Actually, this is good news for us. We DON"T want to debunk this.

If McCain had chosen a "ho-hum" VP choice, someone that was expected, someone who didn't fire up the base as much, it would be game over. However, with a fired up base, it becomes a challenge. Which means more Republicans coming out in November to vote.

Just my thoughts.

i'm ostensibly a democrat (though i don't recall when i last voted for one )..
i'm what used to be called a henry jackson liberal - but i guess if i'm fired up by palin, i must not be one of those anymore either...

as for polls....pollsters are almost as dishonest as many politicians....they manipulate the data to show what they want...

Think of it this way; he was being "outraged" by ridiculous stuff that had nothing to do with anything, and picking fights about deflection or going on to the next irrelevant point when someone asked for clarification. Now does it make more sense?

what saved the country from the depression was WW2....
that's not a secret - anyone who takes macroeconomics in university learns that (and anyone with half a brain can figure it out on their own)...

and for a more recent example of democrats in a bad economy -- take michigan as an example...the democratic govenor hasn't done a whole lot of good for that state (which is now economically so badly off, it's #50 out of 50 - mighty sad)...

Tell me about it. Michigan's economy is in the pits.
