb says I'll have to settle for the shirt until our DVC is paid off. :sad2:
