I think it would be really great if we met each other to say hello. Anyone?

I would be however I will be gone by the time you get there.

We'll be there from 14th to 21st, but will probably stay at the parks until closing every night. If it is a late night meet, I would be up for tucking my tootsies in the pool and visiting.

By your dates, it would have to be the 19th, because we have MNSSHP on the 20th.

Honestly, it's getting close and we're getting excited! I've noticed in watchinhg the weather for Orlando that it seems to be cooling off about 5 degrees since the beginning of August. That will be good for those of us going at the end of Septmeber! but then again, it is still way hot and humid!! ADR's are all set as well as flight, rooms, etc. Just got our ME tags this week and waiting for our Mickey Mail!!

Also finished off orders that we needed before we leave...battery charger , no riders for shorts, queen of hearts tiara and a white rabbit top hat for my son (that one should be interesting to pack.)

You know it's getting close when we start talking about food and supplies for the room. Our biggest debate is what do we buy at Publix versus what do we bring down in our luggage.Fortunately, Publix is close and a short taxi ride from Pop. Where it is in Kissimee, there is also WalGreens (great for disney T-shirts), a Dunkin donuts and other stores in walking distance.

Hey hey hey - not nice ;p can u tell we're sisters... Lol... don't understand either, I booked the grand gathering, and paid it off first and I'm the one still waiting lol I just really want to get them - will really feel like getting close then!

We have one suitcase that is completely packed. It is zipped up and ready to go! The other one will have the last minute things put in it.

Hey all!! I know I haven't been on much...dang work. and then this weekend--Robin(disneydiva) and her girls came. A last minute weekend together. We were chatting and I was like I have the weekend off and she's like oh well I will jump in the car and come see. Woohoo I said.
SOOOOOOOO I was packed but then we went thru what I had packed and what I had gotten for the girls for our surprise gifts. AND we went shopping at Hollister...needless to say....I HAVE TO REPACK!

I am going crazy waiting for Mickey Mail!! I am trying to make sure i get to the mailbox and the girls don't see the mail. Though I do have a mailman in my house so he can catch it at the office. Well off to take the girls to the dentist. 6 month checkup



Oyeah about the meet at Petals....well I know some nights are completely out for us.....Sun,Tues,Friday I think forsure are out. This is kinda how our groups schedule looks!

Sun- HS-Chef Mickey's 5ish ressie-back for fantasmic
Mon-Waterpark--7ish ressie for 1900
Tues--Crystal ressie 8am--MK--MNSSHP
Weds-Waterpark--5pm ressie Cape May--walk the boardwalk
Thurs--Tusker 8am ressie--AK--we have different times for Whispering Canyon
Fri--Akershus 9ish ressie--Epcot
Sat--Ohana's 9amish ressie-- Unsure of concrete ressie
Sun--9am flight out!

So I would say our chances of being caught having a drink by the pool for conversation are...Mon,Weds,maybe thurs. Not saying the adults won't come back for a drink on other nights but those will be drinks with each other as we fall asleep in the pool loungers...

Yeh - we went shopping too and now I think I need another checked bag.... oh well - we're gonna have a blast and that is all that matters... does your flight still come in at the same time as ours? we arrive 2:30 I believe...

Is there anyone of our September DISers worried about hurricane/TS?! I know Irene does not affect us since we are not leaving until next Friday...but now I can't stop worrying that there might be another TS coming next week when we leave for WDW!!!

I am not worried about the Disney part with a tropical storm, I know most inland doesn't get too bad, but I am super worried our flight down might get delayed! NO fun! Delay me on the way back so we get extra Disney down, but PLEASE don't delay me at home!

Hurricane Ike gave us 2 extra trip days, because our flight over the gulf couldn't leave. It was sweet (for us - I know, horrible for people who were adversely affected.) WDW is the safest place in Florida to be during a hurricane and rarely feels the brunt - that's why the locals pack up their houses and head there. Happy thoughts and for all of us flying in!!!

We leave next Friday too, flying out of Baltimore. I'm a bit worried, but I hope this one gets through and then next week will be smooth sailing. Only 11 days until I can have a drink at Petals!

yeh - flights would be my only concern - glad we have a direct flight down & back!
