Hello, sorry I have been off for a couple days as I am having family problems. Hubby and I are fighting quite a bit lately and since August I have been getting migraines at least every other day (sometimes several days in a row. :guilty: ) I hate to ask as I know June, Dawn and Kate need it more than I do. But I could use some PD DH wants to try and have his older boys 13 and 15 come live here again. They have been back in IA (where their mom lives) for 5 years. I just don't know if I can do it. I have a lot of health problems that have made it hard for me this year and we're still trying to get Zachary the help he needs. The dr's are leaning towards high functioning autism on the spectrum. DH is partners with 2 others in a company and works major hours to get it growing. I am exhausted and feel overwhelmed with everything going on with Zack and now he wants to move out two teens who are having adolescent problems. :confused3 I feel like a horrible person but I'm at the end of my rope and feel like much more is going to break me. I told him I don't think I can do it and he is mad at me. I just don't know how to explain to him as he doesn't deal with Zachary so he doesn't understand why I don't want any more stress right now. :confused3 He makes me feel like a failure because I'm not superwoman. This may end our marriage as I feel like he needs to at least hear me for us to figure this out.
Christi :grouphug: :wizard: and continued prayers

Welcome to the Club! I joined a little over 7 years ago when I found that an infant seat plus two boosters didn't fit too well in a Jetta. To make matters even more uncool, I'm still driving that same 1999 Dodge Caravan.

At least you get to drive to Disney in yours!

Mine was a Dodge Grand Caravan but only had the 3rd sliding door not on both sides. That drove me crazy so we traded it for a 4 door Chrysler Concord. I miss the extra seats in my van but I don't miss that 3rd door.

:wizard: I will definitely pray for peace. I was terrified of c-sections (the whole being cut open) and hyperventilated while they were trying to give me an epidural for it. My OB asked me a few ? and put me on antidepressants right after the baby was born to prevent the severe postpartum I had with my first couple. I hope she is able to be at peace with it when/if the time comes. Has she tried the positions to get the baby to flip?
she has tried everything she can think of and that is been suggested to her.

Good morning everyone! :sunny:

I think I officially lost my cool :smooth: status yesterday. We bought a Town and Country minivan after realizing there was no way we could comfortably drive to Disney in February after being packed in our Escape all weekend. I'm so depressed. :rotfl: :rotfl:
that is the minivan I am thinking of getting. as jeff has a hand-me down from his parents that is about to need alot of major work. he wants a truck. I have a truck already. so I told him he could have my truck and I would get a minivan. a friend got one of those at work and it is real nice. she drove from here to michigan in it this summer she said it got about 26 miles to the gallon.

Today is the first day of school here. Laura had to leave just before 7:00 am. Matthew was out the door around 7:40 am. I walked Miles up to school at 8:45 am. Miles is wearing the shirt that I made him for the last day of school in June. Now I have to get a few things done!

Mine is a Grand Caravan, too. We were looking at the regular ones, not the Grands. Then we took the kids out with us one day. Even at 5 and 8, they didn't have enough room in the third seat of the regular one. I can't imagine not having all four doors. That is practically a necessity, isn't it? The nice thing about the sliders for the kids is that I don't have to worry about them opening it into the car parked next to me. We really do need a new car fairly soon, though. I had an '89 VW Jetta with well over 120,000 miles on it (the odometer stopped working around 120,000) that we traded in for the '99 Caravan. I don't think that I'm going to get to '09 with this one, though. Plus we need to empty out the account we are saving for the new car before we start filling out financial aid forms for college.

Thanks! I don't know why that last one is so small. I must have resized it twice without realizing it. They are going into 10th, 8th, and 2nd grades. The time went so fast!

Kelli - I love the picture of your kids with goofy in your sig. I was looking at some photos of Main Street on the DIS last night and sought out the Goofy bench to see if anyone was there... and then this morning I was on the TPAS thread and I saw one called "How is June?" And I thought, wow what's that thread doing here?? Of course when I opened it it was asking about the month! But I think it just goes to show she's in my thoughts too :grouphug:
I was looking for a picture of me to email in for work as they want pictures of all of the employees. I stumbled upon the picture of June and I in DC and I started :sad1:. To think that was less than 2 months ago. :sad2:

She has definitely been on my mind, as well as Kate, Caroline, and Christi.
Sending lots of prayers, :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: and :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: to all of them and anyone who else who can use them.

Deb-I should have read this when you posted it on 8/29 but I was on my way home from Disney. I was feeling like a very bad Mommy last night when I finally got around to having Lizzie try on what she wanted to wear the first day of school I realized there was no way she could wear that skirt. :scared1: Then she wanted to wear another skirt but the one shirt that went with it she stained at WDW. YIKES....well we finally found something she was happy wearing but it made me realize that while she's got tons of T's she doesn't have many polos or other type shirts for school that fit. I find it really hard to find pants to fit her too and really hard to find plain pants for her. I really hate some of the styles out now. I want her to look 7 not 17. So I stopped on the way home from work tonight at a Talbots outlet and bought her 2 pairs of pants-1 size 7 with adjustable waist. They were nice and simple chinos and she loves them because they are torquoise (sp?sorry Amy). The others were a boy's size 8 slim but they were HUGE on her and didn't have a waist adjuster so those have to go back. I got her a couple of polos at Old Navy. The 8's looked really small so I bought 10's which are a bit big but then they'll fit her next spring. You'ld think I'd learn my lesson and have Joe try his stuff on but he doesn't start until Thursday and I'm pretty sure I'm all set with him. Have you tried slims from Old Navy with the waist adjusters? I got Joe some chinos from the Gap after Easter when he sqeazed into the pair he wore but I ended up returning those when the ones from Old Navy had a better fit and were cheaper too.

We went to a big mall over the weekend. I thought that since they had a Sears, Filene's, Gap etc that I would have luck. I was actually appauled (sp?) at the pants they were selling. They look worse than the stuff I throw out after being their play pants. They were either really faded, full of holes or covered in paint splats. All Chris could say is that they look like a ss. I'm very thankful that my Mom had saved lots of our old pants, even old they are in much better shape than the new stuff.

Deb
