Test Track presented by General Motors REOPENING JULY 22!

/
Did the multipass LL for Test Track sell out on July 23? I tried to book it today and it is greyed out.

I'm disappointed the design your own car portion is gone. My kids loved designing the cars and seeing whose did better. It's not like they made the ride track longer so it just seems like they took something away without getting anything in return.
I’m trying to keep a positive attitude but it’s a big loss for our family as well. Our kids loved competing to max out their scores on different attributes and winning the most challenges, and I loved that it actually taught them some principles of automotive design and efficiency. Lamenting its loss appears to be the minority position, but you’re definitely not alone!

Are you saying LLMPs for Test Track are all gone 07/22-07/25? Does TT 3.0 have a standby line?
Our window starts tomorrow and we're only staying until 07/27. ☹️
We were able to prebook our LLMP's yesterday morning and TT was already booked solid for the 22nd, 23rd, 24th. As of today also include 25th and part of 26th as booked. We were able to book it on the 26th which was our 6th day of our stay (day 1 being arrival day)

On the 23rd we just plan to do standby, or by some magic snag a LL day-of.

As a side note, we have decided that we'll just need to stand in line for a few rides. We don't fork over the cash for single LL's like Tron, Guardian's, FOP, and ROTR. I loathe that they are charging so much for single attractions, almost as much as a LLMP in some cases.

I liked it too and I think I am one of the few who realy liekd TT 2.0 over 1.0, however the technology was becoming dated and it didn't work on-ride half the time. A lot of people weren't even scanning in at loading. I enjoyed it though, but it's probably time to move on. Maybe they could have come up with something new. I am trying to remain spoiler-free on 3.0 so I don't really know what it's like yet.

Today was my first day to try for the virtual que. I was not successful. As others have stated I’ve been able to get them in past for Star Wars as well as guardians but nothing today. Part of it was a moment of hesitation. I hit refresh and it was thinking and I hit join and it brought a new page… I though I’m in for that moment til I saw the join virtual Que button again and in that one second hesitation, I lost out.

The design phase is the only thing we liked better about TT 2.0 versus 1.0. We will miss the design phase as well. After some point, after riding it so much, our family competed designing the most outrageous looking cars and didn't focus on any performance criteria. It was so much fun. When I mentioned to our family that the design part is gone, everyone was bummed about it, but on the other hand are excited to see the new version.

Does anyone know if they are being strict about arrival times for the VQ or as long as your group has been called they’ll let you in later.

Also, if we join the VQ in the morning can we change our park reservation (after we get it) to another park and then hop over when we are called?

Wishing you all luck to snag an unplanned and unscheduled bonus during your stay, grabbing a spot in the TT virtual queue. My only guess is that they are limiting capacity (thereby making VQ really hard to get) as they further prove things out and make the ride as robust as possible before official planned open on the 22nd.
