Theresa how is the annual report coming?

my co worker is a not so nice word...we had part of our operating systems go down and I asked him to get our tech guys out here to fix it rather than waiting for a phone call back from somebody in OR....nope rather wait for the phone call back....because of that delay (we did eventually contact our IT guys..they fixed it right away). He has NONE of his work done for the report!! SO....I am just now leaving work...taking work with me home and still won't be able to print until tomorrow morning (when the report is supposed to be at the binders) IF and WHEN he gets his hiney moving!!

Hi, Becky! I hope you feel better soon! I felt horrible from Sunday morning until this afternoon, so just over 48 hours. Maybe yours won't last too long, either!

Anne Marie - I thought I read posts last year where people were mad because they couldn't get in MB without a preschooler? Or they were ignored? Or something? Or maybe they were mad that only Fantasyland was open? Of course I don't remember now.

I'm not sure if Olivia will drink Chocolate milk she does not like chocolate candy.
if she gets soda its sprite

DS can whip through a gallon of milk in a couple of days. He is allowed to have Sprite on occasion, but I prefer not. Especially with the braces, because that sugar will make white spots under the brackets. He hates chocolate, so that works to my advantage!

I can leave work on a Friday, and when I come back Monday afternoon there will be the EXACT same amount of milk in the jug. I am not sure what Sister brings in her lunch because Dadboss usually has her lunch ready when I come in, so I don't know if she has yogurt or cheese. That's why I am really firm about making her drink milk.

WOW-2 kids who don't like chocolate.

Elizabeth-I can't believe your charges don't drink milk. Don't they eat cereal?

We get it delivered and use 3-4 gallons a week. My kids won't touch soda. Lizzy does like OJ and they get a juice box in lunch but don't drink too much juice at home. Emma is a big water drinker. She wouldn't drink any milk at WDW-said it tasted funny but she drank lots of water.

Anne Marie - When did they start Magical Beginnings last year? I thought it was pretty late in the month. And I don't think we would qualify since we won't have any preschoolers in our group.

Doesn't matter you can still go in early, but only kid type stuff was open, I think Fantasyland but Aladdin Magic Carpets were open. We also saw the mickey's Magic Show at MGM our entire party was adults and nobody ever said a word to us about how we were not supposed to be there. We were there August 13 - 20th.

olivia loves sunny d i buy the reduced sugar and then make it with half water. I do that with her apple and white grape juice as well.

I tried 2% milk on her as the Dr. told me when she turned 2 to change to that. well Jeff and I both drink whole. I treid it at sonic once, she took one sip and told me yucky milk mommy. So I just stick with whole milk.

so we tried to look at DVC while we were at disney. we were unable to go for the tour. They called and left a message on our phone. asking if we would like them to send us info about it.

Jeff has a couple of questions though.
1. how much do you pay a year or month.
2. does the total spread out over the entire 48 years.

1. This depends on how many points you buy, how long and how much you finance, and what your interest rate is.

2. I believe Disney only lets you finance for 10 years. We paid ours off with our home equity line.

Theresa - Sorry work is a pain!

I did get to talk with Dadboss tonight about Sister's schedule. She will have activities on Wed, Thur, and Fri. Wednesdays could be ugly, but Thursday and Friday will be fine. And it is just 3 days instead of 4. I think she will love going to cooking class. The Tae Kwon Do might be a different story. But we'll see.
No word on my schedule (or my proposed schedule). My friend recently started a job with a newborn that she loves. Of course we ALL want jobs with newborns. Her boss has a friend expecting a baby, so she said she would pass my name along. Might turn out to be a dead end, but you never know!

Guess that would depend on your finance (loan terms) I know that Disney offers financing...we paid cash for the points. BUT, there are still maintenance fees that have to be paid...we have 500 points, so we pay apprx. $2425 a year in fees. You can pay these monthly or yearly...

Just popped on and saw your questions.

1. The amount varies, depending on your investment, and how you've set up your membership. You can choose to pay your annual dues/maintenance fees (a certain dollar amount for each point you own) either in one lump sum, or you can choose to pay it in a monthly debit. If you have paid for your membership through some type of loan, then you will have to factor in that monthly repayment, as well.

2. The amount of your investment depends on how many points you buy. If you go through Disney, you must purchase at least 150 pts. initially. If you go through a resale agent, you can purchase smaller contracts. I want to say the going rate right now for a new purchase at SSR is something like $102/point (although I know they're running another friends & family promotion where a current DVC member can get you $15 off per point).

Think about it like buying a car - you either need to pay for your contract in cash, or you can take out a loan. The loan terms are obviously up to you and the lender (the APR, how many months you've financed for, etc.). So, you will likely have paid for your initial investment in a few years, not over the 48 year term. You will pay annual dues, though, for the duration of your contract.

they are sending us the info. they will be taking orders for AKL some time this summer or fall. it is supposed to open this year. I would love to do that. But I have a feeling this is not going to happen for us.

Good, but I would love to be able to talk about it. I think the 2 hour flight will be discussing all we want to accomplish and everyone listing with 3 things that is a must see/do.

Yesterday while I was doing the dishes after dinner I said to Nicholas, "I can't wait to go back to Disney World." His response was a resounding "ME TOO!"

That is too cute. I bet they flip out (in a good way).
