Well it's 2:20am and it looks as if we escaped the flooding of the basement. :cool1: However the tree did just come down. Thankfully the only thing it took out was our fence. So tomorrow we will spend cleaning it up and repairing the fence. I was so scared that it was going to hit the house, specifically Emma's room.

Here's some :wizard: :grouphug: and :cheer2: for everyone here. I know I haven't been around a whole lot and when I have it seems as if I get overwhelmed trying to keep up. My head is just not working so well right now. Please know that you all are in my thoughts and prayers each and every day. you guys!!!

Have a great holiday weekend.

I'm glad that you came through with only a damaged fence. How scary to come so close to Emma's room. Be careful during the clean up tomorrow and I hope you are dried out soon.

I nearly fell off of my chair when Ozzy's photo came up :rotfl:
Nice to "see" you Mac!

You do look awfully like Bill Gates though... maybe you're related...

We'll be there the 12th through the 18th, leaving early on the 18th. We'll be at the Christmas Party on the 13th celebrating DH's birthday.

We arive late on the 4th, leave early on the 17th... and are celebrating my birthday at the Christmas party on the 13th!

How wierd is that?? Looks like we may have found the time we'll both be near June's bench... I haven't quite ironed out plans for that evening yet but shall we try and meet up there?

I  this idea Denise. This spun off into another idea in my head.

What about making a sign to have the characters hold up that says we miss you June hope you feel better soon or we'll see you soon. Or something along those lines and take a picture with lots of different characters holding the sign. Get all the pictures printed and put them into a photo album or scrapbook for her from all the different characters.

I was thinking something along those lines last night too.

The other thing was... do you think the rest of the creative disigns people would mind if we started a thread for all of June's messages and well wishes. I know there have been several on here in the last day or so, which she probably won't find as they're buried under our banter! If we pulled them all out into one thread and pm'd her the link she could read them - or we could email the link to Melanie and she could print them out and take them to June.

What do y'all think?

I think his face shows his upcoming plan!

Actually... now you come to mention it, I think you could be right! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Amy if you ever see that look again... stand clear!

Or else maybe you should invest in one of these for when you carry him in public...

UPDATE ON CAROLINE!
I just got a PM from Dawn, and I told her I'd post for her.

Thanks for the suggestion of the Apnea Monitor. The dr said he has no problem sending us home with one. He said the insurance won't like it, but with the episode she had he wouldn't have any problem justifying it. He said Home Health will come out and work with us on it.

He's increasing her Reglan to the maximum dose and said maybe we'll go home tomorrow, but he has no problem keeping her a few more days if he's not satisfied with her progress. She was spitting up while he was in here so he saw everything first hand. He said his goal is to keep it from being so forceful that it comes up through her nose.

We've already talked to the nurse about getting signed up for the infant CPR class. I've had it several times but I definitely need a refresher. We also talked to him about what else we needed to know in case it happened again and he said just have lots of bulb syringes where we can easily get to them and suction her nose and mouth.

We also discussed that when both Christopher and Caroline had these episodes they were strapped in the infant carrier and she hasn't been put in that position since she's been in the hospital. He said tomorrow we're going to feed her and put her in and watch what happens. I'm just so thankful that we can go through some of these scenarios while we're in the hospital. I'm still skittish about being home with her, even with the monitor.

We're so blessed to have a high level NICU here. I just took it for granted that there were hospitals like this everywhere. My MIL is on the Board of Directors here and she educated me on how specialized things are here. We've also been very lucky that the head Neonatologist has been here for the last few days, and will be here throughout the weekend. We absolutely love this dr.

It seems so strange that football starts tomorrow and we're not a part of it at all. We gave our tickets to my SIL and her husband. This game won't be on TV so we hope to catch it on the radio or possibly the Internet. I had to laugh last night, though. Brian's mom brought us a gift from family friend. She made Caroline these beautiful bibs and burp cloths, and one of the cloths had a purple and gold tiger print band at the bottom and had "I spit purple and gold" embroidered on it. How appropriate on all accounts :teeth: I love the new picture of the kids in their crimson! It's the wrong color, but they're still too cute for words :goodvibes

Thanks again for the advice and support. I know things could be much worse than they are, but she's my baby and I just can't imagine my life without her. I'm so scared because I still feel this is a life threatening condition for her. I know you understand that feeling as well. We went through this with Christopher so we know what we're facing.

Thanks for the update Denise.

And I'm sending more :grouphug: and :wizard: and prayers for Caroline.

It sounds like she has an amazing group of people looking after her :grouphug:

It may not be allowed over there, but here they are still allowed.

It would make sense that you couldn't according to the rules. But it would be a very hard thing to police as who wants to be felt up to determine if you are wearing one.

Ah see I read it in the paper and it said you could over here but not over there... hmm perhaps not at all... I assumed they'd spot it with some scanner or other... or actually just advise you not to wear them...

Beth - you take the best pictures - thanks for sharing them... getting really excited for my trip now!

Bernadette, Anne Marie, and I met at the fountain across from Pirates. I was there a few minutes early, so I took a few photos while waiting.

Hi everyone--I just need to vent-so feel free to skip this post!

On Wednesday, I start my senior year of college. This is my last semester of classes, as I will begin student teaching in january. Tonight, I get an email that my Friday education class (required to graduate) may be cancelled due to an emergency with the professor. There is one other time to take it, when i already have class, so I cannot make it..If I dont take this class, I wont graduate.
I have been talking to alot of people from my classes and no one has any clue what is going on...They said they dont want to reschedule this class, which really messes us all up..
on top of that, our advisor left last semester, so we dont even have anyone to email to see what to do!

Sorry for the vent guys---im just stressing!

Well that's a royal pain in the butt! How can they cancel a class you need to complete to graduate?? I hope you get it all sorted out - here's some :wizard: to help you out

Sounds great, we have a 5:30 ADR at Concourse and will be taking the monorail over after that.

Good Morning everyone,

Just wanted to stop by and say hi before I head out to work. I'm glad Ernesto wasn't too vicious, and I'm very glad your tree missed the house Robyn. Hope everyone has a great day,

Debbie
