The DDA Trouble Free Zone Part 20

It is pouring here too. We have had rain and warm temps all weekend. The boys were supposed to start snowboard lessons tonight. I have called the ski area and it is closed, the website says it's closed, yet our rec department won't cancel it until this afternoon as things might change I have to work tonight so if there is snowboarding I need to make sure that my Mom is prepared to bring them. I can't believe that the Rec Dept can't just cancel it on their own. The kids shouldn't be out in pouring rain anyway.

How is everyone?

On Friday - I got the pleasure of meeting Ellen and Glynis - Lynn was unable to join us after all

Ellen's family was a lot of fun and her boys are delgihtful!! She has raised very nice young men and should be very proud of them!!!

Glynis and her DH were just as sweet in person as you would expect and it was wonderful finally meeting her!

It was a very stressful meal for me as WCC tends to wind your kids up and then we were there for THREE hours!!! I feel like I didn't get to talk much!

I can't wait to hear how the marathon went
my sister (Nancy), her DH and my dad all finished in about 3 hours! It was so inspirational and emotional to be at the finish line -

A little after they crossed the finish line we heard they ran out of medals - how heartbreaking for the people at the end - who the medals would have meant the most to!!

Disney has a lot of work to do on the marathon - we got a lot of misinformation about it!

Santa brought Laura a Barnes and Nobles gift card so that she could get the final Pants book. I forgot that tomorrow is the day!

The girls got B&N cards too....they dont know I've ordered the book...wonder what they'll think when it comes in the mail??

I just looked at the Tigger Video too. It looks to me like the kid had his hand caught up in the head and when Tiggers arm came down it caught the kids arm under his. I don't think that he hooked the kids arm. The hit looked like he was turning to push the kids arm with his other hand and he happened to get the boys head instead of his arm. The father even said that his first thought was that the kid did something to provoke Tigger. If he was such a good boy why would the Dad have immediately suspected that the kid did something?

Those are my exact thoughts, Deb. And just out of curiosity, what's with the gloves the kid is wearing. Oh, and I liked how they went and changed into casual clothes for the media.

Good morning!

Just cleaned up where the tree was & got all the toys out of the living room & into the kids rooms. Haven't had a chance to catch up since you were all so chatty last night.

I am in all day cleaning & trying to get my house in order since all the Christmas stuff is gone. After Dana brought everything up to the attic & was finished, I notice this a.m. that I left my wreath on the door!

Thanks for all the "welcomes" for Dana (kingdaddy, Thats what the kids call him)

I had to look at it a few times. It really looks like the kid was doing something to Tiggers back & his arm was wrapped around Tigger's in a strange way.

The laundry is progressing, one folded, one in dryer and one in washer. I also did a workout video so that is overwith for the day. Now if they would just cancel snowboarding I could stop worrying about that. The mountain hasn't updated their website since yesterday. I can't imagine that they got anything but the rain that we are getting. It isn't a very high elevation.
