I so miss NYC's skyline.
How is that WOD compared to the one in DTD?
It had a wide variety of stuff but less of each thing. At WDW items have their own room, their is a jewelry room, food room, pin room. At NYC items have smaller spaces but their is stuff in NYC that isn't at WDW.
At NYC there are three levels. The top floor is character meet and greets, on the hour for about 20 minutes they have character meet and greets it was Goofy Santa and Chip and Dale, I didn't see them because it was about 1:30pm when we got to the top level and others didn't feel like waiting till 2pm to see the characters, so we didn't. Had we known that we would have headed straight to the third floor, that was probably the announcement they were running but we couldn't understand it due to the Christmas music and all the other shoppers. On the third floor they also have the fancy expensive paintings and statues, that have their own separate store at WDW. They also had snowglobes, bobbleheads, wedding things and other cermaic type things on the top level.
Second floor had Mr. Potato head station, hats, pirate section, stitch section, pooh section, plush, mostly toys and games.
The first floor had New York City themed Disney merchandise, clothing, ornaments, pins, food, kitchen stuff, princess/ girls section with build your own crowns.
The only thing I bought was a Christmas ornament, there was other stuff I would have liked but didn't want to carry it all day.
