Actually, my scrappy friend Shamrock showed up at my door and made the same offer! All is ok (for now).

I just fired an email off to everyone at DS's school (and his medical team) telling them that IF he attends school for the last three weeks, it will be on a modified schedule (of our choosing) and he will not be riding that SPED van any longer. He is beyond distraught at the thought of ever getting back on the bus.

We have just simply all hit the wall. (No wonder I feel like a smushed bug on a windshield!!!)

Hey PBF I just saw this...Ya know you can call me anytime - I am happy to do pick up and drop offs. That really sucks. I remember only too vividly the issues I had with our lovely SPED "team". I have faith that you will get him into private placement. It's done wonders for Max, I just wish it hadn't taken 3 years (and $30,000 in legal fees) Sheesh. You have to wonder what happens to the kids whose parents both work full time (getting services for DS was a full time job for me - and I acted as his classroom aide for six months) and don't have 30 grand kicking around (not that we did - but we did what we had to to make it happen). Sigh...It's just so sad.

Hopefully things will turn around and you will at least have a nice long weekend.

PBF ~ I am so sorry.. glad you have someone to come get you and take you to get DS.. He doesn't deserve that crappy stress..... but at least he let you know that his limits were pushed and needed another way home... Bless his little heart!! He's a trooper!!!

Glad to hear you got that last application in the mail.. everything is crossed in our home...

Jennifer ~ you are so awesome to offer to go help.. If I were closer, I'd be offering the same thing!!! OH, and put the laptop away...there are better things to be doing w/ your free time this weekend!

TinkerBean~ Just got home from graduation... Got some great photos of my stepson.... and I even got a hug and a thank you.... That is something I don't hear uttered much from him... I did make it thru..but had to text a few people to get me thru the times I wanted to cry!!!

What a day you all have had! I hope you have time to rest and relax and enjoy some time with your families this weekend.

I accomplished almost my whole daily list and then some. Strawberry jelly project on hold till company leaves and kids are out of school next week.

My bathroom rocks. Will post more photos soon. Have a wonderful weekend and may God Bless our Troops, our Veterans and all whom we have lost defending our great country.

Got called to run to the nursing home, it's just a matter of time.
husband come to nursing home to be with MomE, me run home to meet DD and DN off the bus.
Quick Dinner
Take DD and DN to nursing home for a final visit.
DH take DD home, me and DN stay with Mom until we convinced her to go home and get some rest.

Everyone have a safe holiday weekend.
