So true...DH & I are celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary this year. He asked if me if I would like an eternity ring (the 3 diamonds) & I thought with that kind of money we could have a trip to Disney so I chose the trip rather than a ring. :cheer2:

Hey, I'd like both, but I do have to choose so it's always "experiences over things".

I agree!

I am writing you out of concern for my friends, Vicki, Terry & June.

First, I need to tell you how I know them. We met on the internet. We all LOVE Disney. This love brought us all to a message board - THE DIS - where we all stumbled upon a thread about designing t-shirts for our Disney trips. We started to chat and the next thing we knew - there were about 50 of us regularly posting and becoming friends. Good friends - the kind you can count on for anything - the kind that you know will be there in the middle of the night.

One day Vicki posted pictures of her Pal Mickey - I told her that I should take PM to WDW on a trip that several of us were planning but that she could not attend - so she could be a part of the trip.

And Pandora's box was opened!!!!!

Vicki decided that her PM should visit our group of friends - known as the Disney Design Addicts (DDA) - and begin planning an itinerary that would literally take him around the world.

So far - so good - but then her obsession began to become evident. I was the first recipient of Pal Mickey - he came with (VICKI COULD YOU SEND ME THE LIST?)

She has bought for him on ebay: (VICKI COULD YOU SEND ME THE LIST?)

and is now planning a wedding for Mickey and Minnie at WDW: VICKI COULD WE HAVE AN INVITE TO SHOW HIM?

Thinking she was having too much fun with her Pal - our friends Terry and June got in on the action... and now have completely outfitted their own PMs!!!

Dr. Phil - their families' think they have gone off the deep end - we had no idea that they would have so much fun with their pals!!!

Are the nuts for having found a way for us all to share stories, get to know each other even better and have fun? or should they tell their families they are perfectly normal?!?!!?

PS: We don't you to look into the bigger issue that we might all have with Disney - isn't it normal to spend hours upon hours planning your trip, decorating your house, making t-shirts, autograph books...

If you don't send this I will. :rotfl2:

I can copy and paste with the best of them.:teeth:

We're still here. Kevin, my mom, my MIL, my SIL, my niece, and Alyssa are all keeping me company, so ODTT is definitely out of the question. :teeth:

Part of me just wishes they would never have suggested this induction! I'm such a planner and then they turn around and throw a six hour (and counting) delay into my day! Now I'm all worried about who's going to (successfully) put Alyssa to bed, because I doubt Kevin will be able to sneak home by 9 p.m. at this rate. Grrrrrrr.

And, I really want Matthew's first birthday to fall on 07/07/07!! It could be a gambling theme! :rotfl:

Okay, I'll stop whining now.
Amy :)

I do have your address you know.... and I can sign your name to it...

Oh I can send a letter from everyone that I have and address for on the DDA, know that would grab his attention. :lmao:

Can you say Paula the Planner.
Oh no the planning gets done well in advance. It's just the physical stuff like packing and cleaning, etc. :teeth:

:grouphug: It is such a pain to plan and have things throw a wrench into them. Zachary was due in the beginning of Dec. so I bought all these cute first Christmas outfits and stocking and stuffies. I went 3 weeks over, they finally scheduled an induction and than I went into labor. He was born Dec. 27 after Christmas. :headache:

Time to go everyone finally dragged themselves out of bed. DH woke me up early with noise so I couldn't get back to sleep and enjoy everyone sleeping in. :furious:
I'll check in during naptime to see what's up w/ Amy.

Well folks, I am off.

I need to review for my Notary class test tomorrow (yuck I hate tests). I also need to go look for something for Vicki (no I am not telling you all what it is). The I have to go to Mac Donalds and start getting our pirate: toys, they girls are all over these toys.

Check in later

You definitely have a right to whine today!!!! Don't worry about Alyssa. She can adapt. Besides, you won't be there listening to her scream! :teeth: You'll be getting to listen to other screaming, but of the best kind. :goodvibes

Oh, I didn't mean you, of course. ;)

Keep us posted.

We will not have to go to McDonalds until the pirates promotion is over!!! WOO HOO!!

We have not seen it at our house - and I know that I will probably be banned for what I am about to post:

I do not find Orlando Bloom or Johnny Depp to be all that!!! I saw Orlando in Elizabethtown and while he is cute - I really just don't get it!!

It's not the camera it is the person taking the pictures that can make or break the image.

This is SO TRUE! Since we got our new camera, I've been trying to make Bob "take a big step forward" with all of his picture taking. You'd be suprised at how "one big step forward" with people in the picture really helps!
