The Dasani Girl is headed to the beach again! New pics added

okay just finished your TR and i found that i posted on page 53, i said i just skimmed through it, well this time, read it all, and enjoyed it,i was wondering why a few of the pictures looked familiar...especially that phone behind you photo...now i know why it looked familiar.

well just letting you know i am done now...no pressure, but are you done with mine.:rolleyes1

:goodvibes

I'm here too! Update away! I def think the creative boards are awesome for scrap booking ideas, you can even find people to make you graphics and stuff. You better post pics once you're done!

Me? Take pictures? Are you crazy? Of course I will!! :rotfl: :thumbsup2

Well the title fits that TR, they stole her again at Liberty Tree tavern, if you keep reading you will see that about half way through the trip. I t hink it is hilarious when the characters take people away with them, or follow them.

I am just finishing your dinner at ESPN club, those nachos are awesome, and you guys sure do love your ice cream, that is my kind of vacation.

there were some other things i was going to comment on, but now i forget, that is what i get for not reading it while it was being writen.:surfweb:

i should have taken notes on what i wanted to comment on.

oh well back to reading

im on page 36 now, i think your DH just won 175 dollars on bingo...i love bingo as well...always clean up when we play at christmas time with DW family.
:cool1:

I love character interaction too, but I get embarassed! I'm too shy I guess.

Yes ESPN nachos are gooood. And we do love our ice cream. We will regret that one day, I'm sure! :rotfl2:

I always do that! I always have a whole bunch of comments but then by the time I reply, I forget what I wanted to say. Hate that.

Okay i made it to page 40 now it is time to go home...but i did remember some comments this time.

Did the holding the hands over his eyes work for the ride, could he see more stuff in the dark, you never answered that one.

Also that chicken dinner looks really good...and good for you going on EE twice against your wishes.

i will finish it tomorrow

I thought I did answer that? He didn't keep his hands over his eyes because he started laughing when that guy told him not to be scared. We'll have to try it next time!

The chicken was really good! So were the quesadillas! Yum.

:guilty: I read every update but don't post all the time. I guess I feel like I have nothing interesting to say. Or could it be that I have a child in my lap and only have one hand to work the mouse...
Since, I'm posting...
I love all the pics, Logan is so cute. I was crying while I read your post about Jasper. It is a horrible experience but not your fault at all. My cat passed away and there was something I could do about it, but didn't act fast enough...talk about guilt. I called the vet that morning from work and told them the symptoms but they didn't have any openings. They never said that they thought he should be seen by the emer. vet. I called another vet office and told them the symptoms and they said to bring him in right away...this from an office I have never been to. Well, by the time I got home...he was gone.
On to scrapbooking...I would make groups of pictures that you would like on one or two pages and try to find stickers that match that theme. Have fun with it...they will love it!

I'm sorry you had to go through that. It's not your fault either, you tried to help him.

Every post here is greatly appreciate, interesting or not. I love them all!

im here! actually, im gonna message you on facebook, I have a question

:thumbsup2

Great installment of your report. I love your pics, however those two shrip do look gross!!!

Thank you. Yes, I didn't eat those shrimp. Yuck...I actually didn't eat any of the shrimp, I was too focused on the scrumptious crabs lol.

Im here too

and speaking of trip reports--if anyone awnts to read about an alaskan cruise--the link is in my sig!

Thanks. I did read your report awhile back! It was good. I want to take an Alaskan cruise one day :goodvibes

I absolutely knew what you were talking about. I think you have convinced me to try Dirty Dick's in September! The in-laws like to go to Billy's Oyster place and I hate, hate, hate oysters!!!!! :faint:

You haven't been to Dirty Dick's?? I thought you have. You definitely need to. My SIL got oysters, but I don't like them either. I can't get past the snotty look of them. :worried:

I am still here.

 Thank you.

You got started early! LOL. I was up until 2am reading your report and I still haven't finished. I find myself reading the comments back and forth on TRs so it usually takes me awhile. I'm about to get started on it again. I can't wait to read the baby report when I'm done! :hyper:

:surfweb:

Hey hun, love your scrapbook idea. You just wait until Logan is a bit older, you are so going to be his coolest, most favorite aunt ever... hes one lucky (and cute) little boy :goodvibes. Are you having a party for his birthday?

Sorry I haven't really got any ideas for you though. I started a scrap book when we got back from Disney last time. I spent every hour of every day for weeks making it and then had a break half way through and never went back to it. I just kept getting frustrated with it, ad I know :duck:. I have brought more stuff to make one for this time but whether I get round too it is any bodys guess :confused3. Saying that I am feeling quite creative lately, I have got this real urge to make some really cool cakes for a few birthdays coming up. The trouble is I always have these really cool images in my head of what I want things to turn out like but they actually never turn out anything like it.... I'm thinking 'oh this should be simple', 3 weeks and 50 cakes later I might have different ideas :rotfl:

Okay, I am sitting here bawling my eyes out after reading what happened to your sweet little dog.

I have a Yorkie, Emmie, she is 8 and she is my "first born". And.....we go outside and sometimes when I'm not watching her good, she gets close to the road and I am just imagining that happening to her and.....well....here I go again. I would fall apart.

Anyway, I truly am so sorry. I have been reading this report and your Disney one in Jan. I just haven't posted yet because I wasn't through reading (still not). But when I read that.....I knew I had to post.

Going to go back to reading now and try to stop crying.

Okay, I'm better now. :)

I am a big scrapbooker. My suggestions are: two peas in a bucket and creative memories. Put both of those into google and their websites will pull up. On the two peas website go to member gallery and then search gallery to put in the what your scrapbooking (baby's 1st year) and TONS of different layouts will come up that people have posted. Very helpful.

Also, if you can find a creative memories representative in your area, they are very helpful and usually host crops every month or so. It is a great way to get ideas and meet people who are into scrapbooking. Or if you don't want to do that just check out their website and go to the project center to get some layout ideas.

I get a lot of cute stickers, paper, etc. from Hobby Lobby and Michael's. I think ribbon works well on albums for babies. I did an album for my friend's baby before he was born and she loved it. I made it to where she could just put in the pictures as he got older.

Most of all, have fun with it! Sorry if that is too much info!!!

There are Almonds in this pic....I hadnt noticed....:rotfl2:

Hi, Heather, just got caught up! We planned a big party for my dad's 80th birthday, then came father's day, then a garage sale at my parents this weekend, so I kinda fell behind on everything. Oh, and our 180 day mark came this week, so I was crazy trying to plan out stuff.

I'm so sorry about your little Jasper. Don't ever feel like it was your fault; you can tell how much you loved him, and I'm sure he knew it too. We had our cat, Abercrombie till he was 19 years old (well, I got him when he was 8 1/2 from a friend). He was definitely our baby, before we had our dd. We even gave him a sweet 16 birthday party! I believe our pets truly know what we're saying to them; Aber would sometimes meow back "I love you" at night when we told him goodnight. (No, I wouldn't post that just anywhere on these boards! ) We finally got so sick with hyperthyroidism, even with meds for years, that we had to let him go. Even the vet was crying when we had to put him to sleep. She was great.

It took us a long time to want another pet--actually about a year and a half after Aber died, a stray and then one of her half grown kittens started showing up at our house and decided to stay. So, we actually didn't "decide" to get a pet, one decided on us! They both moved with us when we came to our current house about 3 1/2 years ago, but the mama cat ran off on that new year's eve, and we found out she had taken up with a neighbor down the road!! Traitor! But we have the other cat still, Morris, an orange tabby. We love him very much, but it's still not the same as Aber because he's not in the house with us all day, and he just doesn't "talk" all the time and answer me like Aber used to. I'm sure when the time is right, you and Darren will find another little furry face to love.

Whew, well, that was too long! But the update was great, and I agree that those shrimp look really scary. I don't want to see the heads on them, or their little legs, bleck! Great pictures with your new camera, too!

You haven't been to Dirty Dick's?? I thought you have. You definitely need to. My SIL got oysters, but I don't like them either. I can't get past the snotty look of them. :worried:

Me either!!! They look nasty and everytime they eat them they try to make me eat one and I just give them the look! Chad put one towards my face and the water dripped on my leg and I about passed out!!!

No, my sister ate there but I haven't.....yet!:lmao:

I am a speed reader too, I can finish a novel in a week lol. I don't know why, but on trip reports I usually follow along with some comments, and then I'm like, what am I doing?? I need to read the actual STUFF! :rotfl: But then a few pages later I'm reading the comments again. :rolleyes1

Yes I'm excited about the baby report. I love babies! :cloud9:

I'm already the coolest aunt ever! ;) Just kidding!

I hope you get to work on your scrapbook soon, but the cakes sound tastier! You need to post pictures if you decide to make any!

Thank you so much. Please watch your baby when you go outside. You turn around for a second and then your whole heart gets torn out in an instant. Be sure to give her kisses from me.

Thank you for posting, it means alot!

Thank you for all of your tips. I have cleaned Hobby Lobby out when they had a big scrapbook sale lol. I have all kinds of 3D stickers and things, and I just got over 400 pictures of Logan developed at Wal-Mart. Now all I have to do is put it all together in an organized way. We'll see!

Not too much info at all, thanks again! :thumbsup2

That's so sweet about Abercrombie. How cute that he would say 'I love you'. I'm sorry you lost him.

Our vet was really good with Jasper too. He would kiss him and everything. You have to be an animal lover to be a vet I think. I would hope so anyway!

Thank you for sharing your story with me and for reading along. I really appreciate it!

Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

Sorry everyone. I was going to update today, but when I turned my computer on, nothing happened. The monitor kept giong to sleep and I couldn't even get to my desktop. I was SO frustrated. I called HP and everything. You know what they told me? "You can pay $50 for technical support for up to 2 weeks, or you can pay $100 for support up to a year."
I was like, "Excuse me? So that means you won't give me any help unless I pay you?"
"Yes. You can choose one of those options."

I was so mad. It's their product, they can't help me troubleshoot?? So I did everything I could, unplugged the whole computer, tried a new surge protector. I was just about to take my brother's monitor to see if mine was fried or something, when I came home to show Darren what happened.

"See, I'm going to show you what it's been doing all day." And I turn it on. It boots up perfectly. :rolleyes2 I was happy though! I just hope it doesn't do it again!

We might be going shopping for birthday supplies for Logan's party tomorrow, but I will try my best to have an update out! Be ready to post, post, post!!! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Thank you for reminding me not to take my sweet little dog for granted. I've been on top of her all day today making sure she doesn't go within 15 feet of the road. I needed that reminder, so thank you for sharing.

I will pray to the computer Gods that yours does not go caput. :) I want to read more!

I know you wouldn't take her for granted anyway, but maybe you'll give her that extra kiss or treat when she wants it. :lovestruc

Thank you. I hope it doesn't break again!

:lmao: I probably would have went to the bathroom and scrubbed my leg down with Purell..But that's just me. :faint:

:rotfl2: I keep some hand sanitizer in my purse, so I grabbed it and started rubbing it all over my leg!

oh doesn't it always work like that? :headache:  Like when you take your car to the shop and it just won't make that same noise, so you have to make the noise the best you can for the service man and try not to sound like a blubbering idiot. :rotfl:

Glad it's working now!

Oh PLEASE do keep a tight leash on her (literally)! I lost my baby in the same way, although I didn't even get to have a CHOICE of whether to help him or not. I hate to think about it! Stupid ASPCA people! :furious:

I'm already the coolest aunt ever! ;) Just kidding!

I hope you get to work on your scrapbook soon, but the cakes sound tastier! You need to post pictures if you decide to make any!

Thanks, but I don't think it will be any time soon with the scrapbook. I actually decorated a cake the other day, well 2 cakes. Nick made one but I couldn't wait that long to decorate it so I brought another one from the supermarket too. They weren't exactly works of art but not bad for a first try... I even made a icing Scamp and Tigger to put on top of Nick's... it was quite funny :rotfl:

Hi Heather! I've been lurking for a little while, but had to post after reading about your baby. I am so sorry. I don't think I've ever read anything that's made me cry like that.
Anyway...to a happier topic...I was glad to find your report, as my DH, myself and some friends are going to PC Beach in a couple of weeks...And guess where we're staying...Long Beach! Love that place...this will be our 4th time staying there.
So did you not like Pineapple Willy's? I noticed that you said the food was "okay". It's one of my favorites, but I always get the ribs and they are sooooo good. Glad that you liked Margaritaville as well...We've been excited about trying it out as well. How was the food at Dirty Dick's? We'd thought about trying it the last time, but I had read some bad reviews on it. We did go in and look at the shirts, and like you, I just had to pass!!
We really have too much in common...We love Backyard Burgers as well. Used to be one pretty close to our house, and it closed down a couple months ago, so I hope the one in PC Beach is still open when we get there. Can't beat their baked potatoes!
Oh yeah...guess what kind of camera I have...The pink Sony Cybershot! Love it! Of course it being pink helps too!
Can't wait to read more of your report...definitely interested to hear more about the stingrays that you mentioned earlier...I just heard about doing the "stingray shuffle" a few weeks ago...
