Beth, to be honest, I have no idea if DH was using his flash or not, as he was the one taking the photos. As there is one picture (the one of her and I together) that is really dark, I'm guessing that maybe he did use the flash. If he did, it didn't seem to bother her.

She was amazing! (And we did her little chant that she says over and over while making them the rest of the day!) I'm just so mad at myself for not taking better care of my swan!

I let Miles EAT his dog the other day. It had broken a little anyway, and I figured that the memories were more important than the item.

Great shots, keep em coming! Did your kids ride ToT or RnR? None of my kids would ride it. Your ToT guy really looks the part!

TOT has been Laura's favorite ride since she was 4. I still can't believe she talked me into letting her try it at 4! Miles and Matthew have each tried it once and just didn't like it. This was the first year Miles was tall enough for RnR. He loved it! Michael can even ride that without getting sick, so we all did it a number of times.

Hi, everyone. School was WILD today. Let me tell ya, 12 two year olds makes triplets look like a cake walk! The kids are very sweet, and I think it will be a great class. I am wiped out. John's got Fantasy Football draft tonight, so it's just me and the kiddos. About to give them a bath, put a frozen pizza in the oven, and go to bed early.

I just saw something about Christmas ornaments? Well, you know I'm in since I'm the biggest Christmas fanatic there is! I'd love to participate. We bought a 10 foot tree for this year, so I'm going to need a lot of new ornaments.

Well since it's the DDA we could do this almost anyway we wanted to:just for holidays, once a month, theme months (I do this myself because I like trying to fit things into a theme), all disney, all adults, all kids, a mix.


Let's keep talking about it and then tomorrow night I'll come to the rest of you all with some sort of plan...how does that sound?

Glad to hear you survived, Denise! I'm WAY back trying to catch up between everything else, and just happened upon the photos of your room. LOVE IT!! Brings back memories, as my mom ran the preschool at our UMC for a number of years, and when I was old enough, I got to help set-up the rooms. What a nice space it is! Yea, Miss Denise!

I think it sounds like fun! I like the idea of themes per month or something. You know, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc. We could do exclusively Disney, or mix it up with other stuff as well. I think it would be fun to include kids as well. I know that my kids would love to do this with other DDA kids.

A LOT!!!!!! They stood outside and kept peeking in the door or calling the room to check on the kids. It was pretty funny. Although I was right there with them 4 years ago when I dropped mine off for the first time. Headed up to give baths. I think a Disney movie is in order after dinner.

Maybe have two exchanges......one with just adults and the other with just kids. You would have to keep the master list and do all the drawing to see who gets whom.
Maybe you should start a thread for anyone interested.

We need to set a timeframe for the drawing of the names and the cutoff time for the mailing of the ornaments. Wouldn't it be so cool to have a "online" Christmas Party. We could all have our gifts in front of us and open then at the same time. Wouldn't the boards go crazy then !!!
