I added a new column to my spreadsheet re: dates of next visit:

I would appreciate it if any and/or all of you who have visits scheduled could let me know your dates and locations - I will add it to the spreadsheet.

Then if anyone needs a copy, just let me know and I will forward it to you.

We love house just cannot find time to watch much anymore, we cought his speech on a flip thru and also laughed. :rotfl:

It's amazing, he was concerned about the House role because he is a comedic actor and this was his first dramatic role. I love him in House. I think it is currently my favorite show.

Just one question for those with more frequent UTIs - when does the pain stop?? He gave me three days of Cipro, and I've only taken one pill - the other will be after dinner. When does it stop hurting??

Marti, If not by time you go to bed, tomorrow morning. I used to ask for the pain pill that turns the urine a different color but somehow I havent needed it the last few times

Thank you ALL for your kind words... I'm just back from the doctor and now all caught up. It appears as a UTI right now so he gave me some pills. However, he found blood in my urine and had to have it sent away. So naturally that makes me a little more nervous.

In the meantime, I got some Xanax for my flight on Sunday. I've never taken it, but it is supposed to be great for anxiety and flying makes me anxious. I'd take a train if I could - but I want to get there somewhat quickly.

Here's hoping all is gone before Sunday!!!!

Flying makes me nervous too, so let me know how it works. We are going to be flying to Las Vegas over spring break and I am not looking forward to the flying. Silly I suppose, because I do fly somewhat frequently, I just don't like it at all.

Ellen,

Do you fly out of Rochester or Buffalo? We were spoiled on Long Island with direct flights all the time - I'm noticing not so much here. Any insight to good flights???

This is for anyone here who has had to throw a birthday party for more than one child on the same day. My twins will turn 4 in March, and we are starting to talk about the party. It will be pretty small because they don't know a whole lot of kids. However, my problem is that they want different themes for their party. Mary wants a Dumbo birthday party, and Leslie wants a Dora the Explorer party. How do you deal with kids who want different themes? Should I scrap the whole theme thing, and just go with your basic cake and ice cream? I suppose I could do 2 parties, but that just seems like a bit much! Anyone have any ideas? :scratchin

The best flights to Orlando are on Airtran out of Rochester. They are the only airline that offers direct flights. And you can often get a really good price on the direct flights. They now have direct flights to Tampa and Ft. Lauderdale too. We have flown out of Buffalo a couple of times, but I much prefer Rochester because in the winter you never know if the weather is going to be really bad driving to Buffalo. The savings would have to be pretty good to get me to do it again, I'm just spoiled by living 15 minutes from the airport here. If you do want to consider flying out of Buffalo, then check Southwest's website, because Southwest doesn't come up on Expedia, and they don't fly out of Rochester, only Buffalo.

Mostly you are looking at a connection to get anywhere that isn't a hub, one of the downsides of living in a smaller area I suppose. I found out you can't even fly from Rochester to Philadelphia no matter what, now that USAir doesn't fly to Philly anymore. It seems strange, but when we tried to book for my Mom this summer, you actually could not do it, she ended up flying into Baltimore instead to go to visit my DSis who lives near Philly.

I would do 1 party, a seperate cake each for there theme, design an invite with both themes on, party packs with both themes, use bags or boxes and design something with both themes and do a craft, 1 of each.
Have fun!!!

Glynis, there is a site www.birthdaypartyideas.com where people email in what they did. I was checking Bob the Builder ideas today and someone did a Bob meets Blue party because she couldn't pick between themes for her son. How about Dora meets Dumbo?

Good morning Clare! I couldn't sleep - I'm up with pain from what I hope is just a urinary tract infection. I don't get them often, so I'm not sure if that is all it is. The pain is kicking the crap out of me - so I thought I'd check in to see how everybody is doing.

I missed DDA/Golden Globes - I was on with my college roommate discussing where she was taking me for lunch for my birthday - God I love eating out! :teeth: I hope you all had a good time - I hadn't seen most of the movies mentioned, or half the television shows!!

Sorry Marti, It appears I might have passed my UTI on although I think I still have it. Another virtual bug, I hope not. I was in so much pain over the weekend I felt like I had a bunch of horses running over my back. Gotta call the Dr. in the morning for more drugs or something. I feel alot better but am still not right.

Hope you feel better soon. :flower3: :wizard:

Hopefully someone will have answered this, because I don't know. I'm sure you prob. do have a member number, you just don't know it yet. I'd call member services and inquire.

Ok, who all here watches American Idol? Or should I say who will admit to watching it? These auditions are the best part. It just cracks me up  the way some of these people really think they can sing. Can't they hear themselves :listen:?? And Simon is just too much. I love it. :rotfl:
