The Countdown to 2013 - Join me! List Started!

This is the year of the ridiculous amount of field trips, so it breaks down like this. Before the end of May, I will have been to Myrtle Beach twice. I will have also been to Gatlinburg, Charleston, Atlanta and Charlotte once each for overnighters. We have a Columbia day trip twice too. Not so much worried about going with the competition choir and the HS orchestra; the middle schoolers are WILD, so those won't be Charleston and Atlanta will be insane. We had a BLAST in September, but I was stunned by how blistering hot it was. Mid 80s I was expecting; the mid 90s made me want to run for the AC. It's convenient that DDs birthday is 2/2, so it won't be nearly as bad next time. I walked down to the Hippy Dippy pool with both of the DDs a couple of times, to see if I could spot any familiar faces or LGMHs, but didn't see anyone. It didn't help that it was always crowded over there, but someone in the September post had mentioned maybe not doing it after all, so I thought everyone just had other things going on. I wish I could have met up with you guys!

Oh well, I learned I would much rather risk having to put on a sweatshirt than feel like I was going to pass out! So January it is!!

And wow, that is one INSANE year!!!!

Bad part is, it's really just four months!lol I remember being so annoyed when the temps droppes. It had been like standing on a frying pan all week, and was suddenly beautiful. Annoying!lol

DD-4 woke up this morning turned to me and said "Oh mom I was dreaming we were at Disney World.. "and then she sighed with contentment. Then m 2 year old dd started singing about princesses at the disney world. And thi is how they are when I am not even talking about WDW

So.. I haven't stayed at a value since 06 but since we are probably going to this time (the more I think about it and look at Pop the more I am S O L D.. and yes feel free to quote this post if I change my mind 20 times) I remember when we went seeing some great window decorations. Anyone here have any fun suggestions for window decorating?

We decorated our window last time we were there in Sept. It was the end of the month so we did the Halloween clings. It did look really cute. The only things is that we were on the 3rd floor and did not get many passerbys where we were located. I will still put my decorations in the window and hope someone sees them

I am so ready to get this trip booked. Wonder if the packages will be out in June again this year like they were last year or if it will go back to August. I plan on booking AOA initially and then see what discounts come out. Might upgrade to POR or POFQ but the more I see on AOA I am really thinking about just sticking there.

I'm so between AOA and POP, I have a budget that I have to stick to, so if there are discounts and I can make the numbers work, I might change to a Nemo Suite at AOA. Ultimately I'd like to get 2 LM rooms, but I don't think my 16yo DS would appreciate that, lol.

Well, I booked 3 day DCL for April 4. I am planning a few nights before DCL at either Vero Beach or Beach Club Villas. Then after the cruise 4 nights at WDW. So we are planning April 7 - 11 at Boardwalk Villas!
