Okay... I have to ask you all a question... We are looking back at the resort choice, and wondering if we should go another route... We are looking at renting DVC points and staying at AKV or BWV instead... It is pretty much the same price as staying at POP.... Has anyone in here ever rented DVC points? I know there are some risks, but figured you all could help us make our decision...

Hey Terry, while I have never rented points personally, I do know someone who just rented from dvcrequest.com for their September 2010 trip and said that it was quick and painless.

Of course I checked out the site, and I have to say it looks pretty legit...

Hey there! Just checking in!!! Had to go to DC for work in the beginning of the week and am finally just getting back on track!!!

Have to take, I damn near peed when you wrote me back saying is this hotel pager friendly?? Love that darn movie!!!

So, I have to tell you, I was not a huge fan of Yak & Yeti when we went in September... The food was average at best and you can seriously get the same thing off the menu at the Y & Y counter service!!! Just my two cent's!!

Also, I totally think you should treat yourself for your b-day and do a dinner show!!! We are doing Hoop Dee on 12/10!!!

So can't wait for our trips get here!!!

I think we are doing Hoop Dee on my birthday... I am pretty excited about this one...

The Hangover is on my ipod list for the plane for sure... And Stepbrothers... SO if you hear about some crazy chick that was laughing all to herself, and yelling, "But Dad, it's shark week!!!" That will be me...

Ha Ha!!! Good I'm glad you axed Yak & Yeti!! Hoop Dee Do looks like so much fun! We are going on the 10th to celebrate my birthday even thou its the 3rd! I can't wait... And like Terry said added bonus that "drinks" are included!!!

Hey everyone... I figured you would want an update on change # 3

We booked our airfare yesterday!! We found it for $350 a person... We did alot of research and that was as cheap as it can get right now We talked to people who travel all the time, and they said do it now if we can cause the flight times we are needing are going to be out of this world for Thanksgiving weekend very soon... We just checked, and the same flights we got yesterday are over $400 a person now and the plane was already half full... Yikes!!

Here comes the change... We changed our dates just a bit... Instead of flying out Thanksgiving, we are going to be leaving the following Sunday, Nov 28, and coming home the same day, Dec 7... We talked and realized that without kids, we won't need 12 days to get it all in, besides we were just there last year... Not to mention, by cutting out 2 days at the start, we saved a bunch on hotel/dining cause of the holiday... We put almost $500 back in our pockets by not going for 2 days...

We also did some checking to see the history of discounts, and if Disney follows their trend, the Sunday after Thanksgiving starts the discounts Who counldn't use one of those... maybe free dining or 30% off room rate (hint hint )...

We decided to stay Pop for this trip and not go with DVC for a couple of reasons... The main one is we like discounts... Toni also emailed a few people on their points and we never heard back, so we took that as a sign... Toni also mentioned that the first time she stays in DVC, she wants it to be OUR DVC points, and she wants the "Welcome Home" packet they give you the first time.... I agree with her, and we will be getting that hopefully within a couple of years... Looking and purchasing the membership can be a thread all by itself.. Imagine the planning and research that will go into that purchase

We are very excited and this trip seems more real to me now that we bought the airfare yesterday... Stay tuned for our next change, cause I am sure it will be soon...

I am starting to get us ready for our Las Vegas trip... I stopped in the travel isle at Walmart for some necessities... And when I got home, I went to put them in the cupboard... Can anyone else see where this is going???

I already had a ton of travel stuff!!! Oops...

So I only need to pick up toothpaste for the Disney World trip... I got everything else already... ANd while that is nice for my bank account, I am kinda bummed that I don't need to go buy all that stuff again... I know, I am strange... But I have a feeling that is why most of you even read this thread...

I am going to try and talk Terry into taking me to the Disney Outlet in Vegas while we are there, so hopefully we will be able to find a few shirts or something for the trip!! I am weird, I don't like to have pictures from different trips with us wearing the same clothes... (where is the smiley with me in a strait jacket??)

I went to the salon and got my hair done today! It has been way too long! I got my hair cut and colored, it's like I lost 5 pounds off my head!!!

I am still trying to tell my mom that she loves me to bring me back a Dooney and Bourke!! Now she says that she was going to but since we are going on our own, I can buy it myself! SO I snuggled up next to my Dad and said "But Daddy..." ... He just laughed...

I will try and get a hairdo pic up this weekend... Terry works graveyard tonight and is then off until Monday so he should be able to get a picture...

Popping in to say howdy! You've been busy making all kinds of new arrangemetns! Woohooty! Airline tix, and that's great you are getting to pocket. Nice work! You're right, I don't think you'll need all 12 days to get everything done. Without the kids, your touring will be a lot quicker.

Has anyone been to the Dallas/Fort Worth airport?? We have a layover there, just under 2 hours, and we are planning on getting lunch while we are there... I noticed they have a Fuddrucker's and that is one of Terry's favs... American Airline uses 3 different terminals at the airport... I am wondering if we can get from terminal to terminal easily or if we need to just stick with whatever terminal our flights and coming in and out of... We may get lucky and come into or leave from terminal D anyway, but I just thought I would see how hard it is to navigate through that airport...

With our layovers, we are visiting 2 new states this trip! Texas, and Minnesota!!! I asked Terry if we can get a 3 day layover in Minnesota so we can hit Mall of America, but he said that would cost him more than this whole Disney trip is costing him!!!

Hello! Love your PTR! It took me awhile, but I finally got caught up! Love your ADR's! (and what a great idea to make a countdown for ADR's...I'm making one right now!)

I absolutely LOVE your binder!!! (Right now I am planning my trip on a tablet...well it started as 1 tablet & has progressed to 3 tablets...) I don't know why I didn't think of a binder...I have OCD very badly especially when it comes to planning a Disney trip! I guess my mind just isn't working as it used to since I have a small toddler attached to me 24/7 now!

Can't wait to read more of your planning...oh, and don't feel too badly, I think I have already changed my plans a million times!
