I feel so alone and unhelpful right now because I am at home with the girls, DH and all the rest of the family are with SIL T at my MIL house. DH has gone to get the Priest for SIL T last rights. I have made the calls DH asked me to and along with that I ask for you to say a prayer for her one last time.

Sounds like the duck tour was amazing fun!!

I was so glad to meet all of you on Saturday...just a bit sad we couldn't stay on. Pal Mickey Brooksie was thrilled we only had him from Saturday on as he about passed out with all that we did those two days...and he has a new song "I've got a brand new girlfriend" and I will put the pics up tomorrow of his brand new girlfriend.

So we were waiting for Steve before we were going to take the Metro. The watch comparison begins. Out of 10 of us all but 4 had a Disney watch on the rest had no watch on at all. I am pretty sure that I got the right names to the watch. However, if I put the wrong name to the watch will you please let me know. I will change it.

So I would just post the link to my photbucket account but somehow I managed to get the pictures into the same folder 2 to 3 times plus they are not cooperating and rotating and not allowing me to move them out of the main folder. So it is kind of a mess in there, I will post the link at a later time after I get the disaster straightened out. I figured alot of what I have is similar so I would just post some pics I haven't seen others post.

Chanon, Layne is so adorable. I love the blocks that come with that Hippo they are so cute and Molly has played with them since she was about 6 months old. Way to go. It seems like he definitely approved!

I loved how much Steve enjoyed everything we did those two days. What a trooper! I had no idea he was in the picture until after I had taken it.

The DIS is acting up for me tonight. I have typed this entire post twice and had to reboot my computer when I tried to post it. This time I am saving it in Word just in case!

For those of you who are interested, there are Duck Tours (or something similar) in many locations. This is just a partial list I am sure!

UGH!!!!

I can't believe this -

next year my entire family and our in-laws decided to take one big trip together - we found a date that worked for all 10 families!! We were so excited

so today - my MIL calls - Steve's cousin planned his wedding for during the vacation - and it is a package week so it isn't like we can just go a day later than everyone else- well we can - but we lose the money and there is a program so we will miss the beginning -

so now my in-laws can't go at all and Steve will probably stay home and go to the wedding and fly down to meet us while I take the kids for the beginning

I am upset on so many levels - I am bummed my in-laws can't go; I am bummed I am missing the wedding, I am bummed that I will have to drive alone 12 hours with my kids; I am bummed that Steve will miss some of our vacation

it is also at the end of the week that he will be at his DC conference and we had decided that the kids and I would go with him and then head straight on vacation and now we can't do that!

They could have picked just about any other date and it would not have mattered!!!!

I hope the cousin changes his date. I agree that it is frustrating because it is so hard to coordinate 10 families schedules.

the Dayton/Chicago franchise is for sale - maybe the DDA should buy a Duck!!!! and then we can hire Kent to run it for us - and of course Tammi would be our managing partner!!!!!!

It's amazing that he is one and is already in 18-20 month clothes!

Having to go thru this so soon after the little girl you knew had passed on , I cannot even to imagine the pain you are going thru. Just know that our love is here for you and our hearts are breaking for you. Join back when you can or just read when you have a moment and need some fun reading time.

I know exactly what you mean about photobucket... that is why it took me so long too. It was transferring the pictures into on album multiple times and would not rotate for me too. Maybe it is us, but I tend to think there was something wrong with photobucket yesterday.
