The could we?? should we?? PTR **12/9 **Home from WDW**

Our plane arrives in Orlando at 5:30pm... We will have to get our luggage and go pick up the rental car... Head to Pop and check in... Drop off all of our junk, err, I mean stuff... And drive over to our ADR for Chef Mickey's

What time does everyone think we should make that ADR for?

We were kinda hoping to be done with dinner before wishes and the electric water parade happened and we could get to the Poly beach to watch it... Are we being too ambitious?

Maybe it would be better to eat a CS meal at Pop or Poly and grab a Lapu Lapu or two and head out to the beach... :confused3

The other idea is to have dinner and head over to HS since they are open til 11 that night most likely with EMH and hit a few rides...

Any thoughts???

New La Cava del Tequila Serves Up Tastes of Mexican Tequila Heritage

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. – Tasty tequilas and mouthwatering margaritas are on tap at La Cava del Tequila, a new offering for Epcot guests to explore the heritage and tradition of tequila-making in Mexico.

Tucked away in the Mexico pavilion at Epcot, La Cava del Tequila beckons guests with more than 70 types of authentic tequila, ranging from the simplest to the rarest of them all, aged to perfection and made from the finest distilled spirits from the agave plant. Tequilas range in price from $8 to $50 for a specialty tequila.

Amid warm décor, art work and original artifacts all celebrating the Mexican heritage, a “Tequila Ambassador” is on hand to educate Walt Disney World guests on the history of tequila-making.

Also on the drink menu: Exotic and uniquely blended margaritas, introducing a variety of flavored salts, spices and tropical fresh fruits masterfully prepared by experienced mixologists. A variety of quick tastes, tapas style, will be available, including freshly made guacamole and ceviche as well as mahi mahi tostadas with diced mango and avocado and blue crab tostados with chipotle mayo and Valentina sauce.

The 30-seat La Cava del Tequila is open from noon until Epcot park closing time. It is connected to the famous San Angel Inn as part of the Mexico pavilion, a popular stop for Walt Disney World guests

Uh oh... this could get expensive... Terry likes good tequila... and of course good tequila is expensive tequila...

Last time I had tequila I ended up getting the guys here from Japan to arm wrestle our group of friends... They were taking pics, I am sure there is probably a youtube video... :rolleyes1 We are probably famous in Japan... :snooty:

Tailor's birthday is December 8th... We get back very late on the 7th...

I normally do her birthday party earlier than her actual party just because people get busy with holiday parties in December... But with us being in WDW I am think I will do it after... I may even do the evening of her birthday... I dunno...

Any-who... I was thinking about taking a birthday card with us and every time we see a character we can have them sign it... Then I will pick up a gift and at her party she would have a card and present from teh characters...

What do you guys think???

I also want to buy her gifts from Mommy and Daddy while we are there... I was thinking about one of those Disney girl dolls... And buying a few outfits for it as well...

That sounds like a really cute idea! You are so creative Toni Bologne!

I say if you do the beach at Poly for the fireworks etc... that counter service would be best plus you have to hope your flights are not delayed. But then again I am no WDW expert since I've only gone once so what do i know :confused3

Did you do the electric water parade in Sept? I missed it

We are at 250 days until our trip!!!

Yes I know that this is still very far away, but it's better then the 300something it was when we decided we were going to go!!!
:banana::banana::banana:

My parents used to take them... Alec has been like 3 times and they took Tailor once... So before you call child services on me, they have been there, just not with Terry and me...

Ok Ok i just hung up the phone from them as I read this I told them I had the wrong number :rotfl2:

Nope we didn't even know it was there to be honest...

I really do not want to give up my Chef Mickey's dinner cause I would have to give up something else to fit it in elsewhere, but I am thinking we either have to give it up or move the night at the beach to a different night...

I want to take it so bad, but I am afraid something will happen to it...

Terry said we can go on our arrival night and get the sketch tote, so i would have that one with me to use if I wanted to...

With our Disney Visa we get 10% off at World of Disney and some other places, I wonder if Summer Lace is one of them, we could take the monorail over there and get my purse after our dinner... :scratchin

TrenD has the purses too right? Terry's plan sounds perfect! Do it!

TrenD does have the purses, but I was trying to find somewhere close to Contemporary since that is where we will have dinner that night... I dunno...

I could probably wait until the next morning I heard Mousegears has them now and we are headed for Epcot that day...

Question...

If you had the option to detour from WDW for 3 nights and go on a Bahamas cruise.... Would you???

I don't think you can do Chef Mickey's and the fireworks on the beach on the same night. I guess maybe pick which one is more important.

Good tequila is expensive tequila, and good tequila is even more expensive in WDW.

Which part of the trip? I am embarrassed

to admit when I read that the first thing I thought was "are we still going to get to meet you?"

Cruise leaves on the 2nd and returns at 7am on the 5th so we would still totally be on!!! That is actually the one thing that terry and I both said we were not willing to give up was our dinner!!! :goodvibes

Awww that is so sweet. What cruise line? Disney or some thing else?

We can do Disney in an inside stateroom(for this sort of a cruise we are not worried about a balcony) for 890, Carnival for 460 and Royal Carribean is like 500...

:rotfl: Someeone has seriously been looking at cruise prices.

Oh come on!! Like you thought I wouldn't have done it 100 times by now!!! :lmao:

We really like the thought of Disney Cruise Line, but there is no fun day at see whereas Carnival does have one and is about half the cost...

Any opinion on this one??

We have thought about a cruise on and off for a while. If you have the money and you want to do it, why not? I would love to read about your adventures.

Do it....No kids ahhhh the relaxation!:cheer2: I would do the non disney though I guess it just depends on if you really want to go to the Disney Island Castaway Cay which is gonna be extra $$$ im sure. Meaning activites n shopping will probably be more expensive there. but again i could be wrong!?!?
