That doesn't sound fun at all! I can't believe the university isn't doing something to reschedule the class since it sounds like a bunch of people are relying on having it this semester. Lots of that things work out for the best and someone from the school steps up to help. for you too to help ease the stress.

They are g oing to have to do something...they are going to have alot of angry students..and angry parents who are paying the tuition!

Hey everyone

Just thought I would stop in and thank you all for the well wishes and prayers

I have been having full blown anxiety attacks all week and actually begged Steve not to drive to the hospital - I told him I was going to tell them I ate a HUGE breakfast and might be pregnant to avoid surgery - my nurse was laughing and said to me at one point - "you do realize this is elective surgery don't you?"

But don't worry - once the gave me my "happy shot" it was smooth sailing - I was out for about an hour and left the hospital about an hour later - I came home and slept all afternoon and now I contemplating dinner -I have felt pretty nausous and walking in the house made me throw up but I have taken some phenergan and I am getting pretty hungry -

the doctor told Steve he was able to fix it and it was pretty bad and definately needed to be fixed - and I should be back to new pretty soon - I have 6 weeks of physical therapy

I got a shot of mrphine at about 2:00 at the hospital but I haven't needed any more pain medicine yet - I am sure I just jinxed myself - I am so exhausted - I might just go back to sleep!!!

So glad your surgery came out well. Sounds like you'll be up and about for your trip.

I'm trying to force myself to eat some toast. since the last time I ate something was around 1pm cst I tried drinkin a soda around 5pm to see if that would help but no luck.

Sorry to hear you can't sleep. How is the search for a new endocrinologist(spelling, I hope its right or pretty close.) going?

O.K..........all caught up now. The high school game was good but we lost with a score 6 - 0..............BUT......the 6 points were two field goals so I think our defense did a really good job holding them. I think they need to work on moving the ball more on offense. But that is just my opinion

Thanks for the update on Caroline and Kate. Maybe we can hear some good news about June over the weekend.

Sorry to hear you can't sleep. How is the search for a new endocrinologist(spelling, I hope its right or pretty close.) going?

I have a call in to my primary doctor to see if i can go see an endo in philly--i seemed to have had good luck with them since i am a "rare" case...the endo's around here seem to have a hard time listneing to me--Hopefully ill figure it out soon!

real sore when I first get up in the morning, but was I've been up for about half an hour it gets a little better.
I went to walmart and target this afternoon. I decided to try walking around instaed of riding the motorized cart. by the time I left walmart it was throbbing. I even walked slow.
at this rate it might not be well by nov when we go to disney.

Thanks, I'm just thrilled! I'm so excited because Jamie is from upstate New York. I'm not sure of the town. If she decides to have the wedding at her home, I might be able to meet some of the NY DDA'ers, depending on the location. Stay tuned, people!

I have felt like that several times over the past 3 days. twice while I was riding in my truck on wed. and twice today while I was driving. I also feel like that right now. hence the reason I'm still up.

I can't imagine how scared you are Dawn. I truly believe Caroline is going to be just fine. I'm so glad that Denise told you about the monitor. I hope you are getting some rest... Hang in there. Soon you will have your little home with you.

Because I started getting thyroid tumors when i was 8..usually people dont start having thyroid problems until they are much older than that...
I had a couple tumors when i was 8,,,a couple more when i was 15,,then surgery again when i was 16 to fix scar tissue...My entire thyroid was removed by the time i was 15..

Since all of the surgeries, my thyroid levels have to be checked often because my body doesnt stay at a constant level, even when i take my medicine as directed--its a pain!

thats okay when I told my mom that I wasn't going to work tomorrow and she asked why and I told her I was feeling icky her first question was are you pregant. When I called in to work and talked to the charge nurse she asked the same question. I wish unlike the other Jennifer's I'm tring to get pregant
