Both Paul and I cracked up at the shearling sheep "streaking" through the game... pretty original.

   WOOHOO!

My only thoughts, then I need to study (for real).

Ben wasn't the best, but he got it done when it mattered most (ie, important, huge 3rd downs). We'll take that, especially since it ended in a win.

The Seahawks touchdown that was taken back should have counted. But it wouldn't have changed the outcome.

Mike Holmgrem is so overrated. This is twice now that he's taken one of the most talented teams POSSIBLE and lost big games, mostly on coaching. Because, let's be honest.... Pittsburgh didn't look like Pittsburgh all the time, and the Seahaws really didn't make mistakes. They were just out coached.

And finally, Porter tackled Stevens to (essentially) end the game. After all the hoohah this week, I couldn't have asked for a better ending. :goodvibes

I missed the Clydesdales. That came on while I was doing laundry. My DH did laugh at that one. Are you talking about the caveman FedEx commercial?

I missed more than I thought. I tried to do the laundry when the game was on. However, I don't remember the Ameriquest or Magic Fridge ones either.

Ill try to explain the AmeriQuest ones...
The one it showed two doctors and a patient in a hospital room..patient looked to be sleeping, in a coma, or something of that sort...The drs had the defibrilators out and used that to "shock" a fly..he did so and said something along the lines of "hes dead now." At that time, the wife and kid of the patient walked in...and it said "Dont judge us too quickly and we wont judge you."

The second was the same company..A lady was on a plane (window seat) and the two guys next to her were sleeping..she got up to go to the bathroom and was climbing over the guys when the plane hit turbulence and the lady fell right on top of a guy and the lights went one..same line about not judging too quickly came on.

Ok. I saw the first one. Didn't realize it was Ameriquest. Missed the second one.

I hope I get to see the streaker sheep. My DH had a belly laugh over this one. I ran into the living room but it was over by the time I got here.

I am not sure I agree that the outcome of the game would not have been different - In my opinion and more importantly the Seahawks opinion - Pittsburgh also did not score their first touchdown

I am a big believer that when you get two crushing calls like that against you- it is hard to keep your momentum going -

I am not saying Pittsburgh didn't play a good game and that those calls should have changed the outcome - I just know how it feels when the other team seems to be getting breaks on the calls and that it can change your attitude

I have a big chore to try and talk her out of Coco for the baby if a girl. Now -- I hope it is a BOY. :rotfl:

OT: I keep missing the Disney commercials. Dang it !!!!!! Hope someone can replay it. On one of the threads someone said they would, but only after the game is over. I hope I can find it.

My little one's name is Colby. We have nick named him Coco. Colby can be used for either a boy or a girl so maybe you could push her in that direction.

Yep, I could picture them (especially the second one). :rotfl:

It was quite hilarious!!!

I have to ask, my family and i were laughing when one of the announcers was talking and all we heard was "well they just put the sheets up around him so they could pull his pants down and tape his groin up.." it was so random and we were :rotfl2:

Yeah, well... Pittsburgh won a game against Indy with several terrible calls against them, too (that were confirmed by the NFL)... I agree it's tough, but it's possible. And the ball definitely broke the plane before Ben was pushed back out. If that was wrong, it will come out in the next few days as well.

I think I need to back away now..... we're just gonna celebrate here. I know how it feels to feel like you were "Robbed".... I'm a Raiders fan and can I just say "tuck rule"? That's all.... I know there are Patriots fans here, so I'll hush there  but I'm just saying I know how you feel there.

Elin and Tammi...... I know you're celebrating with us!

Goodnight DDAs..... wish me luck tomorrow, and I'll check back in after my test. Don't talk too much :goodvibes

My DD17 thought that was hilarious too. She couldn't believe they "announced it". I don't follow football so don't know which player it was. However, he injured his groin, so they were taping it up. They then had him ride a stationary bike to "loosen it up" so that he could go back in the game.

i forget which player it was,,i guess it was just funny because we had been talking about something else and heard that..i was like " did they really just say that?!"

How long has it been on? I missed the beginning because I didn't want to watch the postgame stuff.

How cute! Did you get any pictures?

Here is the picture of my "mickey" flowers -- the flowers have died so the picture is of the ribbon and the hidden mickey. Look closely and you can kind of see it...
