I guess it did sound funny if you didn't realize that goldfish was plural. What I meant to say is that a new goldfish was added to our existing 4 goldfish and they started breeding. No turtle involved!

Thanks again for the good laugh. They say that is important for good health.

When I came back to the smilies, they weren't displaying properly in the list. Not sure if I have a virus or worm, but I've checked and nothing was found! They look fine again now.Tammi67 said:Look at you, Elin. You are going to be a designer before you know it!

The joy of having a stillborn child that couldn't get baptized. We know where he is and that Mya has her own personal Big Brother Angel.
We now go to a Non-Denominational and love it.
I get so angry when the church does things to alienate people. I do not understand why we don't always welcome people and console people with open arms! Mac, I am glad you found a more supportive church!PNO4TE said:My sister in PA just called to tell me that our Mom was taken to the hospital late tonight. She is completely unresponsive but the last report was that her vital signs are OK. Not sure what the heck that means. She is 85 years old and not in the best of health. We had to move her from Assisted Care to a nursing home in August and she has not been doing well lately.
I have not seen my Mom since the fall and was planning to go up next weekend. So I am feeling badly now. It is so very hard to live 6 hours away from those you love and have your own family and life that has to be maintained. Anyway... please keep us in your thoughts. Thanks, friends.

The tumor was mostly on the surface, and they were able to remove it without any problems with speech (we knew that it was sitting on a speech center and SIL had to be partially alert during surgery so that they could make sure speech was still ok). The doctor warned that this type of tumor could reapper in 10-15 years but was very upbeat about how everything went today!!!
Thank you all for your kind words and concern.
Beth
