Ok, who all here watches American Idol? Or should I say who will admit to watching it? These auditions are the best part. It just cracks me up  the way some of these people really think they can sing. Can't they hear themselves :listen:?? And Simon is just too much. I love it. :rotfl:

I recorded it, or at least started to at 8:30 because I forgot until then. I can't stand all the commercials so I think I will set it to record the series and watch then after the fact. Also, DH is watching a movie right now, and it seems he always has control of the remote... (as it should be, or at least so I am told :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: ) so I am better off setting the DVR for anything I want to watch.

Hopefully someone will have answered this, because I don't know. I'm sure you prob. do have a member number, you just don't know it yet. I'd call member services and inquire.

You should be able to call MS and give them your info to pull up your account, they will have it and beable to bank it.

I've got to get the kids in bed. I'll try to check back in later.

I am starting to put together our trip plans for Spring Break which is in April. It will be me, DH and DS17. DS is in his last year of high school, so I wanted to do one last 'big' family vacation before he goes off to college next year. We will be flying to Las Vegas and then doing a circle driving trip that looks like this:

Las Vegas - 2 nights
Sedona, AZ - 1 night
Grand Canyon NP, AZ - 2 nights
Page, AZ - 1 night
Bryce Canyon NP, Utah - 2 nights
Zion NP, Utah - 1 night
Las Vegas - 1 night

I have done some research into what we want to do, but am still in the planning stages. If anyone has any good suggestions let me know. I have the air, hotels, and car booked already so now I am just looking for what to visit, what to do, where to eat etc.

Let me know if anyone has any suggestions or advice.

Thanks. Ellen

Ellen-no idea, but my mom and dad did the "last big family vacation " when my bro and i were in high school..we just got back from a cruise and im 21 and a junior in college and my bro is 19....and we booked for next year--granted, we pay for our own way now, but every trip , my dad says "i thought we were done this vacation thing in high school" ..that just made me think of it..

have a great time

I added a new column to my spreadsheet re: dates of next visit:

I would appreciate it if any and/or all of you who have visits scheduled could let me know your dates and locations - I will add it to the spreadsheet.

Then if anyone needs a copy, just let me know and I will forward it to you.

Hi there..

We are going Dec. 1 - 10. Poly. I would like a copy as well. Thanks for doing this! :teeth:

OMG I am laughing so hard I am about ready to pi$$ my pants :rotfl2:
the only one that I liked was the guy that sang the Sinatra song
The last twins were great as well

Kate -- Brilliant design, as usual. You are incredibly creative.

Glynis -- I agree with the earlier poster. You can blend the themes, but make sure each child gets a small cake with their theme.

That's pretty funny! I hope my boys will want to take vacations with us, but of course I also hope they will be able to pay their own way!

Is the 1st week of December a good time to visit Disney for an adults trip? My DH and I are thinking about going for just a couple of days ourselves to see the decorations. I've convinced him we need to buy DVC but he doesn't think we have the money yet. Hopefully, I'll convince him before then that we should buy it. We want a trip in December for the two of us and another family trip for 4 in March 2007. We've already paid for our March 2006 trip.

It is a FABULOUS time to go. DH and I were there from 11/28-12/4 (the week right after Thanksgiving) and I think it is the perfect time to go. It's not crazy hot (nor was it crazy cold), the decorations are beautiful, the crowds are pretty low, and there is just so much more added "magic" from the various holiday events, etc. at that time. My parents and brother were there for a few of the same days (first time for all of us to be at WDW for that time of year) and my dad said he wished he'd known about this time frame years ago - he doesn't want to go back at any other time now!

(And hey - we'll be in WDW the same time in March! We're there from 3/3-3/12 - first 5 nights at the Swan, and the last 4 at the Poly!)

Cool. We are staying at POR. We are checking out DVC while we are there. Hopefully, we'll be members by Christmas.
