triplefigs said:Just got home from the kids' carnival at school. It was great, and the kids had so much fun. The foot stool I painted for my class I teach sold for $100!And the best news is, I won Davis' foot stool!!!!!
I got it for $36, so DH was extremely happy. Davis is thrilled as well. Mission accomplished!

He has great ideas, but it ended up being a lot of homework for both of us. Here is the t-shirt design, though I think he wants it to only say Wolves now![]()

Here is the diorama. Paper mache, paint and a lot of trees that we made out of garland. We also put a stream in there, but it's hard to see. The moon actually lights up.

There is a little picture of a deer herd in there as he needed to show the wolves prey and I didn't have anything else on hand.

My dad called me just after dinner to let me know that my grandma passed away tonight. As you all know she had spunk right up to the end but she has been physically suffering for years.

Tinkaroo said:Hey Marti - Thanks for asking!
We actually talked about it on Saturday (too tired on Friday). And...
Would you believe it, we're making plans to go on a whirlwind trip next weekend to do the tour, and (hopefully) begin the paperwork process??!!![]()
We looked at every aspect of it, and DH agrees that this is a pretty good deal. He still wants to see more info. about trading out of DVC, and hopefully that lovely little FedEx package will arrive on Monday (we were hoping today, but no dice). We looked at pictures, point charts, and spreadsheets until our minds were spinning!
So, with 2 free SWA tickets just sitting in my account waiting to be used and AP call-in rates back in play, we're off next Friday night!
I hope the trip is successful.tinknme said:Hello everyone! I arrived home from Disney last night. I see I have alot to catch up on, I left on page 190I had a wonderful trip with dh's family

Back!! I can't wait to hear all about the trip!rosiejo said:What the goldfish and the turtle?? Wow no wonder you've never seen anything like it!![]()
Sorry - just had to laugh at the juxtaposition in your post![]()
I guess it did sound funny if you didn't realize that goldfish was plural. What I meant to say is that a new goldfish was added to our existing 4 goldfish and they started breeding. No turtle involved!
Thanks again for the good laugh. They say that is important for good health.Glynis said:He was the first photographer to arrive, and the NASA people gave him a prime site. Other news stations started to arrive, but none of them set up their equipment because they all thought the cloud cover and snow would hamper their visibility. DH, however, was all set up and ready to go. Finally, about 3 minutes before the re-entry, the snow stopped, the clouds shifted and there was clear sky. The capsule appeared in a large fireball with a tail streaming out behind it and DH was the ONLY photographer that captured it! The NASA people couldn't get their camera out until much later, and none of the other news stations got it on film at all. After it was all over, everyone was scrambling to get DH's film from him. The Discovery Channel wants it for a special they are airing later this month, CNN wants it, NASA wants it, etc. DH was a little bummed, because he can't sell the film. It legally belongs to the station he works for. If he had just been filming on his own time, he could have sold it for quite a bit of money.
However, I'm so proud of him! He takes such pride in his work! Thanks for letting me brag a little. I'm sorry if this is inappropriate!
Look at you, Elin. You are going to be a designer before you know it!PNO4TE said:
