I'm home and 100+ pages behind but the DC ladies caught me up until Saturday so I am only going back about 25 pages and see what I've missed since then!!

Welcome home, Theresa! Sure was fun to meet you in DC.

Paula hugs & prayers :grouphug:

Chanon love the pictures!

Terry I have the same tinkerbell watch!

Hope everyone has a great day.Time to get ready for work. Stay cool everyone :sunny:

Janet,
I just love my watch. I just hope I can find another band when this one wears out and it will not be as hard the first time. I am hoping this one lasts way more than 5 years. I do try to not wear it as often since I do have three other Tink watches :rotfl: I would be going back to see Mario at Mouse Gears in Epcot if I did need another :lmao:

I feel so alone and unhelpful right now because I am at home with the girls, DH and all the rest of the family are with SIL T at my MIL house. DH has gone to get the Priest for SIL T last rights. I have made the calls DH asked me to and along with that I ask for you to say a prayer for her one last time.
Thank you all so very much for helping me during this time.

:grouphug: Paula. I hope that your family can all find some peace soon.

Our lunches here are $1.60/day at the elementary level and $1.75 at the middle school and high school. We can buy any of number of lunches at a time on one check to be used as desired. I always buy at least a few so that in case lunch is forgotten, they can get something. For Matthew who was buying almost daily, I bought a month's worth at a time. An adult can buy a lunch for $2.50 (I think). I have gone in for lunch with the kids (only in the elementary school :rotfl: ), but I brought lunch with me.

Beth
Our elementary lunches are $1.75 and we can also prepay. It is so conveinent to do it this way. But I really think that our school lunches leave alot to be desired I swear Emma gained a lot of weight and the only thing that changed was that she was buying school lunches. I can see a big difference in her from the beginning of the year to the end of the year. They have fruit/veggies/salad with the meals but I can't explain it and neither can her pediatrician. So we are laying off of them this year to see if it makes a difference.

Have a good day, DDA... another scorcher here and luckily I will be inside all day long. Talk to you all later one.

Chanon, Layne is so adorable. I love the blocks that come with that Hippo they are so cute and Molly has played with them since she was about 6 months old. Way to go. It seems like he definitely approved!
Inside the blocks were food! There were carrots and broccoli and pie to name a few. The adults loved em! BTW, it's Sunday. :rolleyes1 And I'm glad to hear that SW fares are coming down! I'd still be checking Delta too! I priced out some air for the 27th of August to the 31st of August from CLE to MCO yesterday...Oddly it was only $157 RT (and that's traveling on a Sunday NS flight with CO)!!! Makes me want to go then too! So don't give up! I'm still watching Delta for you too... And I'll send you an updated itin. Did Molly like the autographs? :teeth:

I just wanted to say that I really enjoyed myself on the DC trip. Meeting everyone was so much fun. Someone said that we all talk like we type or type like we talk :goodvibes
The Duck Tour was really neat, I learned a lot of things I did not know. A different perspective than just driving down and going to certain places. I know that Stephanie and I will plan a day to come back because a few new places have been added and we really want to see the Native American Museum and the Holocost Museum.
Meeting Steve was nice because he was so very gracious.

I must tell you that on the way down, Stephanie took an exit so we could make a pit stop and she was going to get a little something to eat. Well, we saw the sign for McDonalds and I told her to get into the left lane. Then Becky says that there is also a Chick Fill A. Well, she turned the wheel sped off towards the right lane going over three lanes to turn right into the parking lot :rotfl: :rotfl2: :lmao:

Good Morning to All

Paula - please let us know how the evening went for your SIL. I am so sorry that things are not working out for her. I am sure that a broken heart has a lot to do with her health going to quickly. Your family will remain in my prayers.

Lynn

I've been worried about something all morning and you ladies have been a nice distraction. Now that I can stop worrying I better get some laundry and house cleaning done. Thanks for keeping me company.

One more thing before I go, though. If y'all would keep my brother in your thoughts/prayers, I'd appreciate it. He's been having some severe abdominal pain and has been in the ER since 4am this morning. He's pretty stubborn so for him to go there means he's in a tremendous amount of pain. My mom said they gave him 3 shots of Dilaudin (I think that's the name, no clue how to spell it - it's a painkiller) and he's still having pain. He's had 2 hernia surgeries and has had gallbladder problems in the past. They don't think it's his gallbladder this time but they're sending him home with instructions to follow up with his PCP. We're not too happy about that, but what can you do?
Dawn, I hope your brother gets some relief and that they are able to pinpoint the exact cause of the pain.

And I can so picture Stephanie doing that now that I have met her. :rotfl:

Glynis

Tammi, Elin and I just said yesterday that we hadn't heard from Ellen lately

I just checked and she was logged on this morning

Hi everyone, Thanks for asking about me. I am still here, trying to read along. Work has still been hectic, but getting better. This week I am working a B shift, 3 til midnight, because they want the staff to cover more hours of the day, so we are taking turns doing a B shift.

Paula, so sorry about your SIL and :grouphug: to you. I don't know what else to say.

Amy and Kevin, Congratulations, Matthew is adorable, as is Alyssa, and you all look very happy.

The DC DDA trip looked awesome! I'm glad you all had a great time.

I will try to post more again, especially since this week I am home alone during the day, so it is easier to spend time on the DIS.

Yesterday I made ADRs for our January half-marathon trip. I am still excited, but nervous about doing the half, since I haven't been walking as much, and I seem to have too many aches and pains. But I paid for it, so I'll try. Hopefully I will start walking more again soon.

:grouphug: and :wizard: for anyone else that needs it. I should be able to keep up a little better now hopefully.

And oh! I am still looking forward to my Pal Mickey visit coming up soon.

Ellen

Definately not as good as everyone's DC pictures! (But it is a way to get my post count up!)
It's amazing that he is one and is already in 18-20 month clothes!

OK...time for me to head to bed. I'm exausted reading about your adventures in DC! It does make me want to really get together with everyone! Could you imagine if EVERYONE from this board got together?! Who would post?! Could you imagine Pal Mickey's bar tab?! :lmao:

That was Terra! I bought her 2Ts not long after her 1st birthday. Even now she is 3 and wearing 5Ts. My 4yo niece wears 4T and my just turning 2yo nephew wears 12-18mo! He's so tiny, but it's so dang cute. Great pics of the party. He's a cutie!

Chanon -- darling pictures of the party! And I love your gift -- those blocks will provide hours of fun!

For those of you that bought the Land's End backpack, can you get them at Sears?

The Sears near me closed, so I do everything on-line for Lands End. They didn't use to, but that may have changed since we lost our store. Sorry I can't help, but I can say their backpacks are awesome!
