:tink: P&PD for Little Blythe!

It's Friday  It's the "Unofficial Start of Summer!" I have to work but DH will be going to the beach later to play :(

DS21 (22 on Monday) and DH had success in finding him a car yesterday :cool1: Which is a good thing, as being down 1 vehicle has been cramping everyone's style. I haven't seen it yet, and DS21 wouldn't give me any details on the phone last night...

Counting down till graduation... single digits!

YEAH! It's Friday and a long, non-busy weekend ahead. I think we can sleep in everyday if we want. It's just planning to go to church on Sat. night and not Sun. Still sending P & PD for Blythe.

Not much going on today. The weather is about perfect - 80 and sunny. It doesn't get any better than that. Plus no humidity.

Start dishwasher
empty dishwasher
get DD up at 9
make some calls for DH

clean main bath
clean my bath
get DD to clean kids bath

enjoy the rest of the day :thumbsup2

Have a great day and weekend!

I'm working. Hope to be sent home early :)

M has an early release day. Grampy is getting her off the bus. DH will pick her up on his way home.

Grave Flagging for the Veteran's tomorrow morning at 8:00 am sharp and then DH and I are heading to the Cape for overnight to celebrate our anniversary. Sis is taking Morgan, and they have nail appts. How nice for them! He won't let me bring the laptop, so I'll be incommunicado for a while ;)

Hope everyone has a safe and fun Memorial Day weekend!

are you doing that with the girl scouts???

cause i think that is super nice. :goodvibes

Yes, it's a boy scout and girl scout thing. They break down each cemetery into groups and we go and take out the old flags and put in new ones. On Monday after the parade (in which we are marching - wearing our red, white, and blue tie-dyed shirts), they do a flag retirement ceremony.

that's really nice. it a nice way to teach them respect and not to forget what's important on memorial day. nice.

Very nice thing to do at the cemetery. Thank you for taking the time.

Today is the day my in laws arrive for the weekend! Lots of work, making a detailed list to keep myself on track. Because I'd really rather sit here and dream about a vacation.

vacuum
kitchen and bathroom floors (ick)
straighten up office - FINALLLLLLLLLLLLY
wash sheets and prepare beds
pick up mickey art (you should see it!!)
hang mickey art
hang other items that have needed hanging forever thank you very much

I need to either make that strawberry jelly or put everything away - will see how the day goes

Putting my feet up as soon as I'm done. I will not still be vacuuming when they arrive!!!!!!!!!

Ok, just had to share. I am so excited about this project. My kids with Mickey through the years. The first couple are scanned and not the best quality, but it doesn't matter. And obviously we have more, but these just seemed to fit. DD11 hated characters until she was about 5, so she just suddenly appears as a kid!! No baby ones for her! But then check her out in 2003 with the worlds longest hug for the Mouse! I have other projects for this bathroom that are being printed today if you'd like to see them. This is a 16x20 poster going in a black frame.

Cindy - how great is that? Love the collage!

The final private school application (of the four on my list) just went into the mail - whew! Now, let's see what happens...fingers, toes, and all other body parts crossed that we can find the right school for DS.

DS is having a VERY tough day at school (terrible bus/van ride again this morning) - I may need to go over in a cab to get him and bring him home. He is refusing to get back on that bus to come home. His (thus, my!) stress level is through the roof...

I need the weekend to start right now! Looking forward to a few serene days before an insane June starts...

The Dynamic Duo are having a great time at WDW - well, duh! Of course they are!

Cindy, that's awesome! I'd love to see more.

Pam, do you need me to swing by and pick you up? Then we can go get DS?

Jennifer - you are awesome! Thanks for offering. You guys take my breath away with your care, love, and concern.

Actually, my scrappy friend Shamrock showed up at my door and made the same offer! All is ok (for now).

I just fired an email off to everyone at DS's school (and his medical team) telling them that IF he attends school for the last three weeks, it will be on a modified schedule (of our choosing) and he will not be riding that SPED van any longer. He is beyond distraught at the thought of ever getting back on the bus.

We have just simply all hit the wall. (No wonder I feel like a smushed bug on a windshield!!!)

P.S. MM, have a glorious night away with your sweetie tomorrow.

If you were planning to bring your lap top to the Cape, I'd come tear it out of your hands!

Happy Anniversary!

jennifer leave the laptop at home and enjoy some quiet walks on the beach with your DH! Tom and I just stare at each other we don't have a clue what alone time is anymore.

Pam hang in there still sending positive energy your way. I hope you took Shamrock up on the offer. that is awful what they are putting you through. there have been days that L has hit the wall and his problems are minimal to what you're dealing with and I've marched my behind in there and pulled him. this spring he had one melt down and Tom went to check on him. The secretary REFUSED to let him see L. Tom put up a stink unfortunately the principal and assit were in meetings so he couldn't get to him. Well I got the the assit principal with a message and let's just say that sec wont even look at me now. I get everything i want! Hang in there my friend and glad to hear the D D are having a great time.
