:goodvibes

Thanks to everyone for the well wishes.

I made it through 5 hours at work before I left, I decided that I wasn't going to push it. I am definitely starting to feel human again, I start my third round of antibiotics tomorrow, hopefully that will be the one to finally nip this thing in the bud.

:grouphug: for the rest of us who are feeling poorly.

Congrats on all the new reservations, wish I were going too.

Well I'm off to take a nap

Thank you!!!!!!!

Unfortunately it looks like I am headed back to the doctor for round 2. Whats up with not getting better after the first round. :confused3

I hope that everyone starts to feel better soon. It seems that there has been more this year than most. Colby now has a horrible cold. Maybe that explains some of his behavior on Friday as he was probably coming down with it then. Nick has 2 bad cold sores, one on his chin and one on his upper lip. They are both pretty big. I feel bad that he has to go to school with them, but our pediatrician swears that there is nothing he can prescribe to shorten the duration or severity. He tends to get them quite often. Certainly no fun. Wednesday I go back to my PCP for my back. Colby and Hunter both have appointments with the orthodist. Hunter is just a follow up and Colby is being casted for his new orthodics. We've never had so many doctor's appointments. I hope things settle down soon for all of us.

Good Morning!!!!

How is everyone?

On Friday - I got the pleasure of meeting Ellen and Glynis - Lynn was unable to join us after all

Ellen's family was a lot of fun and her boys are delgihtful!! She has raised very nice young men and should be very proud of them!!!

Glynis and her DH were just as sweet in person as you would expect and it was wonderful finally meeting her!

It was a very stressful meal for me as WCC tends to wind your kids up and then we were there for THREE hours!!! I feel like I didn't get to talk much!

I can't wait to hear how the marathon went
my sister (Nancy), her DH and my dad all finished in about 3 hours! It was so inspirational and emotional to be at the finish line -

A little after they crossed the finish line we heard they ran out of medals - how heartbreaking for the people at the end - who the medals would have meant the most to!!

Disney has a lot of work to do on the marathon - we got a lot of misinformation about it!

:welcome: home Kate. How could Disney possibly run out of medals? That is awful...   So glad your family got a chance to participate and did so well. :woohoo:

Yay for not having to move! :cheer2:

Love  DVC. I made my last night's worth of reservations for our Dec. trip this morning - got all 5 nights without a hitch - very exciting!

Yes, Tammi, I'm glad you don't have to move either. And Lindsay, I'm so happy you are going in December. I loved Disney in December. :santa: :santa: :santa: :dance3:

Well, I'm home from work today...:headache: :headache:

I feel just crappy. But I don't have a fever. I'm hoping it's just sinus... my allergies in flare-up mode.

I'm going to stick my Mickey rug in the washer. I hope it doesn't fall apart. But I'm doing a deep clean in my bedroom, my aim is to eliminate every speck of dust, so off it goes..:laundy: :laundy:

Not yet, but I am getting very excited!

Janet, have you started packing yet? I bet you are getting excited about your upcoming trip!

Chanon I would want to know about the must see's in the parks, the fastpasses, & about the different dining that is available.

..so if you were traveling to Disney for the first time - what would you like to hear about?

Same here!

I'm really trying to give the CM the benefit of the doubt. I hope it all comes out eventually.

Let me know how this turns out, I was thinking of making it tomorrow.

I need to get ready and get the kids off to school. Then I'm going grocery shopping. I'm going to make your shepherd's pie tonight, Heidi. I hope my kids like it!

Have a great day everyone!

Debbie, Steffy, Heidi and Deb - I hope all the sicknesses pass quickly!!

Jen - the card came today. Thank you!

HAH! I knew you would say that. I looked at the site twice this weekend and again this morning. I could shop there even more but we know I don't need to!

Seriously, some of the shorts are on sale. :goodvibes

This sounds good, do you have a certain recipe you use? I guess the ones I make I could just replace the hamburger with chicken. You are making my grocery list for me :rotfl:

I'm preparing enchilada casserole for another night. I'm going to cook and shred the chicken for it, so when I get home from work all I'll have to do is layer and bake it.

all this DVC talk reminded me of why once again I LOVE DVC

Steve checked us into the Beach Club while I was at the MK - I called and asked how the room was and he said - I think you will like it - we have an Epcot view!!!

as we walked in the view was directly of the Epcot ball - and on the balcony we could watch illuminations and wishes at the same time - I can't tell you how amazing it was

julia was turning her head back forth and finally siad - "Mommy - I don't know which one to watch!!" What a horrible decision to have to make - Illuminations or Wishes!! ;)

Keep reading Janet. I posted Glynis' recipe for Anne Marie, and that recipe called for beef. I'm just substituting chicken.

MMMMMM......Heidi! I just made up the beef mixture for the pie. It is yummy. It's in the fridge, and now all I'll have to do is put the potatos on top of it and bake it.

Were you able to hear any of Illuminations? The music, not the kabooms.

nope not really - I mean I could hear it but it was pretty faint!
we had no trouble hearing the kabooms!! ;)
