It's The Day Before Friday!!

Today is my day off What a list I have!! Morning is supposed to be raining so:

Dust
Vaccuum
Mt Washmore

Then afternoon is supposed to stop raining so:

Finish planting flowers

365 pic...
Tan

Swish and swipe

Dinner... Not a clue

A friend at work brought in her copy of "Fix-it and Forget it Lightly"...OMG, some really good crockpot meals, I'm so buying it on Friday! Crockpot meals, and not all with the soup from a can thing...

Got lots to do today..
I went thru my swap mounds...pulled some for our 2004 disney album.. thought I could just do a 8 x 11 album only to open a cabinet door and find some 2004 pages already done 12 x 12... but that is okay! I had more photos than I thought and they were already done! I have about 10 pages of swap items ready to go.. just need to mat and add some extras to it... but I'll be on board w/ the swap challenge after months of not!

quick run to store (why do they not tell me we are out of stuff until I return from the damn store? )
verify w/ DH that we are going to Dad's (FIL's)on Saturday, take genealogy info over to rack his memory, and photos
DH to call FIL confirm plans and tell him to pull out all the photo albums for me to go through again and take photos or bring home
scrap the day away
wrap mom's Mother's Day gifts
elem homework duty
scrap the evening away
DD to call when she returns from track meet. I'm not able to go b/c the boys have conflicts..

Think that is it for now.... but I know there will be ton more that I do... like always...

I am a little more awake today, and that is with staying up watching the entire episode of LOST.

My to do list:

Put some laundry away, throw a load in the washer.
Write in DD's communication book.
Finish putting these darn stockings on. Can't remember the last time I wore a pair.

Hairdresser
Finish Mom's Mother's Day card. I'll post it. I think it is coming out cute. I am doing a MOM board card from SCAL and cricut.

SIOH is busy w/ end of year and scheduling for the new year.. She is doing a lot of work off the boards in addition to the on the job hours! I know she is anxious for the last day of school and more time for the Men in her life and catching up here. She is just swamped! I'm calling her this evening...anything you'd like me to tell her?

Since DS has my car today I had to run to the post office very early this morning to mail my Mom's Mother's Day gift. But, it's postal!!!! That automated machine is really handy! Today will be spent working on the gift for my MIL. I really need to start on this stuff earlier next year!!!!!

I think I'm going to win for most fun day! I get to go have a mammogram! Wooooohooooo! Not! But a necessary evil

It's raining and icky, but supposed to clear up this afternoon. Morgan has softball practice tonight, Tuesday's game and pictures were rained out.

I decided to hold off on my returns until today, since I'll be over in that area for my "squeeze" anyhow, and I'm getting myself lunch too!

I also have to clean out my trunk and pack my bag for Saturday. Think I'll work on my latest CJ and swaps. Now just to figure out how to pack "lightly" without leaving anything necessary behind.

I also need to visit the grocery store, we've got nothing for dinner!

Hope everyone has a great day, try not to be too jealous of *my* fun time!

Complain incessantly about the town budget (in the latest round they cut preK, the one and only math teacher for middle school, all building improvements, the new roof, 2 aides, the only special ed teacher for middle school, all teaching supplies, nurse down to 1/2 time, oh and the kicker 17,000 in fuel oil because we didn't meet the latest number of 200,000 to be cut in round 4) grand total cut so far - almost $350,000 Thanks a bunch for you know what-ing my kids!!!!!

The one and only math teacher.. how the hell are they gonna teach math..and how can they get by w/ this with the law "NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND?"

Well, graduation is coming around of course... to date.. DD has been invited to 10 graduation parties... OMG! DH and I were just laughing that we have skated by w/ only 1 a year for the past 9 years! Do you all think it's okay to just give a card...and gifts to only those that our family is really close too...or should I do more? (really can't afford more).

I would say a card would be fine for most- or a small gift card $10 or so for those you don't know. Can you make some mini albums to give them with scrap supplies instead of having to buy them something? Just some made up and ready for them to fill in their own photos- simple just backgrounds and mats.

Definitely time to move the move up. Hard to believe they are going to get away with cutting the special ed teacher. And admitting to taking a teacher just to put a body in the room?!! How about effective teacher.
