The Coral Reef at Epcot

We ate there during our last visit in May and I have to say it's definitely in our Top 3 now! We liked it much much much better than Le Cellier. We look forward to going back. :thumbsup2

We skipped it last trip and are going again this nest trip. We LOVE the atmosphere with the fish, etc. We love the ocean so it's a fun place to go for us. I wouldn't say the food is my favorite but it was pretty good last time we went and our service was good. It's a fun, kind of dark, restaurant. Make sure to get one of those "glow" drinks. Those are fun at Coral Reef!

it is absolutely NOT a waste! we keep going back because we love it so much. no one in our family has ever gotten less than amazing food at coral reef, it has become one of our favorite places. it's also a real treat to watch the fish while you eat. the atmosphere and the food both make for a really nice experience. here are some of my food pictures from our trips to coral reef:

seared chicken breast with spaetzel and broth:
once from october 2009

I wasn't crazy about it as a whole (the wait time was outrageous, most of the food was eh, and the restaurant feels sort of cheap and dated)-but we're going for the 3rd time in a few months. My daughter loves it and the Land & Sea appetizer is out of this world.

MarieLynn, thanks for posting the pics. We are going to def. give it a try. Let's hope the food tastes as good as those pictures look. ;0)

We love it and go there a couple times a trip for FD (only once a trip OOP!!)
We like Le Cellier a lot, but prefer CR because it is not so crowded and the aquarium is a huge plus. I have sat in the front near the tank and the middle and back tiers and prefer further back because you have more of a panoramic view of the whole tank. We might get the steak one time and the mahi mahi another so it's not like we are repeating the meal.
